Flex Baths

If there was a ZERO star rating, that’s what I would give this dump! There is absolutely nothing good about this place. I’ll list the reasons why in detail. BTW, all the 5 star ratings this place got are from friends and family of the business.
1. There is a sign that states «The Steam room and Jacuzzi are temporarily out of order.» They have not been working for over a YEAR now. They tell you it’s due to permit reasons and that they will work soon — BUT THE REAL REASON IS BECAUSE SOMEONE DIED IN THE STEAMROOM DUE TO DRUG OVERDOSE.
2. Even when the steam room and jacuzzi were working, they were dirty. The Jacuzzi wreaked of chlorine and the steamroom did not have any steam! LOL so essentially it was not a steam room. The owner was trying to save money so the steam would come on once every 3 hours LOL. True…
3. The employees are very rude, some don’t speak English well and they act like you’re in a foreign communist country. They might be illegal Mexicans, but surly and not friendly at all.
They increased the price of admission so I was surprised about paying $ 18 for a locker, the old ugly and rude Mexican guy with glasses was curt and didn’t explain how it was 18 bucks.
4. The place is dirty and has not been renovated in a decade. it looks like a place from the 70s. Doesn’t the owner know any money he spends is tax deductible LOL. The Korean spas are clean and very nice with showers with ample water pressure lol. Soap n shampoo too. The owner here doesn’t want to spend a penny on niceties.
I can go on but don’t want to waste anymore of my time. I won’t go back until there is management or owner change, and new employees who speak English and are friendly.

Was drugged and robbed at this place. Who knows what else they did to me. I don’t come to places like this. I was just doing a favor for a friend and bringing him something he left at home. After meeting with him I needed to send a text. After sitting for about 5 minutes next thing I know I was sitting in the driver seat of my car and remembered nothing. Approximately 12 hours had gone by. I had no memory of what happened. I believe the staff was involved. After several attempts leaving messages I have not heard from any management.
I lost my iPhone, leather jacket, Ray bans and money.
I hope this place burns to the ground and everyone involved burns with it. If not I get to torture them for the rest of their painful life.
I’m right here. Come forward and you won’t suffer. Let me find you on my own and I’ll tie you to my car and drag your body until there’s nothing left. ;)

I’m not sure what good a bathhouse is without a steamroom and jacuzzi. I guess all this location is good for is private rooms for people to use drugs in. I suppose places like this have gone out of fashion since everyone is hooking up via smartphone apps, but this place has fallen off completely.

I had a pretty good experience my first time coming here. The parking lot was packed but luckily I was able to find a spot no problem. I got the 6 month membership cause it came with a free locker for first timers so i only paid $ 18. The first thing I checked out was the gym. It had all the equipment i needed and the only clothing you need are shoes; yay! After the gym I checked out the pool. I thought i wouldn’t be able to fully enjoy myself because the hot tub was closed but the pool was heated to the perfect temperature. And when it comes to playing around, I wasn’t disappointed. I ended up having a really good time.

If you wanna chill with 50% old men 25% hotties and 25% tweakers then come to flex. It’s not great but it’s something to do when your feeling frisky. They have a heated pool but need to fix their jacuzzi and steam room and air conditioning lol.

Great place to visit the atmosphere is more «Hollywood» I guess you could say.
What makes this place different from the other baths is that it has a small gym inside
And It’s one solid floor but it’s very spacious.

I came here last August (it was saturday night).
Parking was quite hard that night, the parking lot is full. i waited like 20mins just to park.
Quite expensive, pqid more than $ 30 bucks for a room. The staff in the cashier is nice and helpful.
Just like what other reviews says. no jacuzzi or steamroom as of august 2015. but its ok, at least they still have their pool, sauna and showers.
this place is clean.
they have gym.
they have lounges where you can relax.
they have a section the club where you can have public sex.

Nice place. Free parking. Pool… and good welcoming. I meet a lot of European people.

Horrible Creep Show !! So i haven’t been here for a few years and heard it was closed down for few months then reopen Sooo i fig lets go tonight sat at 11pm. It was bizzy but full of creepy hairy guys & said (NO JACUZZI or STEAMROOM was like fuck one of main reasons i came … Was told by Manager that they LOSt license for bathhouse and can only operate if keep those closed … So i walked around for 20 mins and left and headed on over to The Zone where at least the guys are better looking and lights are dark and mood set… never understood why some of the clubs have lights full blast like at doctors office what a boner kill… well take it from me or go check it out and post another review

This place would be nice if it wasn’t for all the druggies in their, the whirlpool and steam room where both closed, it says they are having a police permit issue, I don’t understand how they where able to re-​open with the big drug problem this place has. The Management and staff doesn’t seem to care in fact Flex sponsored one of the buggiest drug parties there is the White Party. on my last visit everyone that came to my room asked if I was partying and a few asked if I needed any «party favors» what a waste of my money.

I went Last Night/​Early this morning about 1:15AM Sat/​Sun and it was packed. No rooms available. It’s even busier than it was before being temporarily closed. Last time I was there was on a holiday weekend. It was also packed then.

2^nd time going there and waiting for hours on a wait list only to have my number overlooked. And when finally checked to see why I hand not called my number, they seemed surprised I hadn’t been called. The rub here was that they gave me the smallest room possible with a support beam going through the center. I wait on line to see about a larger room within 5 min and the want to charge me again. I just left my paid for room and left. In the future I will explore every other venue option before revisiting this place

my bf and i went there as a couple to hang out with other gay people swim socialize etc. the staff was so rude not all of them but most of them. they dont like to see couples i think that love each other

The guys at the front door are always nice & helpful, enjoy going there to relax and get my grove on Ha Ha !! Could’n say enough good things about this male spa !!

This is a decent bathhouse. Part of the Flex chain of bathhouses, it’s not nearly as grand as the Flex in Cleveland, but it does have the usual amenities.
Lockers, rooms, a full gym, video lounges, showers, etc. There is also a very nice outdoor area with a pool and jacuzzi. The water in the pool was a bit cold for my taste, but the jacuzzi was very nice warm temperature and had some very strong jets. Parking shouldn’t be an issue as they have their own parking lot.
Parts of the club have been recently renovated it appears, but overall it’s a bit tired and worn — however it’s relatively clean. On the Friday afternoon that I visited, there were more than enough folks in the club for me to enjoy myself. The clientelle was mostly middle aged (30−50ish).
Of all the bathhouses I visited in Los Angeles, I ended up having the most fun at Flex.

Well, the $ 1.00 Tuesdays are gone, and now so are the crowds. Strike One.
And there used to be this cute little twink that worked there, who was always good for a quick romp in one of the rooms, but now he’s gone too. Strike Two and Three.
Oh well. Rumor has it that the new steam and sauna should be done soon at Hollywood Spa, which is much bigger — but the staff doesn’t put out there.
