Baskin Robbins

First of all, I was a bit confused because it’s a joint place with ice cream & a sub sandwich place.
I went here for ice cream cake for my boyfriend & it’s pretty expensive. You can only have writing in either red or blue frosting. The writing wasn’t that nice. It looked like someone that was learning to write for the first time. The cake itself was an okay taste.
The worker was nice enough to give me 2 candles for free. If not, a pack was $ 2.99. The positives of this place is that there’s actually a parking lot.

Sloppy, no variety, terrible quality, lazy unqualified staff and messy presentation. I walked right out.

I have visited this particular Baskin Robbins twice thinking maybe the first time was just a fluke. It wasn’t. Both times they had very few flavors to choose from. 31 Flavors? More like 31 tubs of plain chocolate. The sundaes are supposed to be made with hot fudge, but instead they give you a small drizzle of chocolate sauce, which is NOT the same thing. The employees are semi friendly but seem a little clueless. My friend dropped his sundae on the floor of the store, by accident; but, I think it was the Gods doing him a favor. I will not go back to this location.

This is probably the worst Baskin Robbins I have been to. I bought a cake and had them write a message on it. The writing was terrible! The service was terrible. I will never go back here.

I do not recommend this location. I have had a few bad experiences at this location. They never have a full selection of ice cream available. Once (during a hot summer day) they had only a few selection of ice creams… the kind that no one wants. I went back a few days later, and still, no inventory. Also, the sign on the door says they close at 10:00 p.m. A couple of times me and my kids went at 9:40pm and they would not let us in. they said they were closed. I will not be visiting this location anytime soon.

I’ve only ever ate ice cream here… It’s not bad. Only thing is that it’s a bit too dirty for my taste, not the ice cream of course. The location/​outside area. But luckily I live around the corner so I just eat my ice cream on the go. Otherwise, I’d go pick a better joint to take my money!

ok ok, before you go and strip my Unilocal credibility because i am reviewing two, yes, TWO baskin robbins in a row, there is a very legit reason why i am doing so and one day you WILL thank me for this review. YES, THANK ME. actually, you know what? just go ahead and preeminently thank me right now. just go ahead and get it out of the way.

alright, so this place, in the heart of hollywood more or less is pretty sweet and here is why. i had a situation. no, not that kind of situation folks, that’s for another review. what happened is that i was in charge of bringing bday cake BUT i also had a date AND another bday to attend to. so effectively, i am stuck with a bday cake all afternoon and i don’t know what to do with it since the cake is in long beach and i have to be in hollywood. so what do i and my trustee partner in crime do? we going into this place and ask them if they can hold our cake while we take care of our previous commitments.
and they said YES. at no extra charge either and so off my partner and i went and committed a series of unmentionable crimes and later came back to pick up the cake and bring it to the second bday celebration.
what could’ve been a terrible day was saved by none other than this baskin robbins.
now, give me back my Unilocal credibility!
