Doug at Framing Devil has been my go-​to for more than 10 years now and every time I’m blown away by the level of care, craftsmanship and exceptional eye for design that shines through on every single project. His prices are completely unmatched when it comes to quality and getting your money’s worth and I frequently refer the artists that I work with to this master craftsman.
If you love your art and want to archive it for a lifetime, the Framing Devil is the best in the biz hands down.

Dough has come through for me time and time again. He’s framed some very large pieces for me at a great price. On multiple occasions he has worked with me getting matts and other stuff when I am in a time crunch for a show.
His work is amazing. His dog is amazing. Doug is amazing.

Doug is certainly the best framer on the West Coast. He’s probably in the top 2 for the USA and top 10 for all the framers in the world.
Calling him an expert is putting it mildly; he is a master framer.

I can’t say enough about how great an artist like Doug is to work with. If you are looking for KILLER custom frame work this is the man to go see. Even as I write this I feel like the review doesn’t do it justice.
My wife got me two prints framed and I am super happy I decided to come here. I have done other stuff at other framing areas here in Orange County but it was not the same experience. Doug has a great eye for what is going to work and what will not work.
Prices are also comparable to what you will find out there in the market. But I feel like going here if you want to get super crazy and customize beyond what you think framing can do the price is still great. Thanks again for getting my prints done. CHEERS!!!

Totally and absolutely dropped the ball on me. I needed something for a show, had never framed anything so large, so didn’t know what I wanted, had a lot of questions (which maybe annoyed him), but found him to be unresponsive (for the most part, or as he liked to put it, he was just too busy… I mean, look at his website, he does not even have a phone number on it, you only get a phone number if you email him and he happens to email you back); he was sporadic in his pricing, and in the end super unreliable (after telling me he would no matter what frame my piece, he had almost three months to frame one piece for me). If he didn’t want to do the piece, he simply had to write me an email about it. It really is that simple. Instead, I got an email reassuring me that he would get to it after the holidays. Yeah, that never happened, even after two emails to him wondering when he was going to pick up the piece. The art world is a small place, and after a gallery recommended him to me just recently, when I asked who their framer was, I most assuredly corrected them by telling them my experience, and that I would never use him again. Thankfully, I found a framer in time, but it seriously could have hurt me, considering he told me he would begin framing it three weeks before my show, and then dropped off the face of the planet (and I know nothing serious happened to him, because the gallery who had originally recommended him, seemed to have contacted him recently). Maybe other people will have better luck, I sure was not impressed, and will not be recommending.

Doug is the man. Over the last three months I have had quite a number of very large to small pieces framed, all top quality work. He takes a lot of pride in his craft, very refreshing.

I have gone to Framing Devil for a little over a year now and have had about 10 pretty high value prints framed here. The work he does is FAR better than any Aaron’s Brothers type shop as he is more knowable on framing and conservation. On top of a awesome job his prices are insane for the work you get, would not take my stuff anywhere else.

Doug is amazing. I have a tendency to get ideas into my head about how I’d like pictures, prints, or even just random items from my house framed; Doug listens, and then manages to bring my ideas to life. His talent knows no bounds. I cannot tell you how wonderful he is. If you ever need anything framed the Framing Devil is where to go.
