Went to this place last night at 6:50 and the chef comes out rudely and said it closed, when it’s obvious it was not. Definitely something shady going on here. Will not be returning to this place.

Ate the chicken saltado for lunch. It was a bit bland. I would have given three stars for meh if it was about $ 8, but it was $ 14 after tax. The portion was large, and it wasn’t bad, but it didn’t have much flavor. The meal came with a large roll and a creamy green dipping sauce.

Found this place on Unilocal.Small, cute place with really good food. We were the only guests in the restaurant at the time so the service and food prep was really fast. We spoke to the chef a little after our meal. He was really nice and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meals. We will be back!

This review is long overdue. I had my first Peruvian food at this place and it didn’t disappoint. I love the green sauce they make and it is so good with the lomo saltado. The service is quick and customer service is excellent. They are always very welcoming.

Went today with a friend and it was delicious! I’ve tried Ecuadorean, Chilean and Argentinian food and let me tell you the Peruvians got the Lomo Saltado on point! They have wonderful customer service and the food came out in a good amount of time, fresh to order. Definitely coming back here.

I’ve been patronizing this place for years and I’ve even become close friends with the owner. He’s a great guy who genuinely cares about his business and he takes pride in what he does. I’ve always enjoyed their dishes and I’d much rather give them my business than any fast food chain. The food is hearty, delicious and authentic. Take your friends there, or order to go but definitely check them out for yourself. Over the years I’ve taken so many people there(co-workers, family, and friends) and everyone loved it. I honestly and wholeheartedly recommend you give them your business. My favorites are the ceviche, the tallarin verde, el bistek pobre, the pollo asado, any saltado, the arroz chaufa, their mango con leche drink, the chicha morada, and their appetizers. And Put the green sauce on everything!

Love, Love, Love this place! First off Im Peruvian so I can attest that this is authentic food. Ive had their Lomo which is generous about 2 times and their ceviche de pescado which is bomb!!! I have also had their tallarines verde with bistec about 6 times now. Everytime I call in my order its always ready within 10−15min. Its always fresh and hot. And I love the two people who always work there. They are super hardworking and sweet people. Dont go to Marios and wait hours! Come here and support this local authentic Peruvian spot! You wont be disappointed.

Food here is mediocre but it’s not bad. Service is just a little slow… And also hard to communicate. Wish I knew how to speak Spanish. The rice is usually hard that’s the only problem but the actual dishes aren’t bad. I’ve had the lomo and also the bistek(do not order the bistek).

Stopped by on a whim. Of course, Lomo soltado is *the* Peruvian dish to get, but I got the parihuela instead, medium spicy. And It’s delicious! I will be returning to try their Lomo soltado.

Very good place. The menus have a lot of chooses and even though the chef was available to prepare a special«fetuccini a la huamcaina con lomo» that was amazing. Also the service was great.

Found this awesome Peruvian place on Unilocal and decided to come during lunch time with my coworker! We ordered the arroz chaufa con mariscos, papa a la huancaina and ceviche! My favorite was the papa a la huancaina! The yellow sauce was so delicious and it had the perfect texture. The ceviche was really good too! However, it was a bit too spicy for me, even though I ordered it mild. The arroz chaufa was ok, it was missing a little bit more flavor! As far as service, the lady who works there was very kind and made some recommendations for us to order. One thing I did notice was the bread we were served with butter was really hard, so hard it was very difficult to take a bite, I just decided to leave the bread alone. The restaurant is located in a small shopping center so they do have a parking lot available, it seems to get packed though.

Little hole in the wall spot but found it via Unilocal. The pics don’t do this place justice but I really enjoyed my lomo and my gf had the bistek(fried steak with onions breaded). She liked her dish and the place itself is very very cheap! They have great service but nobody was also there when we came. Will come back

What a great restaurant. If you’re Peruvian you’ll feel right at home. If you’re not you’re gonna taste flavor you’ll never forget. The chicken is phenomenal but I recommend other items in the menu. It’s all fresh and delish!

I’ve been here many times since it’s right around the corner. My daughter loves the chicken and I usually opt for the Lomo Saltado. The aji sauce is so good but so garlicky! Not a bad thing but not the best date idea. The service is always incredibly friendly and fast. I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes for my meal which is important with a toddler. I’ll definitely be back many more times.

There’s soccer playing in the background. Linoleum on the floor. A smile from the one waitress from behind the window counter that says«Ice Cream Served Here». With the bright sunlight flooding into the small dining area, I feel like stepped into a clean hole in the wall restaurant on the side of the road in Peru. Service was very attentive and the waitress took our orders right away. Behind the window counter, you can see the kitchen and the chef working his magic. I had to Pollo Saltado. The chicken was a bit dry but it was flavorful and pan fried at a nice hot temperature so that the outside was crispy. This could be a nice place to stop by for a casual meal and to very casually watch soccer match they have showing.

Two of us were looking for a Peruvian restaurant and a quick search on Unilocal led us to Con Sabor A Peru. The small interior encompassed six tables, TV, brown tiled floor, and red tablecloths. We were seated quickly and introduced to the menu before a serving of warm bread and aji arrived at the table. The Lomo Saltado($ 12) came with strips of beef stirred fried with onions, tomatoes, French fries, and served on a bed of white rice. Portions were small for the price, but I did enjoy the fact that the food wasn’t overly greasy. The strips of beef were tender and easy to chew, but this dish could use more pop in the flavors if all the ingredients were well integrated. More tomatoes to couple with sharper red onions could be very helpful too, especially for the purpose of deepening the flavors to go in-between beef and the good amount of French fries. The Aji De Gallina($ 10.25) was put together with shredded chicken, yellow sauce, ground walnuts, and a serving of rice. The chicken was well made, but the flavor was again subdued. The sauce also lacked the thick consistency and the level of spiciness could be kicked up several notches. Both dishes were decent, but the absence of several in-between notes in the flavors was noticeable and glaring. Service was warm, personable, and very friendly. Prices were also a bit high when food portions and local competitions are considered. 2.5 stars for the overall experience. This place has so much promise, but unfortunately nothing stood out to us except for the addictive garlicky aji. I really hope this place will improve on their food and make a strong case for me to eventually come back.
