I’ve never seen this place super busy but the drive thru can give you some trouble. I’ve never had any trouble with staff or the food here. My favorite of all things here to get is the milkshake. The burgers aren’t bad plus the fries are on point. Pulling into this place is somewhat difficult.

Ridiculous service. First the place doesn’t have half of the menu available for order. Second they don’t accept cards. Third, they chase us out because they are closed. WtF. The place is supposed to be open 24hours. Never going there again.

This place is just so neat and organized. I did wish they offered you the buns WELLBAKED/DONE but i had to ask for it myself. Overall great place! Highly recommended

I go here once in awhile only for chicken tenders and green burrito. I tried their coffee once, never again. Drive thru is my mode of entry. I come here during lunch hour and with the traffic on a busy street like Figueroa, it’s difficult(and dangerous) to even make a right turn out of there. The wait in line for my order isn’t long of a wait so that’s good.

Sloppiest excuse for a Carl’s Jr. Everything is under par, even for a cheap fast food establishment

Shady pricing. Their actual prices are almost $ 1.50 more than shown on the drive through menu. They don’t honor the posted menu price. Instead, offering as an explanation, «We haven’t updated it yet. But trust us.» That’s pathetic customer service even for fast food.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. It was cheap and filling. Didn’t taste too bad, either. I still didn’t feel to hot about myself for choosing it but I was in a hurry.

Must be the neighborhood. They had a security guard lady on the inside just hanging out. Um… why do they need security. Is there something I don’t know. Went up to order food and it took a few minutes of waiting before they ended their conversation and took my order. Just need me a Famous Star and i’ll be out of your way. The good news is nobody was rude. Ended up getting myself a semi soggy Famous star to eat and I was gone. Not sure what I was expecting but you wanted my opinion and there it is. Good place for when you are in a hurry and you know what to expect. Wouldn’t be the best place to hangout.

This place is very friendly! Food is awesome and the service depends on time of day! Overall it’s pretty swell!

There’s plenty of other alternatives to this train wreck. Horrible service, mediocre food.

this guy cesar(the morning shift leader) seems to be a dedicated employee, and a hard worker, but he repeatedly delivers poor customer service. i understand that the breakfast rush might sometimes get a bit hectic, and he’s busy running around tryng to make sure work gets done, but he needs to(a) lose the sour pus and(b) not avoid eye contact, it’s terribly off-putting. and try keeping the sugar packets better stocked, and remembering to give customers a receipt.

Food Is Great… Service Is HORRIBLE! I Ordered A Western Bacon Cheese Burger Combo and They Gave Me A Famous Star Combo… I Didnt Realize It Til I Made It Home… I Went Back Immediately and Let Them Know They Gave The Wrong Burger… They Sat There and Tried To Tell Me That I Didnt Buy My Burger From That Location and They Couldnt Give Me A New Burger. I Politely Asked To Speak To The Manager and He Was Nice Enough To Give Me A Fresh Burger, Fries and Drink.

As someone who once worked in a fast food drive-thru, I was taken aback by how RUDE the guy taking the order was. Some friends and I were leaving a meeting at USC and one of them wanted to stop by Carls on the way out. He took a little bit of time figuring out what he wanted in the drive-thru(no one behind us), and the person taking the order verbally rebuked him for it. My friend asked about it when we got to the window and he said«Forget about it. Don’t worry about it.» He was obviously afraid we would ask for the manager. Do yourself a favor and if you’re going to give your money to the evil world of fast food, steer clear of this location.

Flashback: My brother and I(he a Trojan, I a Horn) came to this Carl’s Jr near the USC Campus on the night of January 4, 2006, after coming back from the Rose Bowl. We took it to go, and I had the $ 6 dollar burger, fries, and a drink while watching ESPN highlights. Victory never tasted so good. This must have been how Harold & Kumar felt while downing those White Castle burgers, or NPH felt while tripping balls. And no, Matt Leinart, you did not have the better team. #VY4Life.

Burgers not too greasy but the buns are still soggy from steam and washed veg. Drive-thru acceptably efficient. Standard panhandlers cruise the line without shame. Oh, crisscut fries, what I endure for thee.

In the end, my mushroom burger was tasty, but it would be nice if these people would follow instructions on which condiments to add or not add. I came on a previous visit and found a hair in my fries. But go figure, this is near South Central LA.

Staying at the Radisson down the street, options for eating late night are slim. After a night out drinking with classmates, we decided to stop by here on the way back to the hotel. I normally don’t eat at CJ’s, but I didn’t have too many options. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Burger and the Western Bacon Cheeseburger… didn’t need or want the calories, but I needed something after a night boozing. The Burgers were OK, not great. They seemed like they were prepared too fast… I’ve had better Carl’s Jr Burgers. Will I return? Not unless I have to.

Before I go any further, I have to make clear that this review is based upon my last visit to Carl’s Jr. My former visits are too long ago to remember and add no value to my opinion now, because at that time I was a different man, I am a changed man, that had a relapse for one night. Junk food is BAD, very BAD! «I went late at night, in spite of my personal rules; not to eat after 9pm, not to eat junk food(unless it is an emergency) and don’t waste money on stuff you don’t need.» «Effortless were these rules on the night of April 1, 2009 Yes, April fool’s day, and guess who made a fool out of himself?» «I got the Chili Cheese Fries; Bwah! is this how Chili suppose to look and like? The Six Dollar Bourbon Burger; Nawh! That’s why when a doctor tells you something(talking about the TV commercial) you ALWAYS ask for a second opinion!» The experience I had and the evidence I show; Before( ), and After( ) is indisputable; Junk food is BAD, very BAD!
