I had been looking for a personal trainer for about a month now — avid attendee of 24HF working out solo is not working for me — I run, stretch, lift weights — but Im not getting the motivation to «take me to the next level» to stave off gravity and the effects of being in the 30’s. He had me at «Free» — I read about the complimentary bootcamp( ), for all levels — right here on Unilocal — so I gave it whirl! Woke up early, arrived early — the trainer, Alfredo, was there early — setting up for the session. He was sure to ask me about my health and current exercise regimen along with my current diet(or in my case, lack of diet). Alfredo was patient and listened to my exercise goals —(im sure he quickly assessed that i need a whole LOTTA work — heh heh — all the late night UYE eating had caught up with me.) The moment(actually it was an hour — but it flew by like a blink of an eye) of truth: I came, I saw, I got my butt kicked(didn’t exactly«feel» it at that time) The way this trainer worked me, seemed to «maintain» my high energy level throughout the session — intervals of cardio & conditioning, working ALL muscles, top, down, back, front, side — quite a few fun and unique methods like the«PUSH-UP» or the«BALL». Warning: these all seem like you are not«working out» but the following day you will KNOW you were worked! My motto: «its not working if it doesn’t burn the next day» All in all — aside from the pain associated with wanting to get in shape or my desire to fit into my size 0 jeans. This trainer seriously listened to my needs and my goals. Alfredo has exteme knowlege of not only diet and exercise, but lifestyle at a human level — making small changes(posture, nutrition, balance) and powerful insight to make a change unique for MY lifestyle. He knows more than just strengthening my weaknesses but created a special menu plan and worked muscles I forgot I had, along with providing supplements and perfecting my physical strengths with a plan specific just to me. No cookie cutters here. Alfredo, you rock!
