Food is ok but damn that customer service is extra trash. Learn some people skills brotha maybe people will ignore the fact the food is average

This place is the holy grail. After taking an unreasonably large amount of pictures at LACMA, we were pretty hungry and decided to get something from the food trucks across the street! The menu is divided into wings, sliders and sides. You can make any entrée a combo by getting a side and you get a free drink! You can get 8 piece, 16 piece, 24 piece bone in or out! Get the moms special sauce. It’s amazing. Sweet, savory and tangy. And you have to get their bomb dust fries. If I could have those fries with the wing sauce everyday… I would. The price is definitely on the pricier range but portions are huge and you can share with a friend! Ask them for a to-go box so you can eat your chicken in the comfort of your car! They also have a restaurant, but you can follow their Instagram for their daily food truck locations.

Had a chance to try some of the boneless wings and sliders off the belly bombz food truck last week while in downtown LA. First of all, I must say Belly Bombz has delicious flavors for their wings! Never had I imagined such wings would be packed with flavor. I ordered some of the boneless soy caramel wings and pork belly sliders. The wings were a good amount, sweet, and yummy! The soy caramel is a sweet soy flavor. Perfect for those who are not into spicy flavors. The Pork belly sliders had a delicious slaw in them that went well with the piece of crispy pork belly. My boyfriend ordered some of the boneless Spicy garlic parmesan wings. He absolutely loved them! The spicy garlic parmesan consists of buffalo sauce with garlic, and freshly grated parmesan on top. I tried one of them and fell in love. Ill probably order those next time we visit belly bombz!

My bf usually doesn’t like foods that are small portions for high prices. However, he does have a soft spot for Korean inspired foods. I’ve had belly bombz bookmarked for ages, and I was ecstatic to see it parked right outside the staples center. I ordered the Honey chipotle barbecue and firecracker wings(6 of each) and a side of bomb dust fries. Cole slaw comes with every wing order! 30 $ altogether? I might have been overcharged because 12 wings is 16 $ plus 4 $ fries. Unless the wing prices went up, but it was my fault for not double checking the total :(… I would have to say the wait is pretty long, about 30 minutes. For us, it took even longer because someone else grabbed our order LOL, I wasn’t upset but they did their best to make sure we left happy. Their customer service is incredible, they accommodated us with drinks and an order of pork belly sliders because of the wait and another customer taking our food. The pork belly sliders were amaaaaazing! It was my bf’s fave. My fave was the firecracker wings, but the honey chipotle bbq was delicious too. The bomb dust fries are soooo good. Especially dipped in the extra wing sauce. The coleslaw gives a great contrast to the saltiness of the meal and their dressing on it is good too! Absolutely loved it and would strongly recommend :)

How could you not purchase food from an establishment called Belly Bombz. I was lucky enough to come across them for the first time in Pasadena and can’t wait for the next time. I had the Pork Belly sliders and something special. An off the menu kind of special, akin to the In N Out secret menu. Spicy Garlic Parmesan Fries! I believe their employees are testing and devouring this item amongst themselves, but they are happy to share. Good people and good food. But isn’t that what life is about?

Just ate here for the first time as it was parked down the street from my job in Culver City. Ordered both the grilled cheese with pulled pork and some bomb dust wings. The grilled cheese was delicious, but the wings were completely inedible. They were so over cooked and dried out that each of my eight boneless wings was about as crunchy as a ball of crispy bread crust. I literally threw them away after a Co worker had the exact same response as I did… complete waste of money. It’s like they were served to somebody else who didn’t end up taking them, so they put them back in the fridge, and cooked them a second time when I ordered them. 5 stars for good service and the grilled cheese, but 2 stars overall for messing up something as easy as boneless chicken wings.

First time I have been to this truck and well… where do I start. I don’t normally put a lot on food because it’s subjective. However if you try the two items I had today and don’t like them, something is clearly wrong with you. This was sooooo good. I need it in adult size. The sliders where a tease. Just as you finish, you’re like«awwww it’s gone?» I had the Crispy Pork Belly and the 51⁄50 sliders. If you want them both you’ll have to place and order for both… so I did. Best money I’ve spent this week. I could easily eat here a couple times a week. I need this Belly Bombz truck in my life again soon. *Hooomahgawd good*

This truck was near our office the other day at lunch time, so I decided to give it a try with a couple of coworkers. I ordered the boneless sriracha lime wings. They smelled so good! …but they were truly disgusting. The chicken was poor quality and they were over-fried leaving them tough and dry. No amount of sriracha lime sauce could save them. My coworkers felt the same about their orders and no one finished their food.

I’m thinking what you’re thinking — skip over the bad review because you really, really want this truck to be good. I hear ya — I also want them to be good. But that’s why I feel obligated to let y’all know when it just ain’t worth the $ 15 bucks. I got the boneless caramel soy wings and the bombz dust fries. The wings were just awful. Greasy, fatty, gristly, and of very poor quality meat. The fries and wings both had a slight fish oil smell and taste. Forced myself to try to eat $ 2 worth, and threw the $ 13 remains away. Now my gut hurts, and I need to brush my teeth to get the fish oil/grease taste out of my mouth. Save your money, friends.

Korean street food truck specializing in pork sliders and wings? Yes, please. You will see this food truck at night markets or roaming around the area of Los Angeles, no doubt. EXPERIENCE I like the concept, but the consistency is not there. I’ve tried this place a few night markets ago — wings are solid depending what flavor/seasoning you get and the Garlic and Thyme Fries were good too. The fries were a little thick for my liking but it had the right crispiness and seasoning. We met again outside the Los Angeles Convention Center recently after an event. I wanted a snack, and I knew what I was getting when I ordered the fries. However, after waiting 40+ minutes in the unrelenting sun in the afternoon, what we received was very disappointing. Not exactly soggy, but the fries lacked a fresh crispiness I was expecting. That was not what made it disappointing — the overwhelming amount of salt just sprinkled on top was the determining factor between a «eh no comment» and«oh haaaail no» for me. The fries were saltier than me after waiting a good 40+ minutes in the sun. Where was the garlic and thyme? I guess a few tiny bits of green distinguished it from the regular o’ french fries. It was probably the never ending line that rushed the worker with the heavy hand on the salt, but if 80% of the items were already crossed off the menu and sold out, then the remaining items should be at least edible. SERVICE The staff was not particularly rude, but this should not have happened. I was next in line when I stepped out of my way to help someone who had a difficult time receiving their order. His hands were full and he had his plate of food at his fingertips. During this, people in front of us completed their transaction and stepped to the side. The couple behind us just went on ahead and cut us in line! The lady taking order completely disregarded my sister in the process — who was still in line — and actually took their order before us. The order window and pick up window were right next to each other, so it was not like I flew to Europe and back. To make matters worse, that couple was well aware and unapologetic. Yes, I was hella aggravated after waiting 40+ minutes to get cut in line and then be presented with Satan-salted fries. Don’t get me wrong, I want to continue to like this place and I will most likely eat here again in the future — but please, reach out to your staff and keep things under control for your customers’ sake.

I usually bring my lunch to work, and occasionally eat at the deli downstairs. That is, until they abruptly closed their doors a few weeks ago, no doubt due to something funky going down at the last minute. So the property management group has gourmet trucks coming daily due to the inconvenience. I decided to go down and check one out. It’s okay food, Nothing to stand in line for, or something that would be featured on Diners, Dives, and Drive-In’s. Before I wrote the review I wanted to make sure my taste buds weren’t playing tricks on me and perused some of the reviews, but people are generally saying the very same thing I felt after eating off the truck. One person summed it up well, that it was glorified junk food. Most working professionals are not trying to get down like that during the lunch hour. It’s bad enough after lunch we are emotionally checked out — we at least need some proper nourishment to get us through the day. Again, it’s not bad food, it’s food that people would eat if they were drunk or high(I do neither). Then, I imagine it would be BOMB. And the people on the food truck? Don’t expect service from the Lollipop Kids. In my head I felt like ‘Bitch Better Have My Money” was playing. Not the most chipper folks. The end.

I tried Belly Bombz for the first time after seeing them on the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books website under«places to eat». The menu items looked pretty good, so I decided to keep an eye out for them when I got to the festival. I would describe the fare as glorified junk food, but in a good way. Much of the items are adaptations of happy hour foods and other items you would get at a bar. It is pretty good for a festival truck, but there is room for improvement. I ordered the garlic parmesan«wings» combo, which included a side salad. About 4 of 8 wings consisted of dark meat(apparently Japanese and Koreans associate wings with the thigh region), and those parts are a little overcooked, giving the meat a chewy, crunchy texture. The portions are large but a little too tough. They would be better if they were all made from portions of white chicken and cooked more consistently. I was surprised to find the side salad, made of cabbage and alfalfa sprouts, was very fresh and healthy, but the miso-lime dressing seemed to be mayonnaise-based. That one particular element made it less healthy and exotic, and slightly disappointing. But mostly it was a good food experience that could be improved.

Terrible! Got the boneless wings. They were dried out and hard to eat. Terrible flavor and over priced. Never again.

I got the soy caramel boneless wings and the dust bomb fries. The 8-pcs fried chicken is very on point, even though I hate how I can’t a mix of flavors within my 8-pcs order. But the biggest disappointment is definitely the dust bomb fries– they’re very dry, no moisture and not crispy at all. So I would say just stick with the wings here.

Checked this truck out in Granada Hills last Friday night and Jesus Lord Christ our Savior, WOW. I’ll keep this short and sweet, here’s what I ordered. I suggest you order the same thing, if not more… –2 Crispy Pork Belly Sliders… 3 day brine, 5 hour braise, crisped up on the grill. Served w/scallion slaw & mom’s recipe sauce on a fresh made Korean bun. –Bomb Dust Fries I don’t know what was on it, but it tasted PHENOMENAL. If you come across this food truck patrolling your neighborhood or any other neighborhood near you, I suggest you best get crackin’ on chasing down this fine, fine, FOOOOOOOINE, eating establishment on wheels. MealZ on WheelZ, my friend. MealZ… on…WheelZ.

It was the BOMBZ in my BELLY There are SOMANY food trucks out there today and NOW the brick and mortar stores are staring to have trucks as well. Now this is NOT all that new since I’m INO(In-N-Out) sort of paved the way with their GI-NORMOUS trucks at company events but for smaller mom and pop type stores with only one or two locations this is pretty big… for them anyway because they can reach a BIGGER audience of peeps by going TOTHEM in different locations. PRETTYCOOL, not to mention GENNN-IUS for the BELLYBOMBZ and I haven’t even tries the food yet! Already impressed by their business savvy! So yet another bookmarked place on my list that I have not had a chance to try so when I saw the name BELLYBOMBZ my tummy antenna went WAAAAY up and fast! Thank you JEEE-SUS! I was REALLYHAPPY that I decided to come to the Home Depot Tuesday Night Round Up! Woohoo! I’m such a GREAT decision maker! Yeeeaaahhhh me! Anywho I digress. So I saw this truck and GOTUBEREXCITED. I have heard SOOOMANYGREATTHINGS about the brick and mortar, seen SOOOOMANY check-ins, not to mention reviews from my fellow Unilocal’ers. My hope was that this truck would be just as GOOD! The first thing I noticed was the daily special. I had a choice of boneless wings or sliders(one flavor ONLY) so I went with the sliders. With the sliders I had a choice of the 51⁄50 which is half ground bacon and half ground beef or chicken sliders. My sliders came with lettuce, cheese, grilled red onions and chili aioli. I also had a choice of BOMB dust fries or garlic & thyme so I went with the dust fries and it included a choice of a drink all for $ 12. For me that price was not bad at all considering any fast food burger chain would cost about that for the same meal but it might not be all that GOOD. Then I saw a little sign that said if you are a going to do a review on « Unilocal» to let Little Miss Ashley know. I thought it was like a check-in offer that they had not included with Unilocal on the app. So I said I’m a Unilocal’er and GUESSWHAT I GOT? A BIGFATNOOOTTTT-TING…Yes NOT-TING! I didn’t forget the«H» I purposely left it out! They ONLY want to know to make your food better so they get GOODREVIEWS, which is NOT the point of Unilocal! Unilocal’ers EVALUATE the true essence of a business! Some owners appreciate the reviews and will contact you if your experience was bad but the BELLYBOMBZTRUCK is just cheating the system and I have a PROBLEM with that! Then if that wasn’t bad enough I didn’t get my FRICKINDRINK! WHAT, WHAT! Umm did I miss something? Did I NOTREAD the«SPECAILS» correctly? No I READ it RIGHT but I GOTNO F’in DRINK”! I got my food packaged and ready to go and with a smile which was NICE but… I WANTEDMYFLIPPINDRINK”! I tried to tell her but the line was growing and growing and I couldn’t flag anyone down inside once they passed my food through the window! So I WASNOWHOT and ANNOYED! I decided to go home and eat because there was nowhere to sit except for the HOTBLAZINSUN which was NOT an OPTION for me! I get home and get MYOWN drink since I was DENIED the one I FRICKINPAIDFOR! My sliders were REALLYDELISH and GOOD! I ENJOYED the mix of the 51⁄50 sliders and they were filling to the point I ONLY could try a couple fries! BUT I MUST say YUM, YUM, YUMMY! FRICKINFINGERLICKINGOOD… LITTERLY, because I was LICKIN the tips of ALLFIVE of my FINGERS! The DUSTFRIES were ONPOINT! LOVEDTHEM! The other little plus was this truck has napkins, utensils, and containers for ketchup available without having to ask! That REALLY was GREAT! Overall the I REALLY, REALLYLOVEDTHEM so why the 3 starts you ask? Well NOT getting my PAIDFORDRINK was bad but the food made up for that. Yes I’m shocked too that I got over it. BUTTHATLITTLESIGN to let THENKNOW you plan to do a « UnilocalREVIEW» because you’re a Unilocaler like you’re going to get some kind of check in offer and they ONLYMARKYOURRECEIPT so THEYKNOW in the back left a REALLYBADTASTE in my mouth, thus the 3 stars! You should give GOODSERVICE, have a GOODPRESENTATION, BEFRIENDLY, CORDIAL and wanting to PUTOUTGREATFOOD because that is the GOAL! NOT for a GOODREVIEW… YEPITBACKFIRED… MENOLIKEYTHAT… NOBUENO…3STARTS for you!

Ate at the food trucks parked along Wilshire on Sunday after visiting LACMA. Ordered the wings firecracker style, boneless and with bone, and sliders(51⁄50& chicken) with bombed fries. The food is ok nothing special and it is very pricey. It is probably the best food truck(most upscale in terms of quality presentation and quantity) of the food trucks there but the food is just not the best or even memorable in taste and quality for the price. I would not eat it again.

Came after the Unilocal Shop Local event, as they were parked right out front. Ordered the Pork Belly Sliders with the Bomb Dust Fries and a drink(~$ 12). They came out pretty quick, under 10 minutes. Very tasty. Love the Bomb Dust Fries!
