Diddley D’s Double Time Delivery

Wow what an amazing service!!! Was visiting a friend in DTLA and as you know parking is horrible here and a lot of the really good places don’t deliver, a friend told me about this unique and new delivery service in DTLA since Unilocal is my go to guide and saw that it was a family run business I was all down for the support! Not only was the delivery super fast and super convenient Diddly D was so nice! Will definitely be using them whenever I’m in DTLA!

Ordered from Orleans & York and Diddley D’s came through with my order on a rainy Friday night. Even before I went downstairs to pick up my food, I already knew he’d be a great guy by a voice on the phone as lame as that might sound. So I took out some cash to tip him, instead of writing it in along with my card.
He was a nice guy, so we had a chat. He let me know that he ran a courier service as his own business and that he wasn’t a delivery guy just for the restaurant. He gave me his card and I assured him I would be in touch in the future. Overall, we had a nice chat and he was awesome and down to earth.
I personally have never used a food delivery service like GrubHub before, except for the ones through Unilocal but you better believe that if I ever come across a restaurant in the area that charges a delivery fee, I’ll be calling for Diddley D’s help instead.
So while I did not call for Diddley D’s specifically, his service was too good for me not to write a review for. Fantastic guy and one-​of-​a-​kind service.

I feel so much better supporting a «local» business then post mates or grub hub. I called and paid for my own food– he went to get it. Faster then any other service. He will definitely be my go to.

This guy is awesome! Delivered quick and easy for $ 5…with a friendly smile. I will definitely be ordering more from D :)

Absolutely Amazing! At first I was septic on this delivery system but after trying my first time, I was pleased :)
I live in Dtla and most of the time after a long day at work I’m lazy to walk a few blocks to make simple purchases at RideAid, Ralph’s, Walgreens or 7 eleven. I called Diddley D’s Service and he was quick to come by to pick up my list of things that I needed from RideAid Drugstore. Overall he was courteous and very humble Man. I was impressed by his professionalism and his speedy delivery and best of all his $ 5 dollar Cover Charge. Diddley was great! Thank you! I will be calling you all the time! Your such a life saver! Good Job!

I’ve never used this service before, so I actually won’t be much help there. But today I witnessed one of their couriers stop a mugging in DTLA. The woman walked away angry without thanking him, but major props to that guy for being a hero.
