Charly Choo is NOT a shoe repair place, its a handbag repair shop specializing in aligator that also resales luxury handbags on consignment!!!
I saw this place while zooming past a few times. After thinking about it for more than three months I decided to make a trip to browse and see if anything could be done to a vintage aligator purse that had taken a beating over it’s 40+ year lifespan (broken strap, scuffed and torn side.)
The gal who holds the fort down speaks spotty english, but it does the job. Off the bat I was stoked at the selection of bags, it is vast and good; YSL, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Bottega Veneta etc.
For the handbag repair? It was inexpensive at $ 40, reasonable turnaround at 5 business days and when I picked it up the work was done exquisitely! They also do handbag cleaning, which I want to use soon so I can bring back some oldies but goodies.
Above all this is a gemmy find!
