The customer service here cannot be beat — they will help in any way they can to get you the needed parts for the inevitable breakdown. Lucy goes above and beyond! The service techs are great and knowledgeable and will take time to explain or help you trouble shoot your problems.
I wish all businesses that I have to deal with had this level of commitment and integrity for their customers!

I did hours of research to find the best commercial/​home espresso machine. There are a few good machines made in Italy but none here in the USA… except Astra espresso machines. Once I discovered Astra, I researched it in depth.
Astra ’ s Web site has little information other than technical data. They obviously don’t spend a lot of money on Web design or advertising. But, the more I learned about their machines, the more I realized that their advertising money goes into their machines! They are built like «tanks». There is virtually no plastic inside the machine. It’s slid brass, copper, and stainless steel. No wonder there is a large group of knowledgeable Barista’s that swear by the Astra. It’s kind of a secret society. Few know of it but, those who do are extremely happy.
If you live close and can visit their building, as I do, you will see the care that goes into producing their hand built machines.
Their customer service is great! I bought a used Astra machine that was purported to be 2 yrs old. When I brought the machine to Astra to convert it from a plumbed in model to a Pour over (has a reservoir tank), they informed me the machine was over 10 yrs old! I was shocked. My shock turned to pleasant surprise when they said the machine tests perfectly and, except for scuff marks, as good as a new one!
They were able to convert the machine, sell me a new grinder, and calibrate the new grinder to my old espresso machine… while I waited! That’s when I became a dedicated Astra fan. Businesses like this is what our country was built on. Pride in our work, great product, and great customer service.
