Literally best kebab/doner I’ve ever had on this side of the world. Nicest and coolest servers too. Could not possibly recommend anymore.

I was nearby and was craving a boba tea drink and this place was recommended to me. Unfortunately, it was a bad choice! I purchased the pistachio milk tea since I had never had that flavor before and it was just AWFUL!!! It tasted like watered down skim milk with cheap flavoring. I couldn’t drink it! The service was also unacceptably slow. I waited 13 minutes for them to make my drink after I ordered AND I was the only pending order in the entire place. I wont be visiting this shop again.

I just ordered a doner sandwich combo for delivery and, holy crap, it was so delicious! The sandwich was warm and tasty. The french fries were still crisp, not soggy like most delivery french fries, and seasoned well. I was so happy with my order that I ended up ordering a second sandwich for delivery to eat after going out tonight!

Delicious! Authentic! Addicting! Can you tell I love this place? I have come here a few times and always leave feeling full, and satisfied. Don’t let the name Doner Kebab scare you away from trying new and delicious things. These sandwiches are packed full of flavor. Its just basically a fancy German way of eating perfectly seasoned roasted rotisserie meat, in a impeccable crispy pocket sandwich. I recommend the chef’s & hot an spicy sauce. Auf Wiedersehen Berlins!

What a great find! After a long day of shopping, my friend and I were craving a Boba tea. A quick search lead us here. The smell of amazing food had us adding dinner to our order. My friend ordered the veggie wrap and passion fruit tea with boba. I got a rice bowl and Thai tea with boba. The place was busy and we still got our order quickly. We had the opportunity to meet the manager. He was very pleasant and took time to visit while cleaning tables.

Did not get to try this when we were in Berlin, BUTSOGLAD it’s in LA so I didn’t miss out. Our doners were fantastic. Looking for something that my husband & daughter would like in the area and saw all the positive review on Unilocal and I am thrilled with this find. It’s located in a little strip mall in hectic Beverly Grove area, but we were able to grab one of the few parking spots. It’s a tiny shop; only 2 tables, communal table and bar style seats. We ordered the traditional doner sandwich w/beef & lamb, veggies, tzatziki & feta. We made it a combo for sodas & fries. Sandwich? Delicious. Husband didn’t even come up for air. I ate way more than I anticipated because it was soooo good. Fries were just right in crispness and, hubby loved the curry ketchup, while I preferred the fancy sauce. We had planned on trying their Bobas too, but we were Too Full. Final note: I thought it was hilarious they tried to speak to hubby in German; this happens every time we fly Lufthansa. He should just go ahead and learn the language!

A half German friend of mine recommended this place so the gang tried it out a few weeks ago. What an awesome place. Seating is tight inside but we were able to get a table for a group of 10+. Best part of this place is the staff, they have these really cute young kids helping out which was really awesome to see. I got a chicken doner kabob and it was very very good. Huge portion as well. Loved the pita bread that it comes in. Also liked all the sauces. Another great thing about this place is the fries that come with the meals. Obviously, very fresh and tasty. Prices were very fair. Totally recommend this place. Will be back.

I can’t decide if we come for the döner or the boba(I’m a sucker for the pistachio milk tea!) — both are spectacular. We also *love* their fries. We don’t live in the area but come out specifically for this. It always looks like too much food for me and yet I always finish it — can’t stop. Be prepared to get messy. So worth it.

Wow! First time here. The owner Matise personally took care. He is very friendly. I took the chicken sandwich which is made on freshly baked homemade bread. Everything was SO tasty and fresh. The sauces are amazing. They are in a funky strip center across from the Beverly connection. Tell all your friends. I’ll be back!

Best Döner in the whole US! Me and my friends from Germany visited the Berlin’s today and I can totally recommend the Döner-Sandwich to anyone who likes fast but almost healthy food! Fresh vegetables and really nice meat plus the typical and unbeatable tzaziki sauce make a perfect meal. Jungs macht weiter so!

Um boba and doners? That’s kind of an interesting match but it works. The owners — actually German. I kinda fell in love with the guy there that day. One of those people that genuinely care about their customers and their experience with their food. I only ordered coffee with boba but my friend got a doner with fries. Everything looked delicious. Their fries are thick cut and doner packed like its about to explode with meat sauce and veggies. And service awesome for even a small store. Their drink was the typical drinks you get at other boba spots but I have no complaints about their boba it was soft and chewy and the drink not overly sweet. I had to ask my friend again what the name of the place was just to make sure I come back for their food. I was watching the video they had playing about how the meat was prepared. And watching how they put their food together behind the counter in real life. Guhhhh it looked so good!!! Their parking is in a lot where I think people usually pay but when you tell the man you’re parking inside for the restaurant you’re given a free to go waive. I’ll be back soon.

Definitely! Try this place out, it’s so legit that the dudes in the back are speaking German. And if this really is what food is like in Berlin, well that’s another reason to book your flight: that city sounds awesome! If anything, guys, I think the sit-down space is pretty cramped, and you need another one or two trashcans around — its tough to squeeze through and step on the thing to throw my trash out. Well done otherwise!

Hate to leave bad reviews for places with such good service… but the food here was super salty. Maybe it was just the day? We had the beef and lamb doner, fries and milk tea. Everything was extra salty, I was still dehydrated by dinner. The milk tea had good flavor but was very sweet. I couldn’t even finish half. And the portion I did finish was because I was trying to wash down the salt from the food. Didn’t see this in anyone else’s review so hopefully it was just the day!

If you want great food that has an abundance of different sauces and flavors that you can also mix and customize accompanied by great boba you MUST come here! The doner aka best German sandwich you can probably get at an affordable price is one that leaves you completely satisfied to the utmost. From the fantastic bread choice and delicious perfectly browned selection of meats you can have the best mouth-gasm if I must say. The vegetable selection that goes in the sandwich really brings out the flavors and has a symphony that just melts into one another so perfectly. You cannot go wrong here, pick your choice of meat and sauce and leave the rest up to these artisans you won’t be disappointed unless you like bland food that tastes like salted cardboard. The sauces give you the perfect balance of moisture to keep you going for bite after bite but not making your sandwich too mushy, I guess depending on how fast you eat, but who takes an hour to eat deliciousness?! The steak fries… omg the steak fries. .these are the best steak fries ever, the perfect combination of fluffy insides and a crispy light brown outside! Perfectly seasoned and not overly salty as a very picky eater I have ZERO complaints! Their boba last but definitely not least(I personally have come here just for this as my taro fix) my great friend recommended I tried Taro for the first time and this was where I popped this cherry since then I have never gotten another flavor of boba being the girl who gets a different flavor everytime this is a big deal. I have gone to several places to try and satisfy that craving from boba time to other korean boba places but I have never gotten the results I wanted. Their boba had always been up to standard never have I had a time I felt like I wasn’t given their best. Their ingredients are used from the best you can find out there and they even use natural brown sugar as their choice of sweetener and not that high fructose corn syrup garbage. So unless you want poisoning I highly recommend coming here. Above all, the best pairing with this food and drink combo is their great customer service! Here you can actually meet and speak with the owner freely and they really like to hear your feedback good or bad and are always tweaking and making changes to keep their following happy and excited!

My new favorite spot! I had doner kebab for the first time during a trip to Istanbul in 2011 and since then have been on the lookout for doner in LA. I rejoiced at the arrival of Spitz, but it’s a trek for me, as I live in West Hollywood. But now this, and combine it with another love – BOBA – and it’s a real winner. Hooray. Although I’m far from an expert, it’s got a flavor very similar to the last doner I tried in Berlin. The fries are exceptional and the boba drinks are good. The guys here are really nice too. Highly recommend.

Very good! As a German(mix) I was a little annoyed at first by those who reviewed this as a «German food» restaurant. It is food from Turkish immigrants in Germany who brought their recipes to Berlin, as well as many other countries. That said, it’s excellent and it doesn’t need to be 1am to enjoy a döner. And thank you to the German owners who brought these recipes here to the US so we can enjoy it too. Excellent portions, an efficient menu and a cool/casual atmosphere. I had their beef/lamb döner sandwich. A buddy had their wrap which I definitely want to try next time. Their fries looked amazing and I will be coming back soon to try both.

The Döner sandwich was !!! And the portion was huge! The beef and lamb is the best. The pickled purple cabbage was crunchy and salty. The house sauce was creamy and tangy. The perfect paring is that and side of thick fries of course. Parking was easy. Bathroom was not working so had to walk into the sushi restaurant next door, which had no guests. Not gonna lie– it was definitely awkward.

Came here for the boba… left having eaten the döner bowl w fries! Frickin delicious. The Thai boba was very good, but too much ice and light on boba. The döner bowl was the shi*. Just what I was hungry for and didn’t know it. Bed of fries with shaved meat, they gave me 4 sauces to dip, 2 for the fries, 2 for the meat. Owners were super friendly.

Doner so good it made me cry a little on the inside. I have about given up trying to find an authentic doner in CA or the entire US for that matter, but thought these guys are from Germany, plus the location is so fantastic in an area that I shop at all the time anyways, I have got to give them a try and I am beyond glad I did! The first thing that is always way off here is the bread, not at Berlins, the bread was just as it should be, size, shape, taste, how its baked, so dead on I was tranported back to Germany there for a minute, wow! Next it is so hard to find a doner made with lamb here as it should be, and they offer a lamb/beef miz as well as chicken, I sampled both and while the lamb was a bit dry, the chicken was dark meat which I did not enjoy. The sauces and toppings, again DEADON how they should be, from set up to execution to flavor, too good! Priced at $ 9 that is double as in Germany but given location it is fine, plus it was super filling. The fries also tasty, I went with the garlic parmesan(nasty) as well as the curry ketchup(heaven!!) and again right back at home. Not much seating and it was really hot inside, but location is great and they have free parking out front which is rare in the area. They are getting good business which I am so glad about, I wish them all the best and hope they get to stick around forever so I can have this be my regular go to stop every time I am shopping across the street!

It was my first time at this place today; I was in the area so I decided to check it out. I actually used to come here a lot when it used to be boba studio for my boba fix. They still kept some of the decorations and even sell boba here too so it’s not like boba studio completely went away. But it is different, it is a German sandwich shop now after all. When I first stepped in I was greeted with smiles and a «good morning» by the staff. They were very friendly and patient and they even talked me through the menu and let me sample the different sauces which was great(I love it when a place is accommodating and gives great customer service). I ended up ordering their Döner, which is basically a kebab sandwich, with beef and lamb with all the veggies topped with the chef’s special sauce. For $ 8.99 you get a huge sandwich with the works. It was very filling and worth the price. I also ordered myself a boba tea for old times sake. Parking is free and in a private lot which is always great. There seemed to be only two people working there for now so be prepared to wait a few minutes for your food. I didn’t end up waiting too long but it did get pretty busy around the time I went. I don’t mind the wait because they prepared my food well and it tasted delicious too. I will definitely come back to Berlin’s to eat more döners.
