like«invasion of the body snatchers,» the corner pizzeria has been infected and taken over by the alien big mama’s and papa’s. forget it, jim. it’s dead.

Pretty damn good pizza! Had Mexican pizza — crust crispy and you could definitely tell they make that pizza dough really good!

Delicious sandwiches, salads, and most definitely, pizza! :D Awesome place to take the kids — yet it’s the spot to visit for some good food and a chill atmosphere with a group of friends/family. The kitchen is very clean and the food is extremely fresh!

Been here numerous times and always had had decent service and the food has always been somewhat above average. I’ve had their sandwiches, pizzas, salads etc. However my last visit took 30 minutes for my food to be ready… a sandwich, salad, and garlic bread.

Went tonight for the first time as I got a Groupon and wanted to try some neighborhood businesses(shoulda checked Unilocal). I’ll keep it short since other Unilocalers have pretty much covered it. We ordered 2 pizzas and a salad. After about 20 mins my husband’s pizza came out. Second pizza came out 5 minutes later. [Um, aren’t they going inside the same oven? Is there any other food EASIER to time simultaneously than 2 pizzas going into a very wide oven? I think not.] No salad, so we asked. They have an open kitchen [bad idea — keep reading] so I watched them start to make my salad as I was on my last slice of pizza. As we finished I watched a guy shake fries out of a jumbo size bag of what looked a lot like Ore Ida(non-organic) french fries and work the fryer while eating something with his hands [I worked in a restaurant. I know you are chowing down back there, but I don’t wanna see it while you are handling food.] All this would hardly have mattered if the pizza was good, but it wasn’t. I had the Veggie Supreme and it was a mediocre crust, super bland taste with sparse cheese. I smothered it in salt, pepper, Tapatio and chili flakes. Hubs said the Mexican ‘Za was«eh». I came on Unilocal to see if it was an off night, but apparently not. Won’t return.

I’m gonna give this place 4 stars solely for the home made chips… they are out of this world. We came here only because we had a groupon, otherwise it’s too far out from where we live and hang out. We had sweet potato fries(they weren’t that good), some salad I don’t remember(cause it was nothing to remember), bbq chicken pizza, argentine steak sandwich with said chips, and red velvet cake. The pizza was just average, a bit too much bbq sauce for my taste and hence overly sweet. The steak sandwich was nice, but only because I’m a sucker for chimichurri sauce… there wasn’t much meat in it. The cake was very good though… among the better red velvet cakes I’ve tried. The chips tho… OMG…I don’t usually like potato chips but these were thicker than your average chip and well done… super crispy and you can definitely taste the potato… really delicious and addictive. Make sure you try them if you find yourself here!

No… no… NO! 1) When I went to get myself a drink from the soda fountain, upon filling up my cup with either ice or from the tea fountain, there was a piece of MEAT that came out of the dispenser. The piece of meat then continued to float around in my tea… DISGUSTING! 2) My dad ordered sweet potato fries which came to our table in a little wrapped cone in a metal holster. The white wrapping had dirty green stains and splotches all over it… which was odd because nothing in the cone was GREEN. Strike two. 3) Our XL(18inch) Hawaiian pizza arrived at our table fifteen minutes after ordering and was completely bland tasting. I was surprised since it seemed like they used a generous amount of tomato sauce, but taste it was lacking. Despite the friendly service and homely atmosphere, I will not be coming back.

Not horrible but not really tasty either. Used a groupon to try out this small business, and enjoyed the great service from the counter. The place is decorated very homey and has a small business feel. The food however… it just really didn’t hit the spot. The cheese bread was very bland and the veggie pizza was one of the worst I’ve had. I feel like the issue at hand here is actually the sauce. It just didn’t really taste very good. The meat lovers pizza was so-so(better), but the whole ensemble was just bland. I wish them the best, but I won’t be back.

I have walked past this place so many times always procrastinating«I want to try their pizza» but didn’t happen until a couple days ago. It’s a fulfillment of a procrastination and I am sure glad we finally tried their pizza. We ordered the Deluxe 16″, The generous amount of Italian sausage, pepperoni and all the back-up singers on top of this delicious round baked dough sings beautifully in my mouth! The balance of a perfectly baked dough, its accoutrements and flavor just blends well producing a very nice end product which brings delight to hungry guys like me. Yeah It was that good! The very friendly young gal in the counter made the wait bearable even though I placed the order online. I would definitely come back and maybe next time, we’ll try that ginormous 28″ pizza ha! ha!

Waited way too long for our pizza! It was ridiculous. There were other people who got there after us and were served their food before us. The food was average but we were starved by the time our order came. Their menu board is not the best guide to order food from either. Overall service was lousy! :(

I love this little place! I’m here almost every friday with my boyfriend. I always get fries. They taste off… but in an excellent way. I get them with ranch. always. The fries are always hot, crispy, and they taste fresh. I like to get slices of pizza. The first time I ordered a slice, I thought it was pretty expensive. 3, almost 4, dollars for a slice… and then I saw it! It was a great deal! My boyfriend is crazy about the sandwiches. The chicken panini and the philly cheese are delicious. They’re served with fresh chips. Yumm. Go here, it’s totally worth it.

I’m pretty careful with giving out 5-star ratings, but a lot goes into whether or not I really, really like a place. First, I appreciate the options on the menu. Salads, sandwiches, pizza and pasta, plus desserts for a really good price. They offer specials, which are great when you need two completely different pizzas for two people with completely different preferences. Second, I appreciate the quickness of delivery. I was quoted an hour(I ordered off of a website), but I got my food in about 40 minutes. Third, I’m married, and I realize I answered the door barefoot, wearing a giant pink robe and sweatpants, but damn… that delivery guy was hot. And service with some hotness ain’t nothing to sneeze at. I strongly discourage paying any attention to the negative reviews for this restaurant. I thought Highland Park/Eagle Rock was more of a laid back, down-to-earth area, but it’s filled with high-maintenance, long-winded people who leave unwarranted negativity all over local businesses’ Unilocal pages, and it bugs me. This is a pizza place with nice people and good service, not Gjelina’s fine dining(though between the two, I definitely prefer Corner), so don’t hold it to the same standard. If you want yummy food for a cheap price? Order from this place :) I’m tempted to do so, right now.

Well I’ve tried many different Pizza’s from this joint and it’s been hit and miss to what was good or not, so today I came to check out their Breakfast Burrito! So you ask WHY would I go to a pizza joint for a breakfast burrito?, HELLO because they have one on the menu… They actually have a Breakfast Burrito with«Ham and Bacon» I asked for Bacon only, Eggs, Hash Browns and Cheese WOW just full of undercooked potato’s, they use some kind of machine to slice their potato’s as they resemble small fettuccini noodles and were NOT browned, bacon was nice and crisp but I really expected more since it was supposed to come with ham & bacon, their was so many potato’s I even had to hunt for the eggs, and they were scrambled horribly burrito was dripping oil from what I «Assume» was the attempt at BROWNING the potato’s. Seriously one of THEWORST Breakfast Burrito’s I’ve ever had. 1-Star Breakfast Burrito 1-Star Previous Pizza Review 3-Stars New Average 2-Stars

I’ve come here every once in a while and every time I’ve been greeted by the friendly employees. I usually stop by on my drive home around 4PM, when there are only two other parties there at most. Their giant slices of pizza vary in quality day to day, but for the most part I’d say they’re worth it. As for their chicken tenders, they have a lot of breading and have a slightly«burnt» taste to them even though they aren’t. As a fan of chicken tenders, I think they taste great.(: Good tasting food? Great customer service? Great décor + cleanliness? I would’ve given them 5 stars if it weren’t for one incident where the chef completely forgot my order. I had been kept waiting for 3 chicken tenders and 1 giant slice of pizza for half an hour while the cashier kept reassuring me that it’s coming. When the cashier stepped away to help a table, I inquired about my order and the chef replied with an «oh shoot…» I had been waiting for 20 minutes for food that wasn’t even cooking! Ridiculous! Luckily he saved my wrath by giving me double the amount of chicken tenders I ordered. Good enough. So minus 1 star for that. Overall, Corner Pizzeria has a very friendly staff and their pizza is delish~ They even hold little pizza making classes for kids every once in a while!

This place is another good but not great place… to go to in the great neighborhood of Eagle Rock. It is more like a 3.75 stars. The pizza are New York style, meaning thin crust with a huge cut. I really like the spinach and broccoli pizza but if you aren’t huge on veggies, there are many options for the pizza enthusiast. They also have really tasty sandwiches with a variety of sides. They have very good salad and wings as well. It is good quality food and the prices are ok, but it is a good place to go with friends to share. They have tv’s and great workers. I recommend this place to try when you are in the mood for pizza that is not your average slice but be ready is pay more than usual.

Less than average. I don’t know why I paid so much for something that tastes so … eh. 1. I usually buy thin crust and am a fan, but this place didn’t do anything for me. 2. There are so little toppings 3. The toppings were not good at all. 4. Even though there were an abundance of topping choices, they all fell flat. After I tried Corner Pizzeria, I ate Maruchan Ramen b/c I was still hungry and extremely unsatisfied. Go to Folliero’s.

This place is quickly becoming my favorite spot in Eagle Rock! The prices are fair, ingredients are fresh & organic too! Here’s what I’ve had thus far and can stand behind: –Hawaiin pizza(thin crust) –Buffalo Wings Ya ya I know, this is pretty limited, but they’re so good I really don’t wanna try much else.

My cousin and I rode here today because we didnt know what to eat for lunch, well it was more like I didnt know what to eat because he suggested in grabbing Peruvian chicken but I wanted to try some place new. He brought up this place and my brother had already been here too, so we headed down over here on our bikes. Clean place I may add and the menu is not bad at all. I would say the prices are reasonable. My cousin grabbed a bbq chicken pizza and a cannoli while I ordered a regular kapouri myself. Wow their slices are HUGE and my kapouri was large itself. the food was good and I saw the sign on the table that stated this establishment had their own pizza challenge… I think I’ll be back and have my picture taken for the Wall of Fame… rules are you have to eat a 28″ pizza all by yourself within 45mins and you only have one cup of water…

3.5 stars. Wow, this place has the thinnest crispy crust pizza I’ve ever had! Ordered a half margherita + pepperoni one. The peperoni was better because the tomatoes on the margherita made the ever so thin crust soggy. $ 20 for a 16″. A tad pricey in my opinion — it does leave you satisfied but also… still slightly hungry. meh. But otherwise, very good pizza — really wished the crust was slightlyyyy thicker. They also serve salads, sandwiches, breakfast, dessert and some pasta stuff. Great service. Oh…they serve gluten free pizza too! Which is nice for those who can’t eat gluten. This place reminds me of Ortega’s in Pasadena, minus the rubber chicken… and the red button of doom. ;) That and the college students. :) I had no idea Eagle Rock had so many restaurants on Colorado!
