I work at an architecture/design firm. Those who work in a design field should know and understand that TIME is of the essence. Deadlines are what makes or breaks projects. It determines if we get the job or not. As for me, it’s whether I get paid or not. #realtalk There are times when I love deadlines because it sets a mode of production that allows me to get work out in a timely matter. But, a deadline can be, mostly is, a d*ck. It will steal all your time. It becomes priority over everything else, including family and health. It’ll drive you insane, especially the last stretch knowing your presentation is due the following morning and you don’t have sh*t to show. You often will feel hopeless. But, if you ever have the chance to work with CDR Graphics, then you know deadlines are just a way to label days to make them seem important than others. In reality, it’s just another day. CDR Graphics has saved my a** numerous times. If you have a deadline and are trying to get your presentation boards, or anything printed, then contact CDR Graphics and let them know your situation. They will work with you directly and help you finish. They are extremely fast, efficient, have manageable pricing, and great customer service. I’ve never had a problem with them. They have been nothing but cooperative with me. I had a presentation the following morning at 9:00 am in Downtown Los Angeles. I had a set of drawings that needed to be completed and printed by the end of the business day, or I’d be screwed and would have to find another source to print. I’d end up spending the night sleeping at my desk, with a molded chronic b*tch face the following morning. I did not want any of that. CDR Graphics was getting ready to close and I didn’t have anything ready. I needed about 60 pages, 24“x 36″, black and white. It was 5:30pm, and I was still working on them. I call CDR graphics right away and tell them my situation. I asked them the latest I could send and pick up the drawings. We agreed 5:45pm. I grabbed my keys, hopped in my car, and started driving. We had 15 minutes to send, print, and pick up drawings from Westwood before they closed. I was driving from Santa Monica in rush hour. I don’t know how they did it, but all 60 pages were printed by the time I got there. They were finishing up the sets and wrapping things up. I cannot be more thankful for all their help. If you have anything that needs to be printed, check out CDR Graphics. They will take care of you. *I had the opportunity to speak with the manager, and also the Director of Sales and Marketing. Great people. CDR Graphics offers a «print-share» system, where you allow and agree to have a printer, provided by CDR Graphics, set up in your business. They have a print tracking system that records all your print jobs, which you can give to your client for reimbursable. It is a more efficient way of tracking what you put in and making sure you are correctly and rightfully paid for the work you do. The paper and ink are provided with the printer, just general overhead and maintenance is required. Call them if you’re interested. They will give you more details. #imjustasatisfiedcustomer
