Baldwin Hills Recreation Center

I’ve been coming to this park for 16 years. This park is one of those family friendly environments where you feel comfortable allowing your child to play on the apparatus while you sit and watch a a baseball game take place.
Baldwin Hills Park offers a terrific baseball, basketball, flag and tackle football programs. They also have music classes, Zumba, Silver Foxes (workout class for senior citizens), and summer and winter camp and an enriched after school program. They also pick up from local schools after school and bring the children back to the park until the parents pick them up.
Baldwin Hills Park is a hidden little gem. It’s tucked away in a residential residence right behind Baldwin Hills Elementary School. The majority of the staff at Baldwin has been working there for over 10 years. The staff also consist of adults who grew up at the park, as a camper, volunteer or in the After-​school program.
Baldwin is an awesome facility with a beautiful track to walk around.
