overall 2 stars I’m being very generous. Because I believe they have the potential to be better. I frequent this location because it nearest to my house & to get my disabled brothers medication. |the pharmacy| SLOW& sometimes unprepared. I’ve had problems confirming insurance & bigger issues with trying to get prescriptions that Ive filled out for years at another location to transfer over to this location. Not anyone’s fault in particular who knows their procedures but on a patient this can be very inconvenient. To this day there are prescriptions that I drop off in the Other location because they could not get it together here. Lack of urgency, Ive dealt with many cvs pharmacies this is not uncommon at all. It’s sad to see elderly and sick people standing in line with canes lethargic & pissed of going through this process. They also have a drive thru which I’m not sure if it’s a help or hindrance dealing with both lines. If you come to the CVS pharmacy during a slower time of the day/month you might not have any problems and I use ‘Might’ very loosely. |everything else| I frequent the cosmetic section, the lottery vending machine & the 1 hour photo. Most annoying thing ever is when they have boxes blocking the product in the middle of the day. My last visit June 3rd(the 1st&3rd are popular paydays) there is no room to shop or get to product. The lottery machine is down a lot. I put 10 dollars in the ticket machine and the touch screen didn’t work. The manager came over after a while and explained there was an ‘out of order’ sign posted but it must’ve fallen off. I just took her word for it and she ended up giving me my money back. No worries but a waste of time. Another visit I went to print some pictures out at the self serve one hour photo. Only 1 out of 3 computers worked. A lady walked up & wanted to print photos too but I had the only working station occupied. She just ended up leaving the store all together. Also, the computers were filthy, Dusty and had wires exposed. CVS is a multi-billion-dollar company they can afford to have better resources for their customers. Just because this location is in an urban area doesn’t mean customers deserve second hand. There’s a Walgreens directly across the street I’ll probably get my prints there from now on. I do like that they have the self check out station. And my other favorite section, the snack sections is always neatly stocked with everything I like. I surley hope they get it together with the other things. The location is great, near the current east west train and a new metro development for a north south transit is being built right on Crenshaw blvd, a lot of potential here.

If I could give a negative I would. I have been using this pharmacy for years — I want to say an entire decade! The last few years have been AWEFUL! They are beyond slow, they rarely if ever have anything on time and they clearly don’t properly input insurance information and hit SAVE! EVERYTIME I go they need my damn insurance card… it’s the same damn insurance — has been for 8 years… I NEED my meds today, but I’ll be damned if they get shit else of mine in the near future. As badly as people need jobs, this place is better off closed. We need pharmacies and businesses in the community that treat their customers with respect, dignity and professionalism and you WILLNOT find that here. Management is clearly subpar!

Terrible pharmacy. Never has my prescription, always has to order. Then when I call on an off hour to see if ready, I’m on hold for 20 minutes!!! I would quit them and go to Walgreens across the street if they were not WORSE!

This CVS is always empty in the front when i go but the pharmacy is SLOOOOOOWWWWWW as heck. Don’t fill your prescriptions there they take entirely too long! Ive been twice && both times have been the same thing && the crazy part is there are ppl in the back doing idk what but besides that the older later who works the drop off pharmacy window is sweet.

I see them cleaning it, but it’s still a dirty looking establishment. They must search Greyhound stations high and low to find people to hang around outside the store at night. The security guards look like they should be watching their own asses. The staff, challenged though they may be in appearance and grooming, are at least courteous most times.

Can you believe this shit? I only stopped into get some aspirin for my tootache. Before I realized that my peeping mammary gland was guiding my day, I encountered a dread locked individual at the checkout who proceeded to inquire about my marital status. I replied that I was happily single. I hate when muthafuckas are tryin’ to talk to me ANDDON’T KNOWHOW! I just hate to say anything because I know from the experience of life that they’re stupid, but if I don’t say anything then they escalate and get rude. If I do say something, they still get rude. I showed no interest in the man and he told me that I needed to be single. The folks in line were looking at me, now. But I was cool. Timing is everything. I told him I liked being single.(reeling him in for the kill) He started whining(did you know the larger the dog, the more they whine?) about being alone and without a companion. Then I struck. «I already have a ‘dog’ at home. And a pig too! Though it’s stuffed, it’s better than the ones I run into on a simple trip to the pharmacy.» Nervous laughter from checkout clerk, then loud laughter from folks in line. . We can see why he is single, too.
