MITA IS A MIRACLE WORKER.
Honestly.
One of my favorite shirts got chewed up in a really ragged way – holes with frayed edges on the front side and back. I thought it was a goner.
But a friend recommended Mitra, so I took the shirt in, she was extremely nice and quoted me a fair price.
I picked it up today (it was ready a day early), and what had been in tatters now looked pristine, and I couldn’t even see how she did it! The shirt had a pattern and she somehow magically matched it, I really can’t figure out how.
All I know is that a favorite shirt that was in critical condition was brought back to the life by Mitra. THANK YOU!
Highly, highly recommended.
(TIP: she doesn’t accept credit cards, so bring cash!)

I have lived in Los Angeles my entire life, and I’ve tried many tailors. Mitra is BY FAR the best in town! I’ve been using her for the last 5 – 10 years. The quality is beyond compare and her prices are reasonable considering. I’ve had her do simple things and very complicated things, and I’ve been very happy with every single job. If you care about your clothing, Mitra is who you want to make your repairs and alterations.
Mitra is still in the back of a clothing store, but the store is now between Vibrato and Charlie’s Pantry.

I was looking for a tailor and mistook it for another, but I’m so glad I went in! Mitra is so nice! She did an amazing job on a chiffon dress I had her tailor for me. It was perfect and couldn’t even tell it was taken in. She remembers you by the clothes she tailors for you, which I thought was funny! I sent a few other things to be taken in and plan on using her for more tailoring. I trust her with all my clothes!

First things first, the location. It is in the Glen Centre but more importantly, its hidden in the back of a clothing store. It is between the «pet store» and the Bel Air Postal.
I’ve been coming to Mitra for years now, even before she had her own company. The things she can do in repair garments in true remarkable. She has repaired pants, jackets, suits, sweaters and a duvet for me. Also altered a halloween costume and made 3 large tablecloths. This absolutely my favorite alterations place to come to. Moreover, everyone there is so nice! I can’t recommend this company enough.
