Ordered their S&M burrito(shrimp and meat). Taste was OK, but way too much sauce, wet, sloppy and a lot of gristle in the meat. Low quality beef.

Straight up BOMB!!! Hella good food and even better service. These guys work really hard and they always deliver with speedy service that doesn’t compromise quality of food. I recommend the torta or the Nachos. The Sopes are ridiculous too. I will definitely eat at this truck any chance I get.

Looks like it the prices have gone up quite a bit since these other reviews have been out. I ordered an asada combo burrito came out to 8 bucks. The size is pretty good. I still believe i got my moneys worth. The didn’t skimp on the meat and it wasn’t all filler beans and rice. Not bad for a truck and it was done really fast always a thumbs up when I’ve got an hour lunch.

Less than average tacos, nothing to really rave about here. Especially for being a food truck, more on the expensive side and tastes like fast food tacos I could get for like .99. Underwhelming, save your money and go elsewhere!

I was really looking forward to having lunch again at this food truck. I walked down at 2pm and they said they were closed even though they were supposed to be there until 2:30pm. That’s not 5 or 10 mins sooner, that’s 30 mins sooner. They were very matter of fact and unapologetic. Apparently they were having a slow day. Well that’s too bad, G’s def just lost a patron.

They hit the spot today! G’s was in playa today and I got the asada tacos dorados special & it was just right. The tortilla shell was perfect & the rice was yummy. The meat was a little bland but their spicy salsa verde was so good it made every bite delicious! My coworkers got the S&M burrito and they were really happy with it! It was savory, packed with ingredients & just right for the price.

Tried this place at YouTube Space LA. I got two chicken and 1 asada tacos. The chicken tacos were really good. The asada had a weird taste. I didn’t even eat it and I don’t turn down a taco! I was very disappointed with the asada taco but the chicken definitely made up for it!

One of the best carne asada burritos I’ve ever had came from G’s Taco Spot! If only they had an actual restaurant location so I could find them easier!

We booked G’s Taco Spot to cater a company dinner party. BEST decision ever. They showed us they’re worthy of a 5 star rating — and here’s how: Timeliness: They arrived early and immedately started a very professional setup. They had thought of everything — tarp, tent, tables — you name it they had it. Tastiness: The food was fresh and in generous supply. In fact — we had a number of requests(flour and corn tortillas — etc) and Gilbert met them without blinking an eye. The fish tacos were a huge hit, as were the pork — but I didn’t get one bad comment about any of the tacos and we had the steak and chicken as well. Service: Man these guys were professional! Very courteous and patient with a large amount of requests. I’m talking about asking them the day before the event to add new items to the menu — and it was no issues at all for them. They handled things so beautifully we will for SURE be booking them again. As will other departments here. Well done G’s Taco Spot. You’re awesome!

Came to the USS Iowa for an event and the boyfriend was hungry. I was skeptical at first, I like my tried and true taco truck in Los Angeles. But I’ll be honest once I started reading the menu items, they all sounded good and a little different. The boyfriend was dead set on the all meat burrito. We asked the gal what she recommended out of the things he and I were feeling and she said the burrito was filling. SOLD You think an all meat burrito would be skimpy or blah meat but it was amazing flavorful at the first bite. I loved the burrito and ate half lighting fast. Thank you for a super scrumptious burrito. We had the asada, with the onions, cilantro and spicy salsa on the burrito. 5 stars for sure!

This was one of the food trucks at the Night Dive at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Wet & wild fries! Yumm! Next time I’ll have to actually try the tacos.

The chicken tacos were hokay-fine with 3 little hombres for $ 7.34 but man, do they have to gouge you everywhere else they can? $ 0.50 for credit card charges and $ 5.50 for two small waters??? You know it cost them $ 0.25 per so why the huge mark-up? Gas prices are way down and«Gourmet» shouldn’t have to mean«French proportions»(teeny) or «Euro-gouging»(«Fuck you, Yankee!»). This isn’t Paris, n’est-ce pas?

We threw together a graduation party for our daughter and looked through Unilocal for a taco bar caterer. Fortunately, G’s was available and they were terrific. On the business side, they were very communicative, returned our calls, answered our questions, adjusted our numbers when we figured out how many people were coming, put all the details in a simple but complete contract, and their prices were reasonable. On the logistics side, Gilbert and Jose showed up on time and they brought everything: tables, grill, serving equipment, plates – they set up quickly and cooked everything fresh. They created an entire cooking and serving area in a small space outside that looked both professional and homey. It was completely worry-free for us, the hosts. On the cuisine side, the food was great. Everything was really good, not greasy – this was just like the kind of street taco that makes you feel lucky to live in Los Angeles. The chips(I usually skip the chips!) were amazing and I could tell they had been made only hours before the party. We had beef, chicken, and pork tacos, each guest got 3 of their choice plus rice and beans, choice of fresh salsas and toppings. Every guest complimented the food and thanked us for the terrific dinner. All we had to do was buy the soda and beer and put out some munchies for when people arrived. When we have people over we usually just barbecue ourselves or order pizza so having G’s come in and cook for us felt«fancy” – but was surprisingly low-key and affordable. Next time you are having a party, treat yourself to a night off from cooking and call Gilbert. I do not usually write reviews but since we found G’s on Unilocal and our experience was so positive, I am happy for the chance to give them a shout out.

The truck is visiting our office at 100 Corporate Point in Culver City today and I just got an Al Pastor Burrito. Delish!!! Tip: Get the spicy salsa and add cheese. The onions are great because they are grilled not raw. The flavor of the meat is authentic, rich and wonderful. For $ 7, one burrito can last for 2 lunches. I hope to see you in West L.A. again soon(come to 1st Fridays in Venice)!

2 stars means I’ve experienced better. I’m sure that’s a matter of each Unilocaler’s opinion. But it’s stand true. The first negative experience — I purchase burrito and 2 drinks — $ 10 and charged .$ 50 for using my card. That’s a big deterrent. For that alone, if I knew before hand I would have gone elsewhere. Today on Glendon and Wilshire. I ordered the fish burrito. I can take a medium spice pleasantly and I’ve had mango pico de gallo before however this burrito was super hot. I only ate a 1⁄3 of it. I tried to pick out just the fish and that was also ruined. I don’t think they made it correctly or their cook is sabotaging them. Unfortunately I was eating this at my desk and I can’t waste time bring it back. I’d like to cancel my credit charge if possible. My co-worker also asked for his to be mild. I heard him say it twice and his was super hot too. We wasted our money. I wish could be a fan and support small businesses but I won’t be returning. Be weary taste your food first.

Just tried their tacos — shrimp, chicken, fish and they were preeetttty awesome. 3 for $ 6 so reasonably priced. Each had a special flavoring/sauce which I appreciate. Will definitely be back if I see this truck around!
