Came in for a night cap on June 10,2016 after the nba finals. Luckily we were the only ones in there at first. Great service and wine, too bad they did not have the hazelnut chocolate truffles in stock. Great warm and cozy area.

What a nice experience. We came after work for a very subtle birthday celebration. We decided to sit at the bar for a drink and snacks. I can’t remember his name(sorry) but the guy working the bar made this first time visit perfect. He offered tastes of a few very interesting wines with spot on descriptions. After asking what I prefer in a red wine, he truly chose a red for me that had what I like. We snacked on the poached tuna — delicious. We also chose the charcuterie platter with cheese suggestions by him again and they were great. Thanks for a nice evening. Will be back with more friends to enjoy this place.

This little hidden gem in Downtown LA, is a must go for anyone, who loves wine, great old school R & B music with an underground rustic, warm and intimate feeling. The service and appies were, also just lovely! Hidden underneath the O Hotel. We wished, we could’ve just stayed there, but Wanda Sykes was waiting for us.

Hidden gem! So glad my girl-friends and I stumbled upon this cute chill place. We were on our way to honeycut when we decided to just get our first round of drinks here. Total satisfaction! The waiter/bartender was so nice and welcoming. We had no idea what to order for food so he suggested a bunch of greatness which complimented our wine and beer. Will be coming back soon!

Several reviews here already mention Joe the sommelier, but I have to give him a shout as well. Tell Joe what you like, and he will introduce you to new wines you most definitely will like. He is knowledgeable but not snobby, friendly and courteous, and he will remember your name long before you remember his. Food here makes great parings with Joe’s recommendations. I don’t come here if I’m on a budget, but you’d miss out if you did.

We popped in last week following a memorial — so we were In need of a few libations. We were greeted with even more — kind, thoughtful service and an amazing selection of vino and delectable tartines. The GM, Joe, was an absolute light and made us feel extra special. I’ve already been back ;). Get here! Have the rosé on tap. Yummmmmm

The ambiance here is quite lovely– it is like a nice old Ivy library– and the bartenders are well educated on their collection. However, some of the pricing is just very terrible. For example, their $ 6 happy hour white today was a $ 6.99 a bottle low-end wine. I was pretty surprised at how lackluster their white selection is, though their red collection is a little stronger. The $ 14 wine flight option, which is three pours of any wine they offer by the glass, is a rarity for downtown and very appreciated, but I’d like to see them round out their wine program with more global selections – and not of the $ 6.99 a bottle variety.

Really cute and cozy! While visiting my son DTLA we stopped in, ordered two wine flights and had several appetizers, everything was really good and tasty! The waiter(forget his name) was super helpful in helping us order, his recommendations were spot on! I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in town!!!

Phenomenal service and tapas! Came here on a Saturday night with a friend needing to unwind after taking the LSAT, we were so pleasantly surprised by this little gem! The cheese plate was of excellent value; quality cheeses that we chose based on recommendation, served with fig jam(YUM), dates, figs, and various other dried fruits, nuts, and bread. Their red pepper and artichokes were also the absolute perfect sides, with its complementing acidity bringing out the fruits in our wines. Perfection! Don’t forget to order their delicious chocolate truffles in the end, which I will definitely pair with their Port next time around. Our server(didn’t get his name, a well dressed British(?) gentleman) was knowledgeable and attentive. We will be back.

This place is a basement. I went on a Monday night and enjoyed all day happy hour. I also tried their 3 item plates, and it was REALLY good. I think it is a hidden location where couples or friends can go to have a wine or beer and chit-chat. They have sofas and tables, and it is nice and quiet. The server was quite friendly, and I saw no problems. I had a great time with my companion and it was a chill, quiet night. I like it, they have great deals so I’ll be coming back as long as they do!

D’vine is an underrated cozy wine bar and lounge in the heart of DTLA, about a block away from 7th and Fig. I stopped in for happy hour last night and everything was great. The bartender was super friendly, and had great wine and food recommendations. If you’re not sure what you like, they’ll happily point you in the right direction. We ordered a Cabernet, a Rose, the prosciutto tartine(favorite) and the 3 cheese plate. Everything was tasty and fresh. Also, the music was 100% on point with Pink Floyd and Beatles to accompany our drinks. If you’re looking for a low key, unpretentious spot to get a drink in DTLA after work, D’vine is a great place to check out. They have happy hour until 7:00PM and they’re located right next to the O hotel in Downtown La. The only thing I’d change, if anything, is the name, which almost as cheesy as their cheese plates.

Matt did an amazing job. We crashed the happy hour with 40 people and they didn’t have the capacity for all that without a reservation. However, Matt did an amazing job and kept everyone happy somehow. Food and drinks were pretty good too. Appreciate your help Matt!

Simply loved this place! It is so cozy and well decorated. Fantastic date night spot or friend date to catch up. We bought the travelzoo which was such a great deal. The waiter was honestly the best. If Mattel redoes the Ken doll I hope they model it after Joe our waiter. He was well mannered, extremely knowledgeable about wines and over all makes u feel like u are in good hands so just kick back and enjoy the experience. He handled choosing most our items. Must Haves: The chatucherie board — ok I am a snob about these and it makes my top 5 list. The prosciutto was amazing. A triple cream cow cheese, creamy blue and they are paired with one of the best gig spreads I’ve ever had, dates, Marcona almonds — you have to get it! Kale Caesar — light and a good balance to the meats. Burratta was about an 8. I like it paired with tomatoes better than pesto with prosciutto He brought out some reds that were phenomenal! Just tell him what you like and he hooks you up! Definitely a place going to!

Came to grab some drinks before dinner. We kind of bumped into it and were pleasantly surprised. The dude behind the bar was great. The place is really cute. Would definitely go back.

Cute place but sort of just misses for me. Since it is in the basement, it sort of reminds me of las cuevas in Spain, only less smokey and just a touch less charm. Just a touch. Pretty nice décor though. at some tables they have chairs, and others stools and booths. I’d recommend the chairs. For me the stools were just a touch high, but I like the variety. The apps were all good, but nothing really jumped out as us. We had the tuna which was nice, the artichokes had a nice marinade and the favorite at the table was the fava beans. They do have hard alcohol, but limited mixers. They also have a pretty good beer selection. All in all a decent experience but a touch expensive for what we got.

Basement Wine Cellar/bar that has a secret speakeasy feel going down a set of stairs from street level to an underground hideaway. Racks of wine bottles against the far wall. Nicely appointed bar with spigots for beer & good wine by the glass albeit rather expensive even at Happy Hour for a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. There is a wine flight offered for $ 14. The staff is casually friendly. Our waitress was full of good cheer passing around the crostini with a big smile & hearty greetings. The food runs in the vein of a classic Tapas style bar where the food is simple & easy to make or process… charcuteries, crostini with things such as Chevre/goat cheese, shredded veggies on top, cheese plates, oysters on a half-shell, salads. Supposedly in actual tapas bars in Spain, the food on bread started when patrons who left their glasses of wine on the bar put a piece of bread to cover their wine to prevent something from falling into the glass. Not a destination, but D’Vine is a good after work watering hole for those employed nearby in DTLA. It was a good place to meet for the DTLA Mixer… casual, cozy, yet stylish in an offbeat sort of way. 3+ Unilocal stars.

Cozy wine bar located in the basement of the O Hotel. As the name indicates, the place is intimate and literally has elements of a wine cellar in a home. One entire wall displays various wine bottles in a clasic historic cabinetry. On the other side, you are presented with some exposed red brick. It’s a lovely place to impress a date or to come and enjoy wine with friends and family. Some of the tables are more like dining tables to give it that house-like feel. It’s nice. I tried the Bummer & Lazarus Gin, Treasure Island, USA10 and it tasted divine. Definitely not your typical gin, but rather quality hints of licorice and cherry. I am not a big wine drinker, but I am planning to return to sample of their wines on tap. We ordered the market oysters that averaged to about $ 2 per piece. Very fresh and healthy sizes. Definitely recommend. Our server was Matt and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a nice time.

Definitely a cozy wine bar in the heart of DTLA! Came check this new addition to the area on a Thursday evening. I was actually so surprised that the place is a lot more spacious than I expected. Lighting and ambiance was so classy, warm and welcoming with lovely and romantic décor. Perfectly for girls night out or dinner dates. We were greeted as we stepped into the cellar. I believed on weeknights you can sit wherever you want. Or maybe I’m wrong. The service was outstanding here. We took our time with the menu and ended up getting things they recommend. Entrance on Flower St. is noticeable and easy to fine. There’s a parking lot right next door for $ 18…yikes! Or use your charms for street parking*
