The 1 star is for the receptionist lady who has to deal with the crazy bitch doctor here. This place deserves negative stars otherwise! All we needed was a quick doctors note for school and the crazy bitch doctor kept refusing to write us one, accusing us of wanting to use it for insurance fraud or who knows what else. This was all after we paid out of pocket for the visit. Dr. Yoon is also extremely unprofessional, she decided to raise her voice in an open area of the clinic, yelling out obscenities and ridiculous accusations at patients! I feel really bad for her receptionist who was clearly fearful of her employer and had serious difficulty making extremely reasonable requests from a physician. She even had to sneak around the corner to whisper multiple apologies to us for her out of control boss’s behavior!

I got here at 9 am when they open, the doors were still closed, and it was opened at 9:10 am. The MD wasn’t even in and it’s 9:30 now. If it says open at 9 am then the staff needs to be here on time same for the MD. I don’t know how much longer i need to wait and I’m the first one here…

I went to visit Dr. Yoon because she ended up being my choice for a Primary Care Physician since I live just a minute or 2 away from this hospital and they accept HMO. My experience sucked because I made an appointment for a physical check-up and blood tests since I haven’t been to the doctor’s in maybe 5+ years AND I’ve secretly felt unhealth in those 5+ years that reassures me that I need to get checked by a Dr., however, I walked out with only a self-check breast exam pamphlet, -$ 5.00, and waste of time away from work. –My appointment was at 9 and I saw the Dr. at 9:35. Might I add, I was the 1st one there and the only one there until around 10. –I told her I had problems here and there and the only diagnosis was, «You need to lose some weight.» –Then, I was told that I probably can’t get a blood test bc my insurance won’t cover it. …Then why am I here today? I never walked out of the Dr.‘s office PIST. Exhausted and hoping I’d never have to go back, but never PIST. If anyone can suggest a great Dr. who accepts HMO, PUH-LEASEDO.

Very disappointed. I have used Executive ER in the past, but they were not open this Saturday.(It is a holiday weekend). So I called up my insurer and they recommended Beacon as it is close to me. The exterior of the building needs cleaning and general maintenance. The interior is very low end. The neighborhood is run down.(It is located at Olympic and Alvarado.) All this could be excused if they had great service. But they don’t. It was«wham, bam, thank you ma’am.». They didn’t listen when I told them what my problem was. They showed more concern over getting their co-pay. I will now suffer through the weekend and hopefully will see my regular doctor on Tuesday. The funny thing is that they kept telling everyone that they only take Blue Cross PPO. They do NOT take Blue Cross HMO. Well, if you have Blue Cross PPO, you can go anywhere. Why would you ever go here?
