Food is okay but the waitresses here are pretty bad and rude. I went there on monday around 7 pm. They got no smile or welcoming attitude. Not just one of them but all of them. Its like they dont want you there. They try to take your plates away even though there is still food on the plate. Putting my fork doesn’t mean that im done eating !!! or can you at least ask if im done with the food or not? So rude. My friend had 1⁄3 of her food left on the plate and they didnt even ask her if she wanted any togo box for the leftover. I rather go to the one in little tokyo Same food better service

Best Japanese curry restaurant. Their food is so good. They have different levels of spicyness that you can choose from. They also have different options for rice which can make the dish a little different. It’s a nice place to eat and go watch a movie upstairs in cgv.

What do I do about these Japanese curry cravings that keep attacking?!(ō_o) I eat curry, of course! \(^o^)/ Rather than head to Little Tokyo, I took advantage of my location and headed the opposite direction to the Curry House at the western end of Koreatown. I was tempted to get the gyūkarē(beef curry), and I even toyed with the idea of the torikatsu(chicken cutlet), but darn it — I like my good ol’ katsukarē with yummy tonkatsu(panko-breaded fried pork cutlet)! This time, I got it hot, and although it’s still not quite as spicy as CoCo Ichibanya’s regular, it was more to what I like than the medium.(Spice freaks better start at no less than extra hot.) Yum! I also caught that it’s made with cashew butter?! Crazy. And tasty! Again, Curry House makes wonderful katsu — not hard, not greasy, just textbook perfect katsu. And that salad dressing — why didn’t I buy a bottle? It’s a kind of miso and mustard dressing that’s really good. The service was great, the food was delicious, and I was happy. Hooray! Curry House! I live right between two! So awesome… /(@0@)\

They messed up our order. Gave us wrong and missing items. We called to try and resolve the issue thinking we could just exchange the food we got with the one we ordered, but they refused to believe us insisting that they didn’t make any mistakes. I don’t think it’s right to yell at your customers when all they wanted is what they paid for.

Wow this place was underwhelming to say the least. I had the chicken curry dish and the chicken tastes boiled over and flavorless. The curry paste was overly sweet and tasted more Indian than East Asian. Lastly, the price was a little expensive for what is in effect mediocre food – all in $ 16.50 for a curry dish. I’d recommend you skip this place.

This is the easiest place to go eat when you’re waiting to watch a movie at CGV. Located directly underneath with plenty of seats and good food if you’re into curry. The only problem I have is the price of the dishes here. They used to be much cheaper before the all the prices were boosted up out of nowhere. The chicken breast Katsu curry is the safest choice to go with. The curry is perfectly spiced and sweetened to go along with the crispy Katsu and rice. It’s going to run you about $ 15. In case you have a hungry stomach I would refer the house platter dinner for about $ 11. This’ll give you fried onion rings, shrimp, and a bunch of other fried tempura goodies to dip in your leftover curry.

Two comforting words for pasta lovers who feel guilty overloading on carbs: shiritaki noodles. These are tofu based noodles that only have 40 calories per serving! For all noodle dishes you have the option of swapping regular noodles for these healthy, low calorie noodles. I ordered the seafood marinara dish with shiritaki noodles and it was excellent! The marinara consisted of fresh tomatoes simmered down and sauteed with garlic and spices. The shrimp and the white fish were fresh. The biggest winner of the meal was the shiritaki noodles-with the bursting flavor of the marinara sauce you could hardly tell that the difference in the noodles. Location-restaurant is in an H Mart mall. It is located on the 3rd floor. Menu-super extensive menu. Includes pastas, rice curry dishes, mini hot pots, katsu, soups, salads, etc. Overall-Besides my excellent food experience, the service was top notch. Our waitress checked in on us frequently. Our food was prepared and served to us in about 5−10minutes. The ambiance of the restaurant both inside and outside are nice and sleek. The menu is super extensive, and I will definitely return to try other items. TIPS Tip 1-Order a meal special. For a couple of dollars more, you can add soup or salad to your meal. Tip 2-After your meal, get your parking pass validated by the cashier. You’re entitled to 2 hours of parking FREE. Otherwise you’ll pay 1.50 every 15 minutes up to $ 12 for all day parking.

I’ve tried the pork katsu and chicken breast katsu and they are both good. I believe the pork katsu is $ 13.75 and the chicken breast is $ 13.25. There’s nothing great or bad about this place. It’s just decent. There’s different levels with the spiciness on the curry: mild, medium, and spicy. I’d say the medium is the perfect amount of hot. It’s not too mild or too spicy. They give A LOT of rice than you need, so if you try eating the whole plate, you’ll definitely be very full. I struggled finishing from just the katsu! The servers are friendly and this restaurant is just a 4 star restaurant.

I’ve been here before many times but first time writing a review. It’s been a while since the last time I was here so I forgot what I previously ordered. Just recently though, I had the hamburger patty curry with the sunny side up egg on top. The food came out fairly quickly and could tell that it was cooked right to order. The patty itself was moist and cooked well. On top was a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg. Ate that with the rice and the spicy curry and it was a pretty good combination. My wife had the chicken katsu curry and of course I tried out some of hers. Although I found the chicken to be a bit too on the thin side, it tasted okay with the curry. Will be back if wanting japanese curry!

I’m not a huge face of curry, but I love Curry House! I’ve been to couple difference locations, and they were all consistent in quality and flavor. I usually go to the ktown location because it’s closest to my home. During lunch hours, you might have to wait a little, since this plaza is a popular location during lunch hours. Their service is always prompt and food comes out fairly quickly. I always order the same thing: Chicken katsu(chicken legs) with HOT curry. The HOT level is not too spicy for me. If you want extra hot, you have to pay 25 cents extra. This dish comes with rice and salad. The only downside is the parking structure. It can get limited during peak hours, but it’s free with validation.

I got the deluxe pork curry and the tarako and ika spaghetti The deluxe was pretty good but the pasta was disgusting. It stinks and doesn’t taste how it’s supposed to taste. Also, a garlic bread is like $ 1 extra LOL. The service is confusing. They’re kind of nice? But at the same time they’re pretty rude. We asked for hot water twice and the last time we asked them for it, they cut us off and said OK.

Japanese curry is definitely one of my favorite comfort foods. I’ve probably been to 3 different Curry Houses, the one in Cupertino, Torrance and now the ktown one. What I like about the Ktown one: — Brown rice is amazing. I love the mixed grains and the beans in it. I’m a fan of stickier kind of rice. — Service is really good too! — Food is good. Probably similar to the other chains I’ve been too. — Interior seating is limited, but cozy. I usually get the Chicken Katsu curry, but the last time I went I got the Chicken Curry Plate because I wanted the soup and extra sides that it came with. The corn potage is so good! I think this is my new favorite location! :)

For the amount of food you get, the price is definitely not worth it. I got the chicken katsu curry, which is the most typical/ordered item they have, and I wasn’t completely satisfied after finishing it. I don’t consider myself to eat that much too… so if you’re a guy who eats a lot, that one dish won’t satisfy you. Their curry is not spicy(for someone who does not eat spicy at all), so if you usually get mild then get medium. My bf was so disappointed with his curry because there was no spice in it and he kept calling it tasteless. Service was alright, they didn’t really check up on us and it took a while for us to get the check. Overall, this isn’t a place I’d come back to or be craving. Plus the whole parking situation is terrible here… absolutely hate this parking structure.

I still feel a little odd eating Japanese food in K Town… but we did not plan the evening well… and were rushing to get to a show at the Wiltern, so this is where we wound up. Sue me. The crowd had a lot of families and couples and everyone seemed to be happy… and why not… the portions are big and the prices are reasonable. I got the Tofu And Ground Chicken Curry(lots of Clove flavor) and served with the Garlic Spinach Rice… Very filling and tasty. My buddy got the Keema Curry Rice with onions, mushrooms, carrots and potatoes and a soft boiled egg. This was also good and would be the perfect winter meal… so hearty and stew like. We each got a house salad with the ginger dressing… and the corn soup, which was a bit bland and needed a lot more kick. The pickled condiment on the table… blanking on what it was… was so delicious I could have eaten that by the jar… and I think we did. Other than a little kick back the next day, this was pretty good and I would try it again… Though we will definitely have to put the K in K Town on our next trip to the Wiltern!!!

The first time I ever tried Curry House was in Little Tokyo few years ago and ever since then I have been in love with Curry House. When Curry House came to Koreatown a few years ago, I was ecstatic. I have been frequenting this location ever since. When it comes to Curry House, I am normally a creature of habit. I always get the chicken breast katsu with a salad. You can choose the spiciness level and I normally get it medium. Their spiciness level is not that spicy so even though I am a weak sauce when it comes to spicy, the medium is perfect for me. I also love the pickles that are on the tables. There have been a few times where I have eaten the entire container and then asked for more. I picked up my meal today, but I normally eat at the restaurant. It is in the same plaza as CGV theater. I DESPISE the parking lot here. The parking entrance is on Manhattan Blvd.(although the address is in Western, the parking entrance is on Manhattan). The spots are small and the ramps are so tight that I am genuinely terrified that someone is going to crash into me as I go up. I feel like I am on the set of Fast and the Furious as I maneuver around the parking lot. Best tip is try to go to a floor in the parking lot where it is relatively deserted and then park rear first into the spot. You will definitely appreciate when you leave because if you try to back out when there is cars, in this parking lot it’s almost impossible. Ok, I just spent a paragraph talking about the parking situation here. But, Curry House is awesome for curry katsu but park at your own risk.

If you are in the mood for curry and rice — look no further! Go to Curry House! Their chicken breast Katsu is so good, and extremely filling. The plate comes with chicken, the option to get it with white or brown rice, [brown rice for $ 1 more] and it comes with a side salad. Order their plates to share… or just take a stab at finishing the whole plate while anticipating a massive food coma. I’ve also tried their tofu and ground chicken curry. Another extremely filling plate and really tasty! Their tofu is the perfect amount of fluff and softness. Service is quick and efficient at this location — located on the 2nd floor of the H-Mart plaza. They also offer parking validation if you need it!

If you’re in this shopping plaza for whatever reason and suddenly feel famished, Curry House will suffice. I’m a big lover of Japanese curry, and crispy katsu, so eating here is a no brainer. However I’d have to say that the medium spicy chicken katsu curry plate I’d gotten, which comes with white rice and a salad, was just slightly above average. The curry was lacking a bit in flavor and was mild for medium spicy(it could definitely have used more spices or seasoning), and the chicken katsu wasn’t quite as crispy as I like. For those two reasons alone I say there are better Japanese curry houses where I’d rather eat. Service was acceptable but a bit slow. In general, nothing here stood out to me as great. However, this may be convenient and the menu has something for everyone, although you may not feel satisfied for your tastebuds or your money’s worth.

I love Japanese curry, and Curry House has always been a place I know I can always get good, heart warming, spicy Japanese curry. The portions are great, the restaurant looks like something out of an animé café, the prices are really good(also they email out 20%-25% coupons if you sign up on their website), and they always have interesting specials. This month was their NY Steak month, and they had fried, crunchy NY steak options which looked awesome. However, I was planning on going to Kbbq the next day so I passed. Instead I got the pork katsu with rice omelette curry spicy, something I haven’t had in a while. It was as good as I remembered, with the rice pilaf tasting delicious bite after bite especially mixed with the curry which also provided an extra kick of spiciness. The sliced and battered pork offered an excellent crispy contrast to the soft egg and rice. This place is especially easy to get into, as they offer free valet parking which gives you 3 hours. It’s right on top of Daiso, which is good to go to afterwards as you can easily find a quality deal for $ 1.50. Coffee or pastry at the nearby Tom N Toms, Beard Papa, Paris Bakery is convenient and compelling.
