Great steak, great service and very yummy appetizers! Their cheesecake and lava cake are musts for desserts, do not try anything else! Sam our waitress is always pleasant, we always request her to serve us! It’s people and service like hers that has us coming back regularly!

So, my oldest son took me to dinner because he works here and received two free dinners because he got employee of the month. The food was phenomenal and the service was first class! The sous chef, manager and other staff members came out to say hello to me and congratulate my son and we were treated like celebrities. Since it was my first visit and my son recommended everything, on the suggestion of our server Samantha I tried the Chilean Sea Bass with mashed potatoes. OMG!!! It was like butter melting in the mouth! The side Caesar salad was awesome and dessert was the carrot cake, to which they make their own caramel sauce on the side. I wish that I could find the correct adjective to use for the most flavorful dessert I’ve ever had, but I cannot. Mr Fleming, you have great staff working here and I hope that you appreciate them as much as I do! Samantha, you are a jewel and you are the bestest ever! I love how you checked on us just enough without being annoying, lol I even loved the way the staff cleared the table before dessert was served. I will most def be back and again, thank you for the most positive eating experience of a lifetime.

From the moment we checked in everyone was so accommodating. Not a step missed from the moment we crossed through the front door to our reserved table that was topped with an anniversary card to welcome us, to being congratulated and attended to by the many servers that walked by. The Newport Beach location is our first Flemings experience, the Rancho Cucamonga is our dearest but L.A. Flemings is our most favorite! Located at the heart of LA Live surrounded by all the sights and sounds that make up the city of Angels, this location is perfect! Our server Frank gave us the space and time to enjoy each others company yet stayed close by to ensure our wine glasses were never empty. Better than average steaks and instead of lobster mashed they had crab mashed which was full of sweet lumps of crab meat. For desert we shared the pumpkin cheesecake with a crème brûlée topping and it was heaven! The night ended with a visit from the manager Tarow, their decedent truffles and a gift card. We know there are many dining options to celebrate life’s precious moments but we also love what we love. We love Flemings L.A.

I came here for a infinity insurance company we had our own separated room it was pretty small but they managed to get some extra chairs so we could all fit. The ambiance is a little louder than RC steak house. Less romantic I suppose? Like a TGIF? I got cheese cake it was room temperature not soo good but my bestie crème Brûlée was fleek, her rib eye was also scrumptious! We had free drinks so we were pretty tipsy. La live was near by so we were walking and drinking pretty fun area only thing was parking either valet or 300 thousand miles away lol

This spot is located in L. A Live! The walk to the restaurant from the parking structure is beautiful. You are dazzled with bright lights from all sides. The plaza and the restaurant itself are both extremely clean. Atmosphere & Wait: for a party of 5 on a Wednesday, we were seated immediately. The restaurant is a bit dark for my taste. I like to see my food when I’m eating, but it can be romantic for some people. There is also a bar with Tv’s playing sports which you can also have dinner there. Food: Our table got all the steaks that had the choice of «Bone-in». They cost around $ 67 each. Supposedly those are the best tasting steaks. I got the medium rare Bone-in filet mignon. My choice was good but I was not blown away. My cow was soft, but it was not as juicy as I expected it to be. Service: Service was superb. Shout out to Melinda the manager who even came out to wish me happy birthday and gave me some treats. Her staff were polite, attentive and knowledgeable. Great job to Flemings!

May start off by saying that our server, Preston, is a super star. He had a good sense of humor and a helpful atmosphere. Even though we were young we were given good attention. My girlfriend and I were new to Flemings. I got the main filet, she the petite filet with peppercorn sauce. You gotta get the Mac and cheese and the Flemings potatoes were soft and delicious. Almost like a potatoes lasagna. The bread came the tastiest dips. My girlfriends filet came out perfectly Unfortunately, my stake came out almost rare when I ordered it medium well. It was a huge disappointment. Asked to send it back Preston courteously took it back and brought me back a steak closer to medium. It was too late and I was too hungry at this point, I had to eat. Wine was nice got a 19 $ 9oz Chardonnay. Forget the name. Preston is awesome Steak came out too rare twice. Tips. Definitely call and make reservations ahead of time. I saw people wait until I received my entrée. Was a Friday night though. Parking is a brisk walk away from the la live garage. We received free parking with validation. we were there for around 2 hours Pricy, spent $ 200 great night though!

Dark Nights at L.A. Live 08÷28÷15. THEAMBIANCE: I heard about Dark Nights at L.A. Live where certain venues post $ 5 menus that include appetizers and select drinks. Flemings had a Dark Nights menu so we tried it out. We sat at the bar. The bar has ample space to enjoy a meal and it is more low key. THE $ 5 menu: I tried their $ 5 Stella Artois Cider but was not a fan. For their $ 5 tasting, I had the pan-crisped pork belly platter with creamy goat cheese grits, sweet onion, and cherry chutney. I thought I was really good. THETIPS: I am not sure when Dark Nights will return but I’m sure it will pop up again this year.

A solid 4 stars! I like the elegance and fanciness of Flemings, but also like how they tone it down a bit with sports on the TVs along the bar. My love and I came here to celebrate my birthday. We made reservations a week ahead, and they seated us within 5mins. Downside was that we were right smack in the middle of a slew of tables; however, it didn’t feel cramped or anything. We still felt comfortable. They greeted us with a birthday card that sat on the table, so all the servers and busboys graciously wished me a happy birthday. He got a Caesar salad while I got the filet mignon, and we shared a Mac and cheese dish. The only issue was that my steak was cooked to rare when I had requested medium rare(warm center) –bit was cool in the middle, which I didn’t like. they were able to re-cook my steak though, and it didn’t take tok long. The steak was superb! The Mac and cheese was delicious, the perfect amount of mac to cheese. My love loved his Caesar, as well! One thing that stood out — the manager brought out a box of 4 chocolate truffles, and a complimentary gift card for $ 25 for our next visit. That was really nice! You could also tell that the truffles were house-made, because they weren’t perfect little circles like how the store-bought ones look like. Also, note — they validate when you park at the structure at LA Live! 2 thumbs up for complimentary parking!

Service is 5 Start all the way. Service is impeccable and they do an outstanding job of making sure you have everything you need. Food is fantastic, steaks are great, seafood /fish is top notch. Location is great, very close to all the LA Live /Staples attractions Sides — the Fleming Potatoes are dang good. Mac n Cheese is wonderful, Salads are all very good. So why not 5 Stars… well, cuz it is just so darn expensive. I just really struggle with the high-end steakhouses like these, you know who they are. Their food is delicious, prepared wonderfully, but darn it, it just is tough to drop a 5 spot when you are paying 2.5−3 times what you know you can get a quality steak at somewhere else. But, it is the atmosphere, you are there to impress and be there and you know what you are going to get. So for me, the only reason they are not 5 Star is the Value to Cost factor in my book. Its’ very very good, but just… uuuuuugh

We’ve been here several times before and always had a good experience. Went there last night with friends for dinner and were sadly very Scott our server was in a huge rush every time he came over and what’s the deal with her we didn’t get checked on very much by him. We ordered the price fix menu of ribeye and lobster with several sides and things did not go well. My husband’s steak was super well done to the point of looking like a shoe. Mashed potatoes were dry like they’d been out of the heat lamp for too long. We go to Flemings because we know we’re going to pay top dollar for top quality however this is not the case last night. I hope they’re not slipping to the point that we don’t come back in the future.

Flemings is a good steak house but Flemings is average at best. The steak was good, cooked medium rare good. Not excellent and for the price point of $ 50ish, I expect a better char, a more appropriate temperature to the meat. The filet was not aged. Again it was good nothing more. The lobster mac n’ cheese was very good. They forgot my Bernaise sauce, had to ask twice(half empty resto) so by the time it came, my steak was not consumed at prime. The Thai Style Green Beans dissh was nicely spicy good. The wine pour was nice. They forgot our request for more bread. Water was constantly refilled. The carrot cake, layered tall and beautiful, a streak of molasses accent on the plate served with Chantilly cream however was divine. Service was attentive enough. At the end of the day, Flemings is not at the same level as Capital Grille, Gibsons, definitely not Peter Lugers and certainly not on the same level as great midwest steakhouses. It amazes me that things like a request for more bread(minor) and asking for Bernaise sauce for my steak(major) should not have been missed. Now from the looks of the crowd, Fremings more a hangout to dress up for and sample good steak. One of my Unilocalers Jane loves Happy Hour here so I may try that next time and hope I can get around to it. Visits: 1 Tip: Come on a Sunday in the rain and make sure there is no Staples center game, during a leap year when the grape harvest is meager and request via OpenTable. Wine list is extensive and iPad ready. Validation for 2 hours for the parking lot.

This is an updated review for happy hour only. Happy hour is from 4−6PM daily. Their specials include 5 cocktails, 5 wines, 5 appetizers for $ 6 each. Cocktails are well made and of nice size. Drinks are served with a free bowl of kettle potato chips. In addition to the appetizers, they also offer their delicious prime burger and fries for $ 7, and the portion is fantastic. Their pork belly with polenta app as well as their fried calamari app are both sizable and delicious, especially the pork belly. I have gotten to know some of the bartenders over time. It’s nice to stop in for a drink and feel welcomed and comfortable. Although I prefer the pace of the Beverly Hills locale, as the DTLA locale can get extremely busy, I prefer the staff here. I would highly recommend it if you are in the area. parking — garage, lot, or metered street parking a few blocks away(free after 6 or 8PM, depending on the street)

Ambiance: fancy dining environment, comfortable seats and soft lighting. Parking is very hard to find around DTLA, and the restaurant provides 2-hr validation to LA live east garage. Service: excellent! Fast and friendly, our servers provided useful suggestion with food ordering, also very attentive with water refill and checking on us frequently. Many thanks to Besmir and Daniel! You guys make us feel at home. Food: high quality and generous portions Bread — **** freshly made daily, warm and crispy, tasty with butter, recommend The New Wedge — **** Grape tomatoes, crispy onions, caramelized bacon, blue cheese, unique flavor, recommend Prime Rib Dinner — **** Only available on sunday served with a trio of sauces; includes your choice of the new wedge, modern caesar or fleming’s salad, one side dish and dessert. Totally worth trying, recommend Sautéed Mushrooms — *** flavorful and a bit salty Chocolate Lava Cake — *** rich chocolate cake with a melton center of callebaut Belgian chocolate, severed with premium vanilla ice cream and chopped pistachios Price: reasonably priced for its great quality and decent portions, expect $ 40~$ 60 for food plus any drinks

Came in for dinner before attending a Kings game on a Thursday evening. The three of my clients and I arrived late due to the parking lot valet SW was not accessible from Olympic Blvd but the staff here was awesome and set us up at a booth with a great of the view of the wine cellar and entire restaurant dinning area. We started our meal with fresh bread, a bottle of Dreaming Tree merlot which was yummy. We then followed with Fleming salads split and we made it easy and ordered 3 bone in 20 oz rib eyes and one dry rubbed rib eye with no bone in. For sides we went family style and I ordered the mushrooms, signature potatoes and cream spinach. Everything was spot on awesome! Service was also solid because we were running late and they knew we were in a bit of a hurry. Even the manager came over to me and asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and I mentioned it was my birthday the following day. He returned before I departed and gave me a box of truffles and gift card! I thought that was so thoughtful! Only negative was the ladies didn’t finish all their food and the Staples Center has a no food or drink from outside policy and they ended up trashing their leftover steaks and sides. I didn’t have any issue because I devoured my entire entrée! Thank you to the entire Flemings staff for making my birthday and business dinner a memorable dining experience! I’ll definitely be returning again!

I have to start my review by saying that Fleming’s never disappoints. We were on our way to a concert, and wanted to have a drink or 2, since at the concerts you get cheap quality drinks. When we walked in, we were greeted by a very nice host named Austin. We wanted to sit on the patio since the bar area was full. Austin let us know that there is gonna be a 10 min wait, which was perfect. After only 3 mins, we were walking toward our table! Awesome! Unfortunately the table leg was broken so we ended up sitting at the main dining area. We got the seared Ahi Tuna appetizer along with 2 drinks. They brought their freshly baked warm bread as well. Our mini dining experience was fun. From now on, everytime I am going to a concert, I am gonna have a drink at Fleming’s because it never disappoints.:-)

I’d been wanting to have a meal at Fleming’s for a long time and finally got the chance to have dinner to celebrate my sister’s birthday last night. Made reservations and let them know we were there for a special occasion — they made note of that and before dinner they presented her with a hand-written bday card and several staff members wished her a happy birthday. Our waiter came by to introduce himself and show us how the«wine pad» worked. The mini tablet at the table is used for guests to peruse their ample wine and cocktail list. They have tons of adult beverages to choose from. Once our drinks arrived, a plate with a mini loaf of what I think was sourdough cheese bread was set on our table. The bread came with two spreads — one was a goat cheese cranberry, and the other was a garlic herb. The bread wasn’t memorable, and actually seemed a bit stale and cold. I ate a couple bites then left the rest. I ordered the Craftsman Prime Ribeye(12 oz) cooked medium and my sister decided on the Main Filet Mignon(12 oz) cooked rare. We also ordered the Fleming’s Potatoes(w/cream, jalapenos, and cheddar) and the Chipotle Cheddar Mac and Cheese. Our steaks arrived first and looked and smelled amazing. Caution: they bring them out on searing hot plates, so take care not to accidentally touch them as you will be burned. My steak was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. I’ve never had a ribeye cut this thick before. It was delicious and seasoned simply with salt, pepper and finished with butter. When our sides arrived the waiter bringing them presented us with the potato dish and another dish of mashed potatoes which we didn’t order. I let the waiter know that we’d ordered mac and cheese and not the mash so he took them away and said they would bring the correct side right out. We waited, and waited and still no mac and cheese. Our main waiter didn’t check in with us very often so when he finally came by when we were almost full, I let him know we were still waiting for our second side. We finally received the mac and cheese, but at that point we were just about done with the meal. The Fleming’s Potatoes were tasty, but I didn’t detect any spice from the jalapenos. in fact I didn’t even see any flecks of jalapenos in the dish. The Mac and Cheese was the same — even though they were billed as Chipotle, there was no hint of spice, and the pasta was too overdone for my tastes. We ordered the chocolate lava cake a la mode for dessert. It was fresh from the oven, delicious and came with tuile cookies, raspberries, pistachios, and a side of fresh whipped cream. We were stuffed from dinner but dug in happily. At the end of the meal a manager was kind enough to stop by to present the bday girl with a small box of house made truffles and a $ 25 gift card for a future visit. What a nice gesture — my sister was pleased. Overall, the steaks were great(the A-ok rating is for the steaks) but the sides and being made to wait for our missing side left this visit shy of a 4 star rating. Appreciative of them recognizing my sister’s bday so nicely and the mostly good service(we were left waiting for a while with our bill looking for our waiter to pick it up so we could leave). But I don’t know that I would come back after this visit though considering the high price point(our bill before tax/tip was over $ 150 without alcohol).

I think it’s my goal to try as many steakhouses I can throughout this lifetime of mine. Having been to what I like to think is quite a few, Flemings was next on my list. Another birthday celebration and I wanted to try Flemings at LA Live. I’m quite happy they had plenty of reservation times and was able to pick one quickly. Leaving from SGV area around 7pm, it took us around 30 – 35 minutes, parking isn’t too difficult but luckily my girlfriend knew where to go. We were a bit early but they seated us immediately. Shout out to the staff and my waiter as everyone was attentive and he was quite handsome! There was a personalized birthday card for me which I always love. After looking through our menu, we decided on Sweet Chile Calamari as the starter, Main Filet Mignon and Craftsman Prime Ribeye as the main and the Spicy Thai Green Beans as our sides. Both of us wanted our meats medium rare. I will say it was cooked quite perfectly. I’m starting to enjoy my medium rare. Major points! One downside was the calamari was quite soggy by the time it reached our table, we did let the manager know and while I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it, when I think of calamari, I think of crunchiness. They kindly took care of it. Overall, it was another lovely birthday spent with an amazing friend. I loved the attentiveness of everyone and even the Chef came out to address our calamari issue. At the end of the night, they gave me a $ 25 gift card to come back at a later date. Tips-they validate. When we went to pay for parking, instead of $ 15 it was $ 10.

I have been coming to Fleming’s for happy hour for about a year now and I think it’s one of the best happy hours around! I normally frequent this location, which is located at LA Live, and the El Segundo location. I rarely come here just to come to Fleming’s just because parking around here can be kind of pricey. I would definitely come here if you are planning on going to go to an event at Staples Center. The Happy Hour is by the bar area and they have a few tables located near the bar. They have a pretty good happy hour deal for food and drinks. I am a huge lightweight when it comes to alcohol so I normally stick to the beer on the happy hour menu. For the food, my favorite is the hamburger and pork belly. It delicious and such a good deal. The hamburger tastes juicy and tasty. It also comes with fries. The pork belly is also really good. The pork belly is very tender. I have tried other food items, but these two are the items that I consistently order. This location tends to get really busy when there are events going on. So, it might be hard to find a table because it gets packed quickly. Overall, one of my favorite happy hour places! It’s great to unwind at Fleming’s before an event or after work.

After hearing rave reviews for Fleming’s over the years, I was a bit disappointed in the food. I should note that I came here during Dine L.A., which could explain the decline in quality. We started the meal with the tomato bisque. It was nothing to write home about. Next, I ordered the petite filet mignon with lobster tail for $ 15 extra. My date ordered the 10-oz. ribeye for $ 10 extra. My lobster tail was cooked perfectly. The filet was medium-rare as ordered; with that said, the filet did not taste very good. I suppose it could have been the quality of the meat. However, my date’s «medium-rare» ribeye was unenjoyable. Some parts of the steak were well done, and the center was pretty bloody. The manager was kind enough to stop by our table and ask if the meat was cooked to order(which, after reading other reviews, makes sense because a lot of people seem to complain about their steaks not being cooked as requested). He didn’t have the heart to say«no» and make them re-do the steak. The stars of our meal were the potatoes au gratin, thai-style green beans, and cheesecake. Had we paid regular prices for the meal, I would’ve given the restaurant two stars. The service was great, but unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the food. I will not be returning.
