Brian Hirayama and his wife Carrie Suzuki (also a dentist) have the best dental practice I’ve ever been to. Dr. Hirayama is a skilled and very caring practitioner who knows exactly what to do in any situation. My husband has many challenging dental issues, and Dr. Hirayama came in on a Sunday to help him out. I needed a crown done, and Dr. Hirayama used the computer-​driven CEREC system so it only took an hour and half from beginning to end. He, Dr. Suzuki and their staff maintain a family atmosphere and I can say it without a bit of sarcasm — yes, it is almost a pleasure to go to the dentist!

If you need a dentist, Dr Brian Hirayama and his staff, are the best! He is very professional and has the latest in technology as well as a good personality. He has good stories and can speak about almost any subject. He uses a computer to capture x-​ray images and uses 3D imaging in his work. He has a networked milling machine that produces crowns while you wait. I have been going to him for over 20 years and have seen him improve processes and implement new techniques and technology — no foot on your chest with pliers in your mouth, here. His staff is friendly, and both Dr Brian Hirayama and Dr Carrie Suzuki, are both great dentists. They both talk through the procedure so that you understand what is going on and won’t do anything that you don’t want. You can trust their advice and I would recommend you follow it. How often do you have a doctor waiting for you? Never! How about being ready at your appointed time? Almost never! Well, on my last visit, Dr. Hirayama’s entire office
was wondering where I was! I’m one to try to get to my appointments early and with most doctors, it only means I have more time to read all the magazines, cover to cover, and have to start reading the medical literature before going back and waiting some more in an examination room. Not here, if you’re early, pick a short article because you won’t finish it before you’re saying «Ahhhh». They are great with kids, too, kind of a «double edged sword». My children don’t mind a trip to the dentist, even though I try to tell them that they need to brush their teeth and a trip to the dentist, aside from regular checkups, is something to be avoided. I recommend Dr Hirayama to anyone who is seeking a new or better dentist.

I have been with him for over 10 years. His new office in Westchester is easy to get to, was recently upgraded with new equipment, the office staff is friendly, and both Dr Brian Hirayama and Dr Carrie Suzuki, are a dynamite dental team.
I have had two cases where I needed to have crowns on my teeth. I was able to have the crowns in a matter of 1.5 hours (from start to finish). Amazing. Dr Hirayama has a specialized new Cerac crown machine that can build you a crown in a matter of minutes. Imagine a dental crown in an hour, not two weeks.
