My favorite place to eat in Chinatown. Small, cozy, delicious, and priced well. And nice people too

Whenever I do my Chinatown excursion, I would walk by this place all the time, so finally I told myself that I need to go here. I took my son and daughter on a Saturday afternoon, the place wasn’t very big and it’s cash only. The employees are just there to serve you, not to be your friend, being friendly employees is not their forte. We ordered the following: Meatball phở($ 6): price is very good and the soup was very yummy. Lots of noodles and veggies. Beef Phở($ 6): very good. This is a great item for first time Vietnamese eaters. Pork Chops and Pork Meatball with Rice($ 6.50): Very good. lots of meatball and huge pieces of pork chops. Bun Bo Hue($ 6.50): Yum!!! This is probably my favorite Vietnamese dish. I love the pork loaf to the pork hock in their spicy flavorful soup. I will definitely go here again when I’m in Chinatown.

Great place to eat at for lunch. The owner of Gigi restaurant opened this place up and told us to come here and try out this place. 3 new items which are Bun Xeo, Curry Chicken, and Hanin chicken. If the first restaurant is packed, come here. It has nice air conditioning as well.

Recently checked out the newly opened Grand Star Bisto before heading to a Dodgers game. The owners of Gigo’s Café down the street took the spot over during the day to offer up some good Vietnamese food. The portions were good sized and very reasonably priced. I had an order pork chop and grilled meat ball with broken rice. It was accompanied with some shredded carrots and radishes, cucumbers, and a side fish sauce. The menu had a wide variety of other Vietnamese dishes and I’ll definitely be back. Good luck and I wish the best
