Upon entering I noticed that the place was incredibly well cleaned. The lady was sweet when we entered, hospitable in every way you’d wish. The menu was a little intimidating in the way you weren’t sure how good the standard would be. I got the chicken teriyaki which turned out to be so delicious! The veggies were perfect and had a great sauce on them. The rice was the sticky sushi rice-my favorite! I was worried about the terry ski sauce being too much. It ended up being the perfect amount. My boyfriend got a the bulgogi tacos and enjoyed them and is excited to have their bulgogi burger. I will definitely go back here!

This review is for their online ordering and menu! The menu is not updated. There are items that do not exist anymore. When I went to put in my order, they said at first they did not receive an order then they change their mind and said the system was down. When I already receive your confirmation regarding the fact that I was already charged. The owner was rude and at first did not want to make the food.

Came here for lunch. The name(nor any outside signs) does not prepare you for the variety of options on the menu. It’s almost too much to choose from but you start to see a pattern of ingredients used in the sandwiches burgers and tacos(they have sushi and more cuisines represented too). I got the bulgogi burger. The next thing that stands out is that the overall menu is super affordable. Simple generic bun, the usual lettuce tomato and onion mix and a generous portion of meat. The bulgogi was good with a dab of BBQ sauce, for the price it was delicious. The fries were fine too, not very crispy but they were definitely fries. Overall good experience. and the employees are as nice as other reviewers indicated. I’ll definitely come around again to see what else is good.

Everyone from our office comes here. We love the quality, variety, and the sweet little owner. Haven’t had one thing that’s not delicious. The Chinese chicken salad with mandarin oranges, scallions and crispy wanton noodles is a staple(the dressing is so simple but so perfectly balanced). If you’re like me and are normally opposed to spending any money on a tuna sandwich unless it’s special, you should try hers(she layers it neatly with tomato, lettuce and cheese if you like) … it’s probably one of the most ordered sandwiches at the office, as a result. Ingredients are fresh, the shop is clean and very mom and pop. Has really good prices for the area.

One of the best burgers in town for such a generous price. Egg rolls and zucchini are delicious as well. Disregard all these wanna be foodie critics. They are ridiculous. This shop not only has a few amazing items and some other fill in options but it’s run by a lady who works twice as hard as most of us and is super sweet. Love this place

The ratings on this place further solidify my belief that no one who writes reviews on Unilocal in Los Angeles has any clue what decent food tastes like. This place is disgusting. I’m not sure I even ate chicken. I’m not sure what it was but I’m fairly certain it wasn’t chicken. It was tough and chewy and stringy. Gross. Let’s start with the menu. Just about every single cuisine gets a shot here. If they’ve got the equipment to make it they’ll shove it on the menu. There’s Japanese, Chinese, American, Korean, British. There’s smoothies and various other drink concoctions. The food was bland. What you could taste was absolutely disgusting. I love french fries and won’t walk away from even bad fries, even cold fries. I walked away from these. How you can screw up fries is completely beyond me. TL;DR: Gross. No. Yuck. Don’t go here.

I’ve eaten here before, but parking sucks so I couldn’t go there as often as I would like. However, the restaurant is now taking delivery orders at . Yes! Ordered twice for delivery already, and both times the orders came in within the hour time frame, and the food were hot and the sodas were cold. Fried chicken — you must order these. I know they are meant to be a sandwich shop, but hawt deym THESEAREGOODFRIEDCHICKEN!!! French fries — it’s ok. They give you a lot for the price. Cheeseburger — it’s ok. Neither good or bad.

Yes, they have too many options. Yes, I probably wouldn’t get the sushi. Yes, it’s not a fancy sit down place. I’m judging this solely based on the burgers and chicken sandwich wraps. Both are delicious and more than worth their cost. I do recommend they tighten up the menu and stop trying to do everything.

Not much from the outside, but a very solid spot! Haven’t explored the menu much. Everything I’ve ordered so far has been solid. Burger was really satisfying. Very clean on the inside. Menu is all over the place from sushi, to smoothies, to meaty sandwiches. I wouldn’t roll the dice on sushi here. That’s just me. Don’t overlook this place if you need a quick bite in the area!

Was good very many years ago when it was opened and owned by the Koreans. Looks like it has changed ownership. I tried it recently and was dissappointed. The steak sandwich, which was their signature sandwich was awuful.

Cute little restaurant. The Korean lady who owns this shop is very nice. They have tables to dine in but to warn you there is no restrooms be ready to ask for extra napkins because there is no way you be able to wash your hands. But the lady is very sweet and knows my usual order today I walked in after my work out from the gym and telling me my order. The Harvey burger with everything but no onions so delicious. This is my go to burger place.

Don’t judge the book by its cover. The same goes for this cozy joint. When I walked in, I was shocked by the clean condition on the inside, which was not expected from the mundane exterior. Running my own business, I am fully aware of how much work it requires in order to maintain a restaurant in a clean state, especially in older buildings. The space is cozy and you can really tell the owners dedicate their heart to maintaining all the details. Harvey’s has it all — sushi, hamburgers, Korean bbq, and even tacos! My husband and I ordered the kalbi, spam musubi, and chicken teriyaki. The food was all reasonably priced, ranging between $ 5 to $ 13, and the wait was very short, a bit under 10 minutes! Sometimes I can’t even get a cup of coffee for $ 5 in 5 minutes, so I was pleasantly surprised once again. The Korean lady is ever so sweet. I think I will definitely come back for nights when I don’t feel like cooking and cleaning.

A Korean, Japanese, Mongolian bbq, steak sandwich and burger place. It’s not bad for a quick lunch but the bread for the sandwiches are too much and the fillings gets lost. I might be back for a burger or one of the Korean bqq plates but the sushi rolls look to be average. There is a good amount of options so if you’ve got a mixed group Harvey’s could be a good option. Service is mom and pop friendly but parking can be a chore as it’s on a busy street corner. There is a $ 10 credit card minimum.

Ordered a cheese steak and cheeseburger, combos fries well. WELL! They cooked the burger then completely spaced the steak. So …waiting for 30 minutes to get lunch. Oh how cranky time. Finally. The fries were hot and money. Almost cheered me up. From one to two stars. The cheese steak makes no improvement, not good. Chinese teryaki meat, Two small plops, not legit. It was a good roll tob so it’s a shame. Line out the door, sorry.

Part sandwich shop, part sushi joint, part korean restaurant, Harvey has all the makings of a completely random, but somehow make sense, of a nice little neighborhood, quick bite joint. Not the best sit down place, so to go is probably your best option. First off, the Pastrami sandwich is suppose to be the star of the show, however, if that’s not your fancy they do have a nice little collection of dishes ranging from teriyaki chicken to sushi rolls. For my first visit, the boy ordered the pastrami sandwich combo, which came with a bag of crunchy fries and a cup of soda($ 10). I ordered the teriyaki chicken, just due to curiosity($ 7.55). The sandwich, according to the boy, was a good size and flavored well, but a little on the salty side. The fries were nice and typical of chunky fries. In terms of the chicken teriyaki, it was okay… but definitely not an item I would order again. Not sure if it was the case, but the chicken was reminiscent of frozen, pre sliced chicken and lackluster in flavor. Was the sandwich amazing? No. Was it good and satisfying if you’re craving a giant sandwich loaded with hot pastrami? Sure.

Yawn. Ya know, just another run-of-the-mill sandwich & sushi shop. Huh? What? Yep, that’s right, and that’s so NOT what I expected to find. «Pastrami» and«Philly Cheesesteaks» are smothered all over the outside windows and awnings making it very intriguiging(and very saucy). For weeks, I’ve been driving past Harvey’s this way, and then that — but how many times does it take before I stop to get me some of this? Finally, on May 29, 2013 — I couldn’t take it – it was my intent to get a Cheesesteak. The style, the signage, gave me an image of a friendly ol’ cook named«Big Al» from Chicago, «Pistol Pete» from Philly, or «Jersey Jay» from well, Jersey. Instead, it’s run with an Asian twist, very sweet staff, and offers a few hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, breakfast burritos, and then the interesting add of teriyaki, fresh-to-order sushi rolls, Kalbi tacos, and mango smoothies to boot! Once inside, it doesn’t have the feel of a diner, instead it’s like a little casual fast-foodie spot, but the menu with its variety… I suppose it qualifies. Fresh sushi rolls threw me off the scent of the cheesesteak. I was distracted. I was in a quandary. Do I sway from my original intent? I focused, regained control, and got back on the cheesesteak trail. Yes, and for a couple of bucks more, I upgraded to a combo with fries and a soda($ 11.23), took it ‘to go’ and jammed home with my prize. The cheesesteak was a good 10″, served on big fluffy french roll, filled with fresh mushrooms, green peppers, and onions. – the shaved beef was tender, seasoned, and perfectly cooked… but, seriously, where’s the beef? Problem #1: The meat portion was way too little. I felt with each bite I was getting a bit of beef with a whole lot of bread. Problem #2: Why oh why would crappy processed cheese be used? Sticky Jack cheese, and gooey. Nachos from 7 – 11 maybe, but not on a sandwich. Throw 2 – 3 slices of real, sliced cheese over the beef in the final stage of the grill. Done. Parking on the street is at a premium. I’ll try the sushi rolls(which looked great), and the Kalbi tacos, both are too interesting to me., After, I’ll update this review. I’m praying this locally owned place can kick it up a star.
