Commerce Center Optometry

I’ve been to many optometrists and this has been my best experience. The staff is always very helpful with pulling up insurance and helping me pick out frames. Dr Hong saw me and she took her time and was so nice and knowledgeable. I love my new pair of glasses and will actually wear them from now on. They also have lots of cute glasses to choose from. My coworkers go here now too and they are always happy with their experiences!

A friend of mine recommended this place, so I decided to give it a try. First impressions: nice, clean place, and great selections. One star.
There were some customers ahead of me, but I was still acknowledged. I think we all know that this should be common business practice, and yet, so many places don’t bother. So far so good. Another star.
The optometrist that saw me was Dr. Hong. She was super friendly and oh-​so-​patient. Anyone that knows me knows that if I have questions, I will not be shy about asking them. And trust me, with my prescription, I had a lot of questions. Dr. Hong very nicely addressed my concerns and made sure that I understood everything. And since I finally decided to get into the 21^st century and try out contacts, she also made sure that I knew what I was doing. More stars.
When it came time to pick out my new frames, I got a pair that was similar to my old ones. What can I say? I’m a creature of habit. One of the staff suggested that I try some different frames. She picked out a few for me to try and said that those complimented the shape of my face. I was skeptical, but I tried them on. What do you know? Insert happy emoji here. Not bad at all! Ok ok. They can have all the stars!
Seriously though, this place has great service, the staff is professional and friendly, and they can totally help you pick out frames that suit you. I highly recommend it.

Went here for the first time about 2 weeks ago and will most definitely return. Staff was super helpful and helped me picked out some awesome glasses. The doctor was very patient and super attentive. She explained everything to me and answered all of my questions and concerns. Overall I had a great experience here!!!

1 star for the helpful girls that work there but as far as eyeglasses selection and price I would give 0 stars. I found a pair of Dolce and Gabbana glasses that I really liked and they were $ 360, plus my prescription, everything totaled about $ 670 (doesn’t include tax) that was way outta my budget. But what really made me walk away from this place was that they don’t give you warranty. REALLY??? I’m about to spend $ 700 for some glasses and I don’t get warranty? Wow. Thank god I left and took my money elsewhere because guess what I paid $ 390 (including warranty. Yay!) for the same glasses including my prescription. You would think since this place is in east la their prices would be more reasonable but no it’s not. Mind you where I took my business the place is in West Hills.

I came across this place because I failed my DMV test and needed my form filled out. I just came by to get my form filled but the Dr. Hong actually spent a lot of time to go over the health of my eyes with me and it really showed that she cared. Most places I asked charged for the DMV form but this was complimentary with my eye exam! Very happy with the services heee! Five stars!

Everything went well till the end, i had informed them Medical
Was the form of payment, they said it only covers exam. And since you have your own frames the lens will be 700.00 and because i could give a discount, it would be 550.00, come on for lens only, no frame, i think not. One way or another they will be unfair to their pricing in a low income area.
