Everytime I go to Carl’s Jr. I always say I’ll never do it again. They have me hooked on the chicken strips. I only go about every four months anyways. Went through the the drive thru to order. We were told to pull to the side to wait for the food. The guy brought it out and my husband even tipped him like five dollars. He assured us the extra honey mustard was in the bag. But when I got home it wasn’t there. Another issues was the fries from there are always inedible. We don’t live far and when we took them out they were completely cold and soggy. I guess it’s my fault for eating fast food.

The fries were mediocre and the female cashier there is rude and talks back. Chill, you work at Carl’s Jr.

Ok, i’m always play fair and give people chances. But really? This branch is next to my building. Its the don’t-want-to-wash-dishes-tonight quick option. But seriously, this is the 4th time, I have ordered 1 regular bun burger for my bf and a lettuce wrap option on mine. And even if i s-p-e-l-l it out to them or talk sloooooow to them, i guess the nodding up and down of the cashier is «i am nodding so i can take the next customer» nod. They always, and I mean ALWAYS get in wrong. If it’s not the lettuce choice, it’s the burger itself is wrong. Next time, even when they nod, i’m not leaving until i open each every sandwich box.

I would give this location a negative star after my experience. I went to this location Sunday night a little late. The customer service was nice. And I was hungry. After eating my food and later heading to sleep, I woke up with a funny feeling in the pit of my stomach Monday morning. I don’t normally eat fast food but I needed a quick fix for food. I started get the nausea, then it begins… A whole day of massive vomiting and runs(pardon me). It was horrible!!! I’ve never been that sick. I vomited and other things, around the clock every 20 minutes from 9am — 9pm, with excessive stomach cramping. I had totals my sister to the airport and couldn’t even make it with having to get out and vomit on the sidewalk. The food poison stripped me of most of my fluids and I felt myself slipping away. I am making the phone call to have them please check their product to make sure no one else has been exposed to food contamination the way I have. Sorry for the negative comment. It had to be done.

After waiting an absurdly long time for just fries and a coke, I get to the window and they say they can’t use my card because they don’t always take debit cards. So just avoid this place in general. Dirty as all get out and lines are always too long.

I would first like to say that I love Carl Jr. Breakfast, BUT… This place is one of the most disgusting fast food places I’ve ever been in. There were flies on the counter and floor and the staff is hilariously incompetent. There was a shift leader or manager named Viviana working who was very disrespectful to me and does not know how to deal with customers. I cannot believe this place is allowed to operate like this. Come here if you want slow service, filthy bug infested facilities, and sub par food. Get your shit together Carl Jr.

Sigh… was looking forward to grab a bite from here tonight but to my surprise they closed down the drive-thru due to fumigation. Before me though there was another car who was lucky or persistent enough to get his order taken. Another let down.

I won’t comment much on the food because based on trying the food from other Carl’s Jr restaurants they were basically the same. The breakfast menu is pretty good, especially with the addition of the French Toast item. As for the location, although it’s located in a fairly busy area in Ktown, it was pretty quiet during the breakfast hours. The typical elder crowd was here during breakfast time, but other than that there were not that many other customers. The service was nothing out of the ordinary to me. They took our order, we picked up our order and that was that. Unlike some other customers here, I found the service to be typical of most fast food restaurants.

If there is an option to not give any stars, I would. Worst customer service in LA! I like the branch in Wilshire way better.

This Carl’s Jr. is the WORST! Aside from the fact that I witnessed a stabbing in the parking lot, and a homeless dude’s genitalia while he was taking a shit between parked cars(different nights :)), I just spent $ 15AND15 minutes on garbage food to appease my hangover. The staff treat their duties like a prison sentence, and constantly argue and joke around with each other about customer wait times INFRONTOF customers. By the time I left, my hangover converted to a panic attack. *I* take a shit in the parking lot tonight??? Fuck this place!

I just got home. I ordered a Western Bacon Cheeseburger meal for me and two Jr. Cheeseburger meals for my two sons. Instead of the two Jr ChBurger meals, the confirmation screen showed 1 chicken tender meal. I advised the guy at through the intercomm that the screen doesn’t reflect my order. He said not to worry and it would end up as two Jr Cheeseburger meals. Its late, my boys are hungry and the drive thru line has built up, so i head home. I get home and Sure enough my order is wrong and I’m stuck trying explain to two arguing young boys why one should get chicken tenders when both wanted burgers. No time to head back since their bed time is near. The guys at the register here have no pride in their work.

I come here sometimes when I’m craving a hamburger. The reason for the bad review is because the staff here aren’t really proactive in refilling items. They are really apathetic and don’t realize that customers are sometimes in a rush to get somewhere, and that they are supposed to be a fast food restaurant. I remember it took them a really long time to refill the drink station with cups and there were four customers waiting to get a cup! If you do come here and want to do low carb, I really recommend their chicken breast sandwich protein style. They replace the buns with lettuce. You could do that with any burger actually. The burgers at Carl’s are decent but the service is meh. Even though I live close to here, the service has kind of made me want to eat a salad from trader joes at home instead.

I ordered a breakfast burrito. After receiving my order, they tell me they ran out of hot sauce and salsa. I then asked them what I am suppose to put in the burrito and the worker told me I should have asked if they had salsa before I ordered. This got me irritated so I might have gave them an attitude when I told then that it made no sense because who asks for ketchup before ordering fries? I asked if I can change my food to a different order but they refused. While this was going on I hear the workers in the back calling us stupid chinos. Serious? You are located in KOREAtown. Maybe you shouldn’t call people here Chinese. If you hate Asians that much, maybe you need to move out of LA.

This place is not that bad as the Unilocal rating is. And I don’t wanna complain about a fast food joint that’s open 24hrs(drive through). My order of six Chicken Stars were freshly made at 4:15am. Crispy outside, tender & juicy inside, flavorful & probably the best chicken nugget in a fast food chain. Why didn’t I order more?! :’(

This is the WORST Carls Jr I’ve ever been to! I stopped by this location on my way home to get food for my bf and me. It was 6am today. I ordered 2 famous stars, no onions, no cheese, extra pickles, one of them no sauce, just ketchup. The lady wrote it up right on the screen correctly so I pulled forward. When I got my food, there was mayo on both burgers. I asked her to please change it and she gave me the biggest attitude. «I asked if you wanted mayo and you said yes» she snipped at me. I replied that I said no sauce accept for ketchup on one of them and thats the way she rung it up so I don’t know why she thought no sauce just ketchup meant add mayo. She grabbed the burger out of my hand and brought back another one. This time it didn’t have pickles. I looked at it and asked if there were pickles on it and she rolled her eyes and said«YESSSS there’s pickles on it!» By this point I was just annoyed. I could clearly see no pickles and she was just lying to get me to drive off. I asked for extra pickles on the side because I don’t see any on the sandwich. She gave me a dirty look and stormed off to get the pickles and almost threw them at me. I don’t know why she was acting like I was being unreasonable when all I wanted was my order right. I’ve never dealt with this kind of attitude from someone working in customer service and I’ve seen bad customer service! I can express how rude this woman was. I wasn’t demanding or rude. I just asked if she could fix the mistake and she acted like I made her butcher a cow so I could have a fresh burger. I’m not one to want someone to lose their job because maybe they’re having a bad day but this woman has NO business dealing with customers. The food was old, sloppy and stale tasting like it had been sitting out for 2 days. You can tell the people working there take no pride in their jobs. Either that or they have really bad management. I’ll never go back to this location and I’ll strongly advise against anyone else going there.

Got the western bacon cheeseburger. Came out real sloppy. They charge for using debit cards. Not the greatest Carl’s I’ve been to

I had few too many bad experiences with Carl’s Jr. One time I had a raw fish when Carl’s were serving grill cod sandwich for limited time and all I received was«Sorry». I contacted corporal office and they gave me a number to call but the line was always busy. So forget it. The worst experience was this location on Western and 5th. It really made me want to ban Carl’s for life due to their poor service. I have never experienced such a rude behavior from someone who takes orders from drive-through. Well, this one in Western and 5th made me stop in the middle of ordering and drive pass right by. I didn’t want to go ahead and order because if I got into an argument or give an attitude, they might do something with my food which I didn’t want it to happen. When the customer is taking time to see the menu, you really shouldn’t rush the customer to order especially when there’s no one behind and say«hurry up» giggling. I even kindly mentioned her why she would rush me into ordering when there’s no one waiting. She said right back to me, «Well, if you want me to wait for you than you should ask me to wait.» I was expecting her to say, «Please let me know when you’re ready» but I was really off by miles. This bonehead girl was talking to me like I’m one of her retarded friends. She kept saying«hello», «what you want», «hello» with such a annoying tone. There’s got to be some issues with the management to hire a girl like that. When I said forget about it, she just simply said«Okay». That’s how easy it is for her to run the business in her own way. I’m not sure if the management really even cares about the customers. I wonder how they prepare the food inside if taking an order is this complicated and offensive. The girl in there didn’t give a damn about it so I wonder if the food preparers inside would do the same for the food. Carl’s Jr. really should consider closing this location down or else they’ll continue to ruin the reputation. I get totally different service from McDonald’s few block away from here and I get superb service from Carl’s in my neighborhood. NEVERAGAINTOTHISPLACEANDWHYWOULD I BOTHERANYMORE?

Worst burger ever. I ordered the guacamole bacon burger and had it made to go. This location sits on western and 5th street. I live on 4th street and Manhattan, one block west of Western, so the walk home is a very short one. Opened up my bag and took a bite of a sloppily made burger with guac oozing from just one side and it was cold as heck! Never going there again. The people were indifferent and don’t take any kind of pride in what they’re doing. Gross.

WARNING: BEWARE! Do not come to this location. I ordered a burger. The cashier asked if I wanted the combo. I said I just want the sandwich. I noticed the total on the receipt was a tad more expensive. When I opened the bag, I saw that they had given me the combo. I told them I just wanted the sandwich. The guy said I was just charged 30 cents more for the meal. :\ I opened up my burger. They put the edges of the onion on my burger. The frail stringy bits only. And my burger was salty. Very salty. Don’t come here. I’ve been coming to this particular location since I was a kid, so I can say the decline is apparent from the service and quality of the product they serve.

Most of the time I read these darn Unilocal reviews and I realize that people who post are just to darn up tight, but with this place everyone sure as hell nailed the review. This carls jr assaulted all 5 of my senses, and if their is people with a 6th sense like in that movie with Bruce Willis I’m sure that sense would be assaulted also. This place was sketchy had a morbidly obese security guard a foul stench and was dirtier than a recently soiled pair of baby underwear. The people here hardly spoke English and acted as if the extra buffalo sauce they where giving me was going to be deducted from their salary. (Avoid this place at all cost)
