My lunch time spot! I have yet to come during happy hour but trying to make it soon! I the bbq sliders. The staff is very friendly and make coming here real enjoyable.

Lady posse happy hour! Our group of 4 met up before a movie for happy hour. Great service, my water glass was never empty and we were treated very well. We shared the nachos, burger and fries, poutine and a kale salad. Everything was delicious and very generous portions for the price.

I don’t know what else to say about this place other than WOW. Came here last night to have dinner after a friend recommended it and boy he was on the money. I walked in to find out Tuesday is the best happy hour they have all week. I ordered there brisket poutine fries and chicken wings and was blown away. I can still taste the delicious gravy they poured over them :) What also blew me away was the ridiculous prices for happy hour and portion. Both items for happy hour were $ 6 and were full portions. The poutine in my estimation was easily at least 1 pound of food, and the wings were more like drumsticks. Had to take home leftovers because I could finish it. They also have an all day special of a burger, fries and beer for $ 13. I will be back!

I met up with some friends here on a Wed. night. We arrived around 6 and it wasn’t too busy. We had a rather large group but the restaurant was able to accommodate us without a hitch. This place has a good happy hour menu so I highly recommend coming here during that time. Pros: Decent size happy hour menu, good service, friendly staff, clean, & pretty good food. Cons: Their fries are the thick-cut kind, which are not my fave. Parking on site is valet only. Bathrooms are single stall only. Handy tip: If you’re picky about valet(like me), park at the mall! It’s free for 3 hours and only a short walk away from the restaurant.

Great local bar, with very good beer and food selection. Def try their burger and the pastrami fries both very good. Parking is on the street and ok depending on time of day. Nice little area with lots of small bars and restaurants nearby if you want to grab a drink somewhere else. They have an open air space and have plenty of nice big TVs to watch sports.

I’ve been here ~6 times now and I honestly think the best has already occurred. Recently they changed something about the burgers, and they’re thin patty’s, not really satisfying if you’re paying $ 10+ for a burger. It used to be a killer deal if you did the $ 13 burger, fries, beer combo(especially with their reasonably prolific tap selection), but the burgers just aren’t that good on their own without adding toppings, and the bill ads up pretty quick. You add that to a thin flimsy patty: eh. I still like the place, especially with the large open windows, tons of TV’s, friendly atmosphere, American gastropub food, and craft beer selection. But the prices are too high, the happy hour deals aren’t that good, and they recently changed their burgers for the worse. I’m not sure if I’ll be going back again for the burgers, maybe just for an appetizer and some drinks.

Stopped in here after a movie and found it pretty entertaining. New looking pub with good bar food, nachos, burgers etc. All the items have some kind of unique twist to them and it’s not as heavy as you would think. Solid beer selection and very good service. Would recommend and visit again when in the area catching a movie at the landmark.

Tried this place for the first time and very much enjoyed ourselves. First of all, super friendly and helpful service from the hostess to our server to the food runners. The place is quaint and has a great energy, aka can be loud, but just had more of a down to earth, just relax and have fun type of vibe. A smattering of TVs and a pretty good menu. We went with the $ 13 burger, fries and beer deal. Loved it! Tasty, fresh burger, accompanied by a generous portion of hot crispy fries and a draft of your choice. It was a great value and looking forward to coming back to gulp here again ;) Thank you!

I went here last night for happy hour and had a pretty good time! Found easy parking in the Westside Pavilion Mall parking lot(3 hours FREE) and walked half a block down to this restaurant. To be honest, their happy hour food menu is not that much discounted. Most of the items were only $ 1-$ 2 off of regular price. Although, tap beers were all $ 5! If you enjoy dark beers, get the Guinness with nitro! There’s a list of tap beers on the happy hour menu and also some more listed on a black chalkboard on the wall. I actually got the All-Day $ 13 Deal with the Classic Burger, fries, and a beer. You have to pay extra for extra ingredients, even for the cheese! These extra charges are $ 1-$ 2 from what I remember so your burger can get pretty pricey even with the deal. Food Quality: Great. The brioche bun on the burger was soft and added a nice sweetness to the burger. The patty was perfectly cooked to a medium rare, just like how I like it. And the fries were crunchy and not too greasy. The meal was a substantial size, I was pretty full by the end of the meal! To add to the great meal, the service and the atmosphere was good. Our server answered our questions thoroughly and came to check up on us several times during our meal even though it was a pretty crowded night. The restaurant had about 4 – 5 flat screen tvs with a few basketball games on. Great place to come to watch sports since you can get a good view of a TV from all angles of the restaurant.

This review is for the Happy Hour during the early part of the week. We ended up spending around $ 40 for a bunch of drinks and a ton of food with some leftovers to snack on the next day. If you are going to see a movie down the road, this is a really good choice within walking distance. The burger and tacos were great and helped soak up the strong drinks they were mixing.

Good gastro pub in the heart of west LA. Their bar food is good and their drinks are, too. They claim to have the best white sangria in town, but I beg to differ.

Great happy hour spot that goes until 7:30! Been here twice now and I love this place. The staff is nice and the food is yummy. House wine is pretty tasty as all the food I’ve tried so far — hummus and pita, the blackened shrimp, Spanish quesadilla, sweet potato fries. Great spot to have a drink and chill.

Don’t even know how I ended up here, but was glad I did. The place wasn’t crazy packed and the waiter… man did he hook us up with the drinks. No shot glass pouring drinks here. Nice sports lounge-y bar. Might have to come back and check out the atmosphere during games. Either way drinks will definitely be on the menu. Have to keep this place in my brain Rolodex.

HH review! We came on a Tuesday so also got their half off appetizer special on top of their regular HH. They had pretty cheap drinks and they have an extensive beer selection. Their white sangria is delicious! We all got the burger, fries and beer deal which is 13 bucks for the meat and 15 bucks for their homemade veggie patty. I think this is a great deal even with the extra 2 bucks tacked on for the veggie burger. The portions are huge. The veggie patty had nuts in it and was kind of crumbly which is my only complaint. It was falling apart while I was eating it. Oh, they also get you on the extras. If you want to add onions, cheese, etc it’s like an extra 50 cents to a dollar each. Service was good. Very solid HH place. I also liked the ambiance inside.

I was going to update and lower it to 3 stars… The last 2 times I have been there(last Sunday and last night) the service has been poor. However, the bartender(she is always there and great, she had NOTHING to do with the bad service) acknowledged and gave a discount, and was genuinely concerned and wanted to know details. I commend her. On Sunday, it wasn’t crowded, but the waiter seemed to not pay attention much and also was not really paying attention to detail(no ice in drinks, for instance). The food, when it finally came, was its usual good. Last night, it took freakin forever to get food. It was crowded, and the food was good, but it was beyond acceptable in terms of time. I notice the owner has not been there lately — frequently, places lose there mojo when that happens — maybe that is the cause.

Very good food, HUGE portions, very friendly service, and reasonable prices. Thumbs up. We went during the week for lunch, and it wasn’t crowded at all, but I can imagine it getting loud during happy hours. They have a small parking lot, but it’s way easier to park at the mall.

Great spot with a lot of beer and food selections. I’ve been here twice and week and by my frequency, you can tell that I enjoy it. Highlights of this place include: Pastrami Fries Nachos Half off appetizers on Monday and Tuesday nights This place has classic bar food and gourmet bar food and with that has something for everybody. The pastrami fries are unlike anything I’ve seen on any menu, especially at a bar. It’s got fries, thin-cut pastrami, pickles, onions, and 1000 Island Dressing. I know some people I went with found it to pickle-y, but I surprisingly enjoyed the acid contrast. I also really enjoyed the Nachos. Unlike many places where you get nachos that have chips with some beans and meat distantly placed on top, this place has something on each chip. You don’t get to the bottom and lose sight of the toppings. There are toppings with nearly every bite. There is a lot of cheese and everything else and because it’s flattened out, you don’t get gipped. My family also liked the chips and guac because the guac was particularly acidic and my family loves very lime-y stuff. Overall, this is a great choice, especially if you’re going to go Monday or Tuesday where it’s half off appetizers.

The Gulp has a great special during happy hour which is their burger, fries, and any beer on draft special. For only $ 13, you get all of these things which is music to my ears since burgers, fries, and beer are some of my favorite things. Located very close to Westside Pavilion, this place is a great restaurant to stop by before you see a movie at the Landmark or right after you’ve done some shopping. I came in on a Sunday night around 6:30(granted it was mother’s day) and it wasn’t busy. It’s open seating so you can choose where you’d like to sit. My boyfriend and I sat close to the bar to catch the NBA playoffs game. Service was quick and efficient, no frills but also pretty friendly as our server checked up on us a couple of times throughout our meal. We both opted for the burger special and I added cheddar cheese to mine(extra $ 1) and the boyfriend had sauteed mushrooms(extra $ 1). I ordered my burger medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. While it wasn’t the best burger I’ve ever had, it was pretty damn tasty and I can’t complain about the price. I really liked the bun they used, it kind of reminded me of a pretzel bun. The fries were delicious and I loved the orange sauce that came with it. I should’ve asked what it was called, but I forgot. The sauce is really good, so make sure you drench your food in it! I also asked for a side of ranch, and it tasted like it was made in house so it was also delicious. For beers, I can’t quite remember the names but one was like a cherry beer on their rotating tap and I had a belgian beer which was pretty strong 10% alcohol(I’m light-weight). I love their huge beer selection! I will definitely come back and try more beers especially during HH which is basically $ 5 for draft beers. In total, the bill came out to be about $ 30 without tip, so it’s definitely not too pricy for what you get! I love great deals and this is one of them. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they have half off appetizers so I wanna come back for that! This maybe one of my new go to places for burgers and beers!

I really enjoyed my experience here. The servers are extremely friendly and constantly checked up on us throughout the meal. We came during happy hour, which is apparently every day from 5 – 7:30pm(even on weekends!) They had a burger combo deal for happy hour where you get a classic burger, fries, and a beer for $ 13. Their fries are AMAZING. They give you ketchup and a Cajun sauce to go with. The Cajun was great! The burger was pretty good too, but I did find it to be a little oily… still tasty though! I added an additional avocado topping to mine and it was delicious. We also ordered fish tacos on the side. I personally didn’t find them to be that tasty. Nothing special and I probably wouldn’t get them again. Next time I’m looking forward to trying their brisket poutine! This time I didn’t want to overload on the fries… Overall I liked this place! Great atmosphere, solid customer service, and pretty good happy hour deals. Give this place a shot! Also as for parking, they do have valet, but if you just park in Westside Pavilion right next door, the first 3 hours are free!
