So cute !!! There us to be a fire station and now it’s a fire station theme park. This area definitely needed a park !

PROS: Great small new park! My son LOVES it! It’s clean and quiet. CONS: No bathrooms. ! The only time to bring the little one is after 6 – 6:30PM(summer time). Otherwise, way too hot. Wish they would install a shade over the firetruck. Hence the 4 stars. UPDATE: they have since installed a GREAT shade! Yaaaaay! 5 stars now!

Very fun, very clean. The entire park is small and completely gated — which I appreciate given that I have two small children and a third on the way. That makes it feel very safe. Street parking but not hard to find a spot. Has lighting and security cameras, although the lights never came on. Closes at dusk, so the gate locked at 8 p.m. Water fountains, picnic tables and plenty of seating. The ONLY reason I’m docking it one star is because there are no bathrooms. Maybe the parks & rec department expects you to use the bathroom at the gas station next door? Otherwise, love it. We’ll be going back.

(+) It recently opened and word is spreading about a fire truck playground! It has lots of slides and interactive stations on it, cool design. For kids who love cars and trucks, it sure seems pretty fun. (+) Nice new benches, swings, water fountains, grass and lots of space. It is all fenced off which reduces a lot of dangers with the adjacent busy streets (+) Transformation from an old abandoned fire station to another place that serves the community. Great use of $ instead of another parking lot. (+) Location is south of Ventura blvd on Canoga Ave. and Constanso St. It has a red fence all around so you can’t miss it. Plus the fire truck makes it obvious too. (+/-) Street parking only but it’s not that bad. We parked by the preschool down the street.
