BellJar has become my go-​to spot for buying gifts. A really nice selection of pottery & small housewares, jewelry, and clothing. Even the least expensive items are so well chosen they make great presents. It reminds me of some of the boutiques in Austin — a bit more of a bohemian /​Southwestern vibe than some of the local offerings, and a little more timeless as well, in contrast to some of the Los Feliz boutiques that run either too cutesy or too hipster. Sasha has great taste and is very welcoming.
This is a lovely store and a great addition to the neighborhood.

A great selection of vintage, homeware and magic.
I love how well-​curated it is, and how different it is compared to its SF sister store. Great for buying gifts or treating yourself to something special!
