I’m not sure if this place closed or not now, but I really liked it, even though the service was too slow if there were many customers.

FYI: They’re closed right now for remodeling. I found out after I had gotten through 25 minutes of west LA traffic. I wish it hadn’t said«open» on the Unilocal page, or they mentioned it on their website(I checked both before showing up). Maybe they did post it somewhere and I just couldn’t find it. I’m excited to try it once it’s opened again, and I will update my review! As of now, I’m disappointed that it was closed and it was not made evident on this page.

I am always weary of places that have too many different cuisines but I love this place! The food is affordable and tastes awesome. I haven’t been here for happy hour yet but would love to try it because the menu. Chips and salsa are solid and come at the beginning of the meal. I ordered chicken tortilla soup today. It was creamy and pretty good. I wanted a little more lime and maybe for it to by hotter but that’s just my preference. Breadstick that came with it is delicious. Now to my favorite part, the grilled vegetable panini. I am a carnivore but this panini was the best thing ever. My sister had it the first time we went and gave me half. It didn’t disappoint this time either. Bursting with flavor and melted cheese. Parking sucks but service is good.

Awesome place. Came with a party of 5 and our waitress was super attentive, making sure to refill our chips and salsas as well as asking us how our food and drinks were. Most of our group got tacos(fish and chicken). I opted for the chicken burrito with a side salad. That salad could have been a meal on its own, it was huge! Loved every bite of it. The burrito was awesome too, grilled and cut in half. Check them out!

My best friend: «How does this place stay afloat with such large portions and cheap prices?!» Me: «Because the food is delicious and the service is awesome!» For the record, I am not biased-just better informed. Come and you’ll be informed as well. This place is top notch and will have you coming again & again!

I enjoyed the food here, but the service was horrible. No one checked up on us, we had to keep calling them over for water and things. The food took a long time. Also, the place was very messy and unorganized. There were boxes on the bar, the tables didn’t have table settings and no salt and pepper.

Amazing food. Try the nachos, all the kabobs, the romaine avocado salad, the taziki. All very very good. I personally like my meat medium so MAKE sure to ask otherwise it will be cooked on the well-done side. The serving sizes are ridiculously huge and the prices are really low. Happy hour every day after 3 pm until closing. Margaritas for $ 4 and nachos for $ 5. Can’t beat the value. The atmosphere is good. Only comment to management: the service can be slightly inconsistent and pretty slow. Also, please listen to customers’ comments about how they want the meat cook. Not everyone likes well done. If these two aspects improve then this place is perfect.

They changed their name, not location. Here is a copy of the original review: 2nd Review(Updated) After my last review someone must have noticed because this time food came out perfectly. The remodel of the outside looks great and the menu changes are great too. Keep up the good work. Now all you need is an amazing dessert! 1st Review: Food is pretty good and prices are great. If it wasn’t for the service I would give it 4 stars. Chicken Kabobs great and huge portion. Chicken Nachos pretty plain but not bad for happy hour. Pulled Pork Sliders were ok but a bit dry. We also ordered a chicken kabob to go and I specified that I would like the side salad in a separate container because obviously if you put salad in the same container as hot rice and hot chicken it will become gross and wilted plus the fact that if you want to warm it up later it’s pretty inconvenient most nice restaurants will do this automatically but I thought I would ask anyway. The girl looked at me like I was crazy and said of course it comes separate. However when the salad came out it was in the same container next to the rice and when I asked again if it could be put in a separate container she said it is separate it’s not touching the rice. Then she looked very annoyed as she took the food to the back and separated the salad which was already all warm. Service: We sat at the bar both times. The one thing I really don’t want to hear while I’m about to order my food and eat is how much tips you’ve made for the night and both times the waitress or bartender has been discussing with the other workers how much tip they have made for the day and how disappointed they have been because the business is so slow this happened with two different employees weeks apart. On top of that the first time the guy came out of the kitchen ordered a beer next to us at the bar in his work clothes still and counted his tips in front of us complaining to the bartender. Now yes it is a new place and I’m sure it will get busier with time but it is very very dead in there to make it worse they have a valet standing in front that no one uses because there is plenty of street parking all the time. Also we both work in places that love to go to happy hour however we have been hesitant to recommend this place because it is so dead it doesn’t really have the happy hour vibe going yet. I’m not sure if it is the owner or manager but they are always sitting in there at a table near the bar on a laptop I’m assuming doing some kind of work which is also pretty odd. Again we live around the corner and will probably go back because the food and prices are really good they just really need to work on their service.

They just changed their name, so I’m copying and pasting my old review here: «This place is perfect in every way! Cheap, delicious, large servings. Also, the staff was so nice. I got ceviche and the veggie burrito and house margarita– all were amazing! My friend got the chicken kabob, he says it was flavorful and juicy. We both agree this place was a pleasant surprise and we can’t wait to come back for more»

We were sat at a table, and it took about 10 minutes for someone to bring us menus. 20 minutes later, we ordered food and drinks. Unfortunately, I can’t review the food because we never got anything after waiting for more than an hour! Nobody even came to check on us — we had to hunt people down. After being repeatedly told that the food was on its way, we finally got up to see what was happening. Finally, the waitress admitted that she forgot to put the ticket up, and that she just did it — after an hour! We spoke to other customers, and nobody else was being served either. We got up and left — they barely even noticed. Such a joke. Good luck.

New restaurant with a large wine and liquor selection. Gourmet food without the high price. Friendly staff. All the right ingredients for a great dining experience.

This is a very pretty restaurant with mediocre food. The portions are ridiculously large but I would rather have better quality. They bring chips & salsa to the table but I am sure the chips are from a package. We ordered the filet mignon kabob and it comes sliced thin. The meat was flavorful but the grilled vegetables were under cooked. The rice was bland and the salad was as well and I love salad. We did order the tiramisu for dessert and it was delicious but very rich and sweet. Our waiter was very nice and did his best, but in general, the wait staff is not trained for fine dining. They did not clean the table prior to dessert. We had to ask for new set ups as well. Maybe the Mexican food is better than their Mediterranean.

Visited here on a Sat night. Our waitress Missy was terrific. She was cheerful, very energetic and brought us everything in a timely manner. Come to think of it all the servers/staff were great!!! The portions are large so you definitely leave feeling full. I had the chicken kabob and my friend had the koobideh. The chicken was moist and delicious. The koobideh lacked seasoning and tasted mostly of just cooked beef. I think a little salt and pepper and turmeric(normal middle eastern spices for kabob) would have been great. All in all it is a good place to stop by for large portions and inexpensive foods. This is no gourmet by any means but still good! I would come back.

I’m so glad I got to check this place out. Great location, small restaurant in size, but I liked the intimacy, and a fantastic value. At first I was hesitant to see mexican fused with mediterranean and italian cuisine but then I realized hey those are 3 of my faves! We had the chips and guac(yum) and then I had the stuffed pepper, which came with salad, hummus, and tzatziki sauce. And let me explain… this was a HUGE plate with tons of food… all for $ 6?! YES! What a value! And btw that stuffed pepper is from their main menu… they also have a happy hour which I believe goes til 9pm. My friend ordered the shrimp tostada which came 2 to the plate and she said they were really good. Some of the other gals ordered the salmon kabob plate and it was also HUGE! We were a group of around 15 gals and they accommodated us no problem. I’m docking 1 star only because parking can be a challenge, which isn’t really their fault but you should know to allow some time to park on the street and walk over.

We decided to give this restaurant a try… and was not disappointed. Good food, friendly staff, nice ambiance. The salmon kabob was amazing. Evereything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great menu options. The only thing i would improve would be the happy hour menu. Pretty weak happy hour food and drink options.
