I’ve started going to Joe may years ago after a disasterous perm. His shop is located in trendy Los Feliz and the parking is really difficult, but his work is great. He is a master colorist and he works with you in the style. The shop is clean, bright and lively.

I found Joe Casillas close to three years ago, after asking a woman, with a great haircut, who her stylist was, and have had my hair cut by him, exclusively, ever since. I have wavy hair (as did the woman who gave me Joe’s name), and am very cautious and picky. I’ve been able to relax with Joe, who has done wonders with my waves, and has been able to create styles I’ve always wanted, but no one has been able to pull off. He really gets what I want, almost intuitively, and I wouldn’t go elsewhere. Joe’s also a genuinely good person, with good politics, as is his salon partner, Bo (does mainly men’s cuts).
Highly recommended!!!
