I work in the area for about ten years now, I come here maybe 3 times a week, it is owned and operated by the sweetest old Chinese lady and her husband(cook) if you ask me the price you pay for the amount of food you get(sometimes she can’t close the lid on the to go plate because of so much food) is the best deal and food around. the couple do what they can for the style of the actual restaurant but they make up for it in hospitality and food. I don’t know what people are talking about, the orange chicken is good 8 out of 10 the teriyaki chicken is 10 out of 10 the rice is good the noodles don’t have veggies but I don’t like veggies on my noodles… rice and noodles and 2sides $ 4. They only take cash which is inconvenient but definitely not a deal breaker. Bottom line good food good price try it if you don’t like it then you don’t but if you do you just found a jewel in the middle of all these clone Korean bbq places around here.

The food is disappointing, not like you would expect much by looking at the food though. I had chow mien, steamed white rice, and orange chicken. The chow mien is nothing but noodles, there isn’t any veggies or anything just noodle. The orange chicken is flavorless! It makes me gag just thinking of it. I only came because I was craving Chinese and it’s a couple store fronts away from my job. It was such a huge waste of 4 bucks.

I decided to try this place only because I drive past it on the way home from work and I’ve been craving fast food chinese. I walked in at 2:30pm and there was one person eating there. but it was empty as I left. Everything looked like it had been sitting in the pans for a day. I paid $ 3.97 for orange chicken, fried rice, and chow mein. Good price for a decent amount of food. She had to stir the chicken around so it wouldn’t be so dry and congealed. The rice and noodles were ok, and the chicken was lacking in flavor. So I poured soy sauce over everything and that made everything better. Probably not going to go back. I read an article about a place a few blocks south called Kay Kay– apparently a good price for an overstuffed styrofoam container and decent food. I’ll probably take the slight detour for that next time.

during 12:00 there was one person in the restaurant and no other patrons coming in and out. It’s ok but Hawaiian BBQ House on 3rd and New Hampshire is much better taste, more choice and more quantity.

Yes, this is a hole-in the wall Chinese fast food place. Think Panda express in style and execution. Despite living a block away for two years, I’ve never been, mainly because… It does look a little sketchy. But the other night, I was broke, and I was craving some Chinese, so I finally broke down and went. You know what? It wasn’t too bad. I think the mantra for these types of restaurants is, «you get what you pay for.» In this case, you pay $ 5, and get either chow-mein or fried rice, and two entrée items(out of a selection of around ten). I tried the Orange-Chicken and Mushroom Chicken. Neither were too bad, although the Orange Chicken could have used a little spice(maybe Sriracha next time?) And the mushrooms for the other dish were a little raw. The chow-mein was generic. However, after 24-hours I can happily report no gastrointestinal issues, which was the make-or-break test.(You’re welcome for being the human guinea-pig, although I make no guarantees for you…) Everything seemed to be loaded with MSG, so be warned if that’s not your thing. Three stars, and I’ll be back!
