I have been going to Dr. Chan since I was a child. She is thorough, attentive, personable and skillful. She no longer takes my insurance but I continue to go and pay out of pocket as I cannot imagine going to anyone else. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Chan has been our family dentist for the past 14 years. She is incredibly honest and reliable. Her office has no frills, but that is part if why I like her so much. Her pricing is incredibly fair — which is a big bonus for those of us without Dental Insurance (though she does take insurance). She doesn’t do root canals and complicated procedures — she refers you out for that type of stuff, but she is a great family dentist.

Dr. Chan, while personable, has major failings as a practicing dental professional. Four members of my family have gone to her for several years, including my 80 yr-​old mother and my 8-​yr-​old daughter. Dr. Chan misdiagnosed serious issues with my mom and my daughter. I would DEFINITELY not recommend her to work on any child. (My girl now goes to a wonderful specialist in pediatric dentistry.) In several cases, Dr. Chan’s work was so substandard that another dentist had to redo what Dr. Chan had done improperly or incompletely. Also, I found it annoying and inconvenient that NO ONE else was there to answer the phone or attend to someone at the door, EVEN in the middle of surgery!

I have been going to Lisa for about 26 years now, her services has always been excellent, accomodting of my schedule and I have never had any problems. She pretty much is a one person shop so the dentist is actually the one that does your cleanings. I think this is a plus. I wish my wife could say the same of her dentist, all we have had out of that one is numerous billing problems. I never had a billing problem with Dr. Chan or a billing that showed every service I recieved since I started using her (could you imagine) like my wifes dentist does.
