Fuego Lounge

Love this place! We always have a great time here. Beautiful view, good drinks good ambience. The music kind of sucks though, very old school they never play new music.

Went here last night… The atmosphere was great. It wasn’t too crowded. We had a section in the middle right next to the DJ. We was turnt up. Drinks were good… DJ played the songs we requested. Our waitress was amazing… Next time we will try the food. But great place. Love everything about it. It will be the new spot for us…

Lots of AstroTurf. Not the luckiest view of DTLA — too low, you mostly see stuff getting built, and the Staples center.
Weird VIP sections with ugly people making out.
It’s kitsch. Unnecessarily expensive faux — Vegas. My drink was strong.

I was really hoping this place was going to be an awesome bar/​lounge experience… and it was a big disappointment. I gave this place at least one star for the rooftop view… it’s nice. I gave it another star for the Taco Man they have there. Other than that, that is all Fuego Lounge deserves.
Prices to expect when you come here (as of ¹¹⁄₂₀₁₅)
Parking is $ 20 — That’s pretty typical when it comes to LA parking
Specialty drinks are $ 12 (beers and mixed drinks are $ 7-​$ 10) — Again, pretty typical of LA bars/​clubs, but they are pretty weak.
Hookah is $ 50 — It’s for the entire night and it’s free refills… unfortunately they are e-​cigarrete based typed hookahs (no coals or real hashish) so liquid based flavors
The service is TERRIBLE. They have a lot of incompetent bartenders and they struggled to service a large group of people in line. There were only 3 bartenders on duty… and 1 of them only dealt with orders from the waitresses… so technically 2 bartenders working the ONLY bar on a Saturday. Wait times ranged from 15 mins — 30 mins. They had four beers on tap, when my group got there at 10 pm… 3 of the 4 beer kegs were tapped out (with no plans on getting a new one). This was at 10:00 pm!!!
Fuego Lounge music is alright (mix up Spanish pop songs and current/​throwback hip hop songs). There is a small dance area (I wouldn’t say floor necessarily) that people dance on occasionally. Another situation is that they close it at 12:30 pm. So your rooftop lounge fun will end short. You can head downstairs to Don Chente… mariachi music until closing, but very different vibe.
Fuego Lounge is a wannabe Miami, FL lounge in Los Angeles, but it’s far from it. There are better rooftop lounges in DTLA (like The Standard), don’t go here unless you’re really desperate for a place to drink in DTLA.

Yawn. Really only appeals to a certain crowd. They have a psychic in the corner of the place with a booth. That made me really uncomfortable. And then she went around advertising herself. What? I’ve never seen such a thing.
The bar was hugely disappointing. We waited like 10 minutes (and I’m being nice) for the bartender to acknowledge us. And when he did, he wasn’t very nice. The drink wasn’t good either. Won’t be back

Got one star cuz of the AMAZING view. WORST SERVICE EVER! It wasn’t even a full house it was empty??? We Were there from 9:30 pm til closing and asked 2 different waiters and 1 manager for service to place an order and NO ONE CAME THE ENTIRE NIGHT! we had to go up to the bar ourselves even though we reserved a booth and tables. And we had to go to get our own food at the bar too! It was awful! DJ was shit might as well connect Pandora. Only good thing is got some good pics with a great view of DTLA. NEXT TIME JUST NEXT DOOR TO EL COMPADRES!

3 stars just because the service Sucks ! The Waitress have more tables to serve then they possibly can handle. We got their at rsvp time which was 9oclock for a birthday celebration. A nice tall bald security (which I didn’t get a name for) sat us down and was very helpful throughout the whole night there was only so much he can do, being only the security man though.
Well, we didn’t get serviced by our «waitress» until almost 1030 ! No drinks no food no nothing from her. Totally ignoring us, for smaller groups all around us.
When we finally did get her attention she started getting all our orders (30+ of us) took our pre sale tickets for drinks and only brought some of the drinks out… Once again ignored for about 45min or so, with reminders to her of where my drinks were i was ignored again for another hour or so. until I finally decided to stand up and get my own drink from her at the bar. She apologized and we never saw her at the table again!

But the View, the food and the atmosphere is amazing ! The music was also very well randomized to different genres. I would def go back. And will def be self serving myself

Love this place! It has a great view of DT LA! its a nice place to chill out and relax and enjoy cali nights with friends lounging around with good drinks and also Hookah!

This place is awesome! The rooftop view is amazing & it just has such a good environment. It’s not 21 and over, if you’re under 21 the security guards at the entrance just put a bracelet on you. They have a dj, the bar, and a taco man. Their drinks are mostly $ 12. They sell appetizers such as pizza, wings, or seafood. The waiters are so kind! And if you download an app they use, they take $ 15 off your tab. If you’re splitting your tab whoever else is paying with you can also download the app and receive $ 15 off too. Such a great variety of music and a small dance floor. They close at 12 and invite you to go downstairs to Don Chente afterwards Awesome!!!
