It is 2:30 pm, 104 in the valley and both of us are getting hungry. We stop at Alex & Susie’s and this time I try the burrito at $ 5. Holy Toledo! This thing is a monster. Heavy, wide, just unwielding even with both hands. It is a two meal burrito — ½ now and the rest for later. It was al Pastor with rice and beans. Great goodness.
The better half loved her carnitas and carne asada tacos. Sat at the little table and had a lovely shady afternoon meal. I feel a nap coming on.
