I tried the teriyaki bowl. Not bad for 3.99! They have big proportions. The only negative is that it was hot inside and the parking situation is horrible!

Great tasting juicy meats. Best portions to share. Good drink options. Pour your own condiments. Great customer service from all the ladies that maintain this place going.

This place deserves more stars than it currently has. They serve Hawaiian and Chinese food and I think it’s great. As a local, sometimes you want the buffet-style food on the go! They’re quick and so generous with their food portions. It’s filling and satisfying for a cheap price! 5 stars!

This place is amazing! My favorite is the bbq mix. I have tried almost every side and every plate in this place and they’re all so good. I enjoy the soups as well but without noodles. The workers are nice, but noticed there is always new workers almost every time I go. The only people I see that been working there for so long are the chefs. I totally recommended this place. It’s really good.

This place is really bad. If I could give 0 stars, I would. First off, we asked for a cup of water with our order cus we didn’t want soda. The cashier just rudely told us that they didn’t have water. Wtf? Every food establishment has to have water available for their customers! They should just close down and never reopen ever again! I ordered loco moco and it tasted so dry and frozen. It was not fresh at all! I am NEVER coming back even if you pay me. Beware!

FIVESTARS! We live in the area and this is the BEST place for a super CHEAP&LARGE meal. The spicy orange chicken and chow mien is amazing! My boyfriend and i come here all the time. Also one time our card wasn’t working for some reason and the manager just gave us the drink since i had already opened it for free which was nice of him. We are both regulars :)

My friends and I were just looking for a convenient restaurant to grab some Hawaiian food. When I first pulled up to the place, I thought it might be good in a «hole-in-the-wall» way. We were wrong. The food is decent, but if you’re looking for actual Hawaiian food, go elsewhere! I ordered the loco moco, a classic local Hawaiian dish that consists of rice, a hamburger patty, an egg(usually done over easy) and most importantly, gravy. The cashier who took my order did not ask me how I wanted my eggs, and when I tried to say over easy, she looked at me with confusion and tried to sell me an egg roll. To be fair, I don’t think she understood english besides the menu items. In the end, I said nevermind and hoped for the best. Well, I did not get my eggs over easy. They were done well and worse, there was NOGRAVY. I was so disappointed. Never before have I had a loco moco without gravy. This may seem trivial, but without gravy, it’s not a loco moco. It’s just beef, eggs, and rice. This is not a good place for authentic Hawaiian food or good service.

Okay, so here’s the bottom line: if you’re looking to eat some good, local kine Hawaiian BBQ, this is NOT the place to go. This place is basically like if an old ex-Panda Express worker tried his best to make some Hawaiian food. Truthfully, that’s what this place is really. The main thing they serve there is cafeteria style Chinese fast food. The Hawaiian dishes they make to order– and not well. I ordered one Loco Moco and it was just two dry burgers(with NO gravy!!), two overcooked eggs, barely enough rice, and the most basic mac salad you can imagine. On a bed of weird cabbage. No need. After eating I felt unwell… should’ve guessed with the B health rating. Still not convinced? They do NOT actually have Lau Lau or Kalua Pig, as their online menu would have you believe. If you can find anywhere else to eat, I recommend it. Try Ono’s, Rutt’s Café or L&L’s.

I actually liked the food here. Got the BBQ combo and everything tagged about Ono quality. Not sure about the Chinese food, and 1 star dock for the flies flying around. She’s dangerous and high brow she is not. But i’ll be coming back for the cheap decent ways as long as the next few days are explosion free(when you figure that out, sorry for the visual).

My family is Chinese from Hawaii, this place has both foods. I was stoked when I saw it. My roommate and I had no food in the fridge one night, so we finally decided to try it out! When we went there I tried the Hawaiian good and my roommate tried the Chinese food.(I was disappointed that they didn’t have any laulau or kahlua pork, as those are two of my favorite things!) The Hawaiian food had to be ordered. The Chinese food was ready in warmers and waiting to be chosen. We finally got home to eat the food. I was very disappointed in the Hawaiian food. It did not have any if the flavors I was looking for and used to. On the other hand, my roommate seemed to enjoy the Chinese food. A few weeks later we went there again with a friend and we all ordered Chinese food. And it was pretty good, if you’re in a cheap American Chinese food mood. For how much it cost and how it looked, it was pretty much what I was expecting. I would recommend the Chinese food and not the Hawaiian. But! That is just my personal opinion! Hope this helped!

It’s pretty much a Panda Express if you’ve ever been to one of those, except a lot cheaper. It’s nothing famous in LA, just a quick fast food type place with chicken katsu, BBQ beef, rice, chow mein, egg rolls, the works. As for the prices go, it’s very cheap compared to other fast food places. I think it’s around $ 5.99 for a chicken katsu + BBQ beef combo that comes with rice, salad, and macaroni salad. Given that, it’s pretty solid. It doesn’t go over $ 10 even if you get the combo with rice/chow mein and 3 entrees. It’s fairly cheap and definitely filling, but the taste of the food is nothing more than just food. It’s not awful, although when we went there, they had no katsu sauce or anything like that, so they’re lucky that we’re big Sriracha fans, because they had like four bottles of those things. Other than that, I figure it’s just the owner of the place working there. It’s in a small plaza next to a laundromat and a donut place. Portions are pretty big here, the salad is a bit soggy, so ate one bit and called it quits. Meat isn’t too bad, they give you two big scoops of rice and macaroni salad, and with a can of Coke, it comes out to about $ 6.50. Cheap meal, but nothing to die for.

If you love all things deep fried, you will love this place. There isn’t much vegetarian fare, but oddly enough, the«beef with broccoli» had more broccoli than beef and I’m a little miffed I didn’t order this and kick out the beef. I ordered the seafood platter which came with chicken that I gave away(?) a cheap macaroni salad and plain white rice for 7 bucks. Did it fill me up? Yes Was it amazing? It was 7 bucks, what do you think? Meh Would I order it again? Never Will I gorge myself on the broccoli next time? Hell yeah. I recommend getting it to go, the ambiance is stressful(crowded/hot), and there is parking but don’t come at peak times if you want a space. Over all it’s just another restaurant in a slew of restaurants that doesn’t stand out but serves it’s public well. It seems extremely popular, so I’m probably in the minority here with a meh-tastic review.

If you want your quick mix of Hawaiian food or Chinese food this place is my go-to! Spam musubis just like made at home only for $ 2! Probably best deal for the price in LA. Definitely recommended!

I love Hawaiian BBQ and pass by here all the time. Figured I’d stop in for lunch. I ordered the chicken katsu and they had it cooked promptly, and presumably fresh from the looks of it! They serve Chinese food as well however I opted for the Hawaiian staple menu. The chicken katsu is really good however not the best I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to grab some piping hot katsu sauce on the side. Five stars because I have zero complaints. I’ll come back if I’m passing by and craving some Hawaiian BBQ!

Ate here a couple of times before mostly because I’m to lazy to cook, idk weather it’s Hawaiian or Chinese maybe Chinese because my toilet was clogged for hours after I ate some rice, orange chicken that tasted way to much like orange and the bbq chicken was good, payed $ 7.99 which is a rip off since it’s suppose to be 5.99, maybe because I’m white they charged me extra.

This place used to be ok. I ate here on Friday and was sick until Saturday. I ordered a chicken teriyaki Bowl w broccoli instead of rice. The Chicken tasted ok for about 3 bites, then I noticed that old taste. One bite of chicken was so charred that for a minute I was pulling black bits out of my mouth. The sauce from the broccoli was so greasy that it gave everything a slimy like consistency. I threw my food away after about 5 bites. I will never come back to this place.

Their Hawaiian food isn’t all that great, but their Chinese food is where it’s at! Orange chicken and spicy chicken are delicious. Best Chinese fast-food in the area.

AREYOUKIDDINGME! I pass by here every day, and I LOVE Hawaiian food, so I thought why not. Ill stop in. I drive by here daily and if its good I can stop in on my way home all the time. I’m on my was home from work craving some Kalua Pork, so I figure ill swing by and grab some here. Try it once finally. Pros: Place is empty. No line. No wait(or so it seems). Cons: Shitty Parking. More so a Chinese food restaurant than Hawaiian(but hey, ill still give it a try). I walk in and review the menu. Looks alright. I find the Kalua Pork I have been craving and order it to go. The cashier is nice and takes my order. I pay with my CC and take a seat while they cook it up fresh.(so I think). About 10 min later, I am still sitting there and one of the cooks comes out of the kitchen and whispers something to the cashier. She walks over to me and say’s «I’m sorry, we’re out of Pork». It took them 10 min with ZERO other customers in the restaurant to discover they are COMPLETELY out of pork?!? She then proceeds to ask if I want to wait and they can POSSIBLY cook something else for me. I have already been here for over 10 min waiting for food that was never cooking. No I don’t want to sit and wait any longer for other food and I don’t really want. I stay calm and tell her no and simply state I would like to just be refunded. She says«Uhmmm. Sorry I don’t know how to do that. Hang on.» I wait another 5 min for her to get someone out from the back, He walks out and just asks for my card again. Swipes it and hands me a receipt for the refund. No apology, nothing. Two weeks later. The refund is still NOT on my card. Only the charge for the food I never got. RUDE! NEVERGOINGBACK!

Not sure why the low ratings although most are od reviews. This is a typical steam table chinese fast food which looks fine to me. but i come regularly for the kalbi plate hawaiian food order. quality and taste are good and price can’t be beat, $ 7. mac salad is pretty good… not runny. I call ahead and order so i dont wait at all for my order of kalbi.

I’ve been coming here for about a year. I was a little skeptical at first, but I do come back at least twice a month, so it was worth the try. This place can be a little misleading – because yes, they do serve Hawaiian BBQ(like chicken, beef, etc.) but they also serve chinese food. You walk in and they have the steam-set up with a variety set of chinese food(orange chicken, spicy orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, beef and broccoli, etc.) that you would commonly find in a Panda Express. The best part? They’re cheap. They recently raised prices $ 0.50 but at $ 4.49 you still can’t beat a two item combo. Their chow mein does not have very many veggies in it(which is great, I don’t like much in my chow mein), so I don’t even bother with getting any rice! They fully stuff their to-go containers till they barely close – definitely worth it. I have never gotten sick from eating there, though the place may look suspicious. They DO have a full Hawaiian menu. Be warned, they make it when you order it, so it will usually take almost 10 minutes for the Hawaiian foods to be ready. Parking can be a pain(the parking lot is in a laundromat, and the other laundromat below them won’t let you park there). Bring 10−15c and expect to pay at the pay meters on the street, its much faster to get in and out. Definitely one of my go to places when I’m craving some chinese fast food. As an added bonus, the female that works the counter(I’ll assume the owner) sounds like Miss Swan from MadTV, hahahaha.
