Chicken pesto panini, a bag of chips and drink for $ 17.16. Food was delicious here but the price was ri-donky-lous. Especially for the portion. But then I was at the airport so what do I expect? I think next time I’ll spend half and go to Micky D’s.

In terminal 5, the options available aren’t that many… But really this one isn’t bad. It’s a tad pricey for what you get, but that’s expected for food in an airport. Had the sausage bagel which suprisingly was good… Simple but had scrambled egg, a sausage patty, and cheese. Definitely a filling choice and speedy.

As soon as i bit into the rock hard cheese danish, refund came to my mind lol. But its food. And as soon as i slurp the OJ, more refund came to mind. $ 8.01. $ 4.04OJ, the rest is rock hard cheese danish. I should have followed my heart to stick with mcdonalds. Sigh. Refund? Pls?

It’s standard airport food — I had the Pollo panini, which is grilled chicken, red onions, lettuce, sundried tomatoes, and dijon mustard. Sounds tasty, right? Well, it’s standard airport bland, but probably tastier and at least marginally more nutritious than anything on offer at McDonald’s, the other option in Terminal 5. Service was friendly, earning this otherwise mediocre place three stars rather than two. Still, I can’t wrap my mind around the fact that I just willingly paid $ 3.91 for a 16.9 oz bottled water.

When you travel light, that means you have a lot of crap to carry and attend to while waiting at the gate. This place is just across Gate 51A, I wanted cappuccino so bad, scanned the nearby cafés most have long lines. My carry ons were heavy so I decided to just get my cappuccino and something to eat here. The cappuccino was alright but didn’t like the croissant. It was too greasy for me.

Chicken club on a croissant, seems like a good snack so I went for it. Yes, it’s an airport quick serve so you know what you are getting. Many people during rush times, they may forget your order or get it wrong… but if all goes well, you may end up with a pretty decent sammie… for $ 10, ha! The chicken club was pretty tasty, only thing I would change is that the bacon was cooked better, but hey, it’s fast airport food.

I would go further into the terminal and get Mickey D’s. This place is way overpriced for surprisingly unoriginal greasy croissants. The ham and swiss cheese croissant was soggy with grease of butter and my wife and I felt sick after we ate them. It was over $ 50 for 3 croissants, 2 cereals, 2 coffees, and one juice. Way overpriced.

The people are very nice. You can get a naked juice or a water at the normal ridiculous airport prices. The eggs dishes do use eggs– they use some disgusting liquid egg paste wall plaster garbage that makes your stomach say: what the fuck did you just eat? C’MON creative croissants can you use some damn eggs in your egg dishes? How about you advertise them as liquid egg substitute wall plaster burritos? See how many sell I got my money back but I’m not sure about the 5 months I shaved off my life for eating some of that crap

I wanted something a little«healthier» so I decided to get a wrap here. Wrap was okay, nothing spectacular, but it did the job. It was about $ 10 for a wrap and and the staff was okay.

If you find yourself in Terminal 5, this place has good coffee but crappy pastries.

Looked to me like Creative Croissant was the best option in Terminal 5. Of course I had to try a croissant and see if they were creative. I had a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. For what it is in an airport it is pretty good. The croissant is huge and for airport prices $ 7.60 isn’t terrible. All the ingredients are three star quality but it should fill you up and beats McDonalds for sure!

This isn’t the worst breakfast I’ve had in LAX, but is damn close. Just spendier. I’d actually rather McDonalds, to put it in perspective… and, oh by the way, I hate McDonald’s in Terminal 5.

was in a rush for a quick bite during a stop-over at LAX. got the tuna wrap and it was pricey. satisfying but not great. airport food… you have to eat it. kind of like hospital food… you can live on it, but it doesn’t taste that great.

after studying the menu for a while: me: hi, i’d like a tuna croissant please croissant maker boy at the counter bends over to the fridge, pulled out an unknown branded bucket of tuna salad, scooped, and smushed it between 1 hecka stale piece of croissant. oh, and there were raisins in the unknown tuna salad. me no like raisins. it was 7 in the morning, one hungry leading to angry asian girl, i ate more of that nasty croissant than i should for my own good. should’ve stuck with mcdonalds like the rest of my family :(i lost to some not so creative croissants.

My flight was at 2:20pm so when I arrived hungry at this terminal I cruised around for a snack. I came across Creative Croissants… strange name as the only thing that seemed appetizing was a bagel. I got a cream cheese bagel and I wanted honey. I think I was able to score some at the condiment counter as I’m pretty sure they didn’t have any little packets. I didn’t care for my meal but I remember it was only a few bucks and that is cheaper than most meals/snack at any airport. Funny thing is, I ran into my friend Becca here(well we got dropped off together and then went our ways but ended meeting back up here)… as we said our final goodbyes of our trip and I walked slowly to my gate… I realized that the door was shut. My flight took off at 2:02pm not 2:20pm… Who the F decides to schedule a flight for 2:02pm!!!

My breakfast burrito was good but the coffee was bitter and way too hot. The cup and straw/stirrer collapsed on me from the heat.

Don’t eat anywhere else in LAX; this place is the best! I ordered«The Natural,» which is a sandwich containing swiss cheese, bean sprouts and avocado. I chose to have it made on wheat bread. I also indulged in a chocolate croissant, and I purchased a small orange soda. My total came to just over $ 10. The food was amazing; I watched them make my sandwich fresh. The croissant had the perfect amount of tasty chocolate. The soda hit the spot. It could be that I was just really hungry and really tired from all the traveling. It could be that the place smelled better than any of the other restaurants I passed by. Whatever it is, I know I want to come back again and have some more. MMM!(That’s right… 3 capital ‘M’s’. It’s that good.) Note: There is no seating inside the place, so you have to take your food with you.

Of all the places in Terminal 5, this seems to be one of the better ones. Now, I know all airport food is pricey, but this seemed reasonable to what I purchase in the Bay. I don’t recommend getting any pre-made sandwiches because there’s no telling how long they’ve been there. What I do recommend, however, is order one of their grilled sandwiches like the tacchino that I had. The tacchino was simple: grilled, swiss, turkey, red onion, lettuce, sun-dried tomato, and honey mustard. It was really good for airport food; especially since I had almost caved and went to McDonald’s thinking there was nothing in this terminal worth trying. If you find yourself here, order a grilled sandwich and maybe a cookie if they’re freshly baked. Then if you have more time head down to. umm. I can’t remember the name of it but it’s near gate 56 I think. They have good drinks. ;-)

lucky me gets to go on a fun filled, all expenses paid trip to park city utah! and stay at the fabulous canyons resort! only problem was, it’s a business trip that will last less than 24 hours with no time for fun on the snow covered mountains. but none of this matters. we’re at LAX and someone says, «let’s eat here.» i blindly obey. just another over priced airport food spot filled with every disappointment you can imagine. i opt for the $ 7 breakfast burrito. i felt bad ordering it because i knew it would suck. we go sit at our gate and i enter airport burrito land. eggs are bland, cheese is bland, is that bacon? yeah but that’s bland. meh. it filled my belly and that’s all that matters in the end. i was tired enough that this didn’t ruin my day. still better than the crap they serve at mcdonalds.
