If you were alive anywhere after 1960 to the present, it would be truly impossible not to have heard a Beatles song at all. The show would be enjoyed by any one with an appreciation for music and spectacle without the acrobatics. I came here on a Saturday Matinée as a Mothers’ Day present. Got fantastic center Mezzanine seats. Not really fully aware that this was a Tribute style band. The performers certainly showcased an authentic style of music, including mannerisms, costumes, voice and all in all, I felt the show delivered. There are multiple vignettes and film clips over the years, so it was also a review of some events over the last half century. I thought that copyright or estate issues might have been the reason why there was NOT a single reference to the Kennedy’s — Jack and Robert, or for that matter, Jackie Kennedy. They were seminal to American and world history. There is one recreation which was cleaned up for the sake of the minors who are in attendance. It start out with«give me an F!» etc… I thought that was good for the audience and also was a hidden wink-wink for those old enough to remember what the word actually was. There’s a type of interactive performance going on and if you want to dance and sing out loud, it’s encouraged! Consider purchasing the $ 12 parking, as nearby parking lots will fill up and you’ll be paying $ 20 like I did. Very entertaining, I could listen to a whole day of Beatles music and sadly, this one only runs under 2 hours. Stay through the end and see encores.

WOW, THEBEATLESHAVECAMEBACKTOLIVE! Get ready to rock ‘n roll! Got a great package deal at the end of the year last year and went to the show at the Pantages today. It’s the opening night! It’s full of surprises! I did not do any research before coming to the show. At first, I thought this would be like Cirque du Soleil minus the acrobat stuff, with the story-telling. At the show, I found out that it’s an actual concert! They play some Beatles clips that would keep you excited. They did move the camera towards the audience, so you might find your face on the screen! That’s pretty fun. Moreover, they made you stand and dance for a few songs. That’s fun too. DO stay for the encore ;) One thing is that my seat was facing the speakers. The speaker vibrant made me very uncomfortable in the beginning. Good that I got used to it after a while. Another thing — the name of the show seem to be inconsistent. Pantages had«Experience The Beatles with Rain» on their website and Play Bill. The ticket showed«Rain — Beatles Tribute». On their screen during the show, it read«The Rain — A Tribute to the Beatles». The t-shirts designs sold at the souvenir shop are just ok. I wanted to buy a t-shirt as a souvenir, but didn’t like any of them.
