Delta Flats day use area is basically a parking lot where you can park your car and go explore the little tujunga river below. I have been coming here for years for a fun walk alongside the river. I love to bring the dogs and have run through the river for a dip. The only reason why I am writing this review is to warn people of a new intruder in the area… it is infested with ticks! Our dogs returned with many ticks… I am mortified! I don’t think I will be returning here for some time or if we do I will make sure to spray ourselves and the dogs with tick repellant…
