Saved the day. In town for an event with a family that has two kids. We were looking for cheap, free fun while killing time for the day. We spent a couple of hours at the park. It is shady and sunny. The park was well kept. The mom & dad were present with the two kids but if I was alone I might be nervous. Lots of homeless people hanging out around the park & in the park. Also dogs are welcome.
This playground definitely served our purpose & needs. So if you are in town walk a short distance from Hollywood Blvd. to this park a few blocks away. Before walking back to the hotel we stopped at Mel’s diner for a late lunch.
