Run away from using this company to make your drapes!!! I had major problems with them and i spent a lot of money. They haven’t made it right and the owner is really rude. They don’t measure correctly, their workroom is terrible and the quality of the sewing and layout are so amateurish for what they are charging! I cannot stress enough how upset i am at how poorly made my drapes are from them. Everything is done to cut corners, from the cheap plastic rods to open and close them which my husband couldn’t believe they used, to the installation. I cannot stress enough to keep looking, at least let me help other’s avoid wasting thousands of dollars on poor workmanship, sewing, and even the hems are uneven and wrong!

The fabric is lovely but even though I didn’t purchase fabric from this store for my new slip cover, I had my slip cover made here. Marilynn was very helpful in trying to find the replacement fabric for my Shabby Chic slip covered couch that I’ve had for 20 years, but the fabric and color was nearly impossible to find. When I did find it, it was incredibly expensive (fabric alone would’ve been 1800.00) so I found another fabric, close in color and in a Matelasse at another location for a much more reasonable price. Marilynn was looking for me and she was incredibly patient and answered all my questions and reduced my anxiety. This store did an amazingly beautiful job in replicating the style and fit of my previous slip cover, down to the detail. I didn’t bring my love seat in, nor did they have to take my old slip cover apart. I merely brought in the old slip cover. (It’s still useable but getting worn.) It was a little pricey, but worth it for all the detail. Turn around time was about 45 days.

We bought some beautiful chairs from Deco Home and we are now thinking of complementing them with some striking pillows… also from Deco Home. The merchandise is pricey, but gorgeous and worth the extra $. But the best part was the customer service. We dealt with Marilynn and Scott and they could not have been more helpful. They answered all of our questions, addressed all of our concerns and even held our chairs for us for a couple of months while we were in the midst of a remodel. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you want a fun shopping experience and the opportunity to look at lovely furniture and fabrics while dealing with knowledgeable and helpful staff, this is your place.

I came across an advertisement for this store in a magazine and wondered why I had never been in here before. I love nice fabric stores.
Well it was camouflaged by boards for a model redo and I realized that I’d shopped in every store around it. That was a year or 2 ago and I’ve been back a few times since but hadn’t Unilocaled about it. Well I went again yesterday as I have a new project and this is one gorgeous fabric store. They have some pre-​made items but mostly fabric for you to drool upon (not literally though). They also take custom orders as well.
This is one of those fabric stores where you love just about everything you see. A cut above F & S on Pico… especially as it is displayed.
My only negative would be that I have not found what I’m looking for (not their fault) and they are really pricey. So if money is of no issue to you — check it out!
They even gave my pup a treat! Nice… We love places that love our pups! :)

This store is what I call «fabric heaven.» All of their pieces were gorgeous !!! I loved every single one of their imported fabrics and the details were definitely to die for! They have tassles and the most unique furniture. The ladies who work here are extremely sweet and patient! They let you take your sweet time and do not rush you one bit. I’m sorry but spending an hour at this place is definitely not enough time (put more coins in your meter). Got a bunch of swatches so I can see what will work with the room I’m redecorating. Decisions, decisions!

Made an appointment for consultation at home… the designer (Natasha) did not show up. Not even a phone call… despite previous good reviews, this one is 1 star for me.

I have NO idea why I haven’t stepped into this store before!!! It’s AMAZING! On par with F&S or even BETTER! Prices are very steep but quality is out of this world!
I saw a rich brown velvet that I am dying to have but have no project in mind for it and it was plush (not totally synthetic like you will find in many fabric stores) …super thick, super soft and priced at $ 149/​yard.
Well, it’s the interior decorator’s dream… especially if your customer has a million dollar budget.
So, see you later alligator! I’ll look and I’ll touch, but it will be a rare moment in time that I will be able to afford to buy from you.

We had two sofas and two chairs from Ethan Allen reupholstered here. We also found some of the most amazing selection of fabrics for a very affordable price. The quality of there work is great and Natasha who works at Deco was very helpful in helping us decide the right fabric. I would definitely recommend them again. Also, they do gorgeous custom pieces.

I’ve had them make two sets of curtains for me in the past couple of months. Friendly, efficient, wide selection of fabric, accommodating, fair pricing. Good experience.

I recently had some curtains done at Deco Home and was extremely disappointed in the service I received. I worked with Marilynn Golightly, who miscalculated the amount of fabric needed to get the work done. When we picked up and pointed out the error (which ended up being more costly to us), Marilynn gave us attitude instead of appreciating our honesty. She neglected to give me an invoice before I left the store, and when I receive the invoice by email, the amount was incorrect. When the curtains arrived a couple of weeks later, the fabric had been sewn on incorrectly, and I had to send them back to be redone. Furthermore, I had asked for the fabric scraps to be saved, and this was blatantly not done. I estimate that there are yards of fabric that I paid for in vain. Mistakes are perfectly understandable, corrigible, and forgiveable for the most part, though it is surprising how many occurred throughout the course of getting these curtains made by what I presumed to be professionals. However, the poor attitude and lip service we received from Marilynn were unacceptable. I’m sad to say that she became transiently nicer when she realized I worked in a high earning profession, but the niceness faded rapidly once the job was done. Although the fabrics are lovely at Deco Home, my experience there was so unpleasant that I’d rather look elsewhere and work with someone with a better idea of what it means to provide customer service.

As the other reviewers have stated — Abby is AMAZING! She is kind, helpful and has a GREAT sense of design. All the beautiful fabrics in the showroom were a bit overwhelming at first (not to mention the custom furniture and window treatments) but Abby expertly guided me through all of them, listened to what I wanted picked up on my style and ultimately ended up giving me a gorgeous home! Some of the combinations of furniture and fabric Abby suggested I would have never thought of on my own but now I can’t imagine my home any other way!
If you are thinking of redoing ANYTHING in your home from a new chair in the living room to a totally new look for the entire house you absolutely MUST see Abby at Deco Home — you will be so happy you did!

Great boutique, My wife and I have recently relocated back to LA and needed some new decorations and various additions for our new home. A young woman named Abby helped us find a great variety of things. We have a long way to go getting our new home to were we visioned it, and as time and money permits we will be coming back to Deco Fabrics for sure. Thanks Abby!
