This is the absolute worst Italian restaurant I’ve ever had the courtesy to order from. My company ordered a large catered quantity of various dishes from here for dinner and we were unanimously disappointed by the utter lack of quality. Let me be clear when I say that I understand catered food is generally of a lower standard when compared to the food you get from sitting in the restaurant. Let’s talk about the«Four Seasons» pizza. I didn’t even know artichoke hearts could be chewy – apparently they can. The proscuitto was an abomination(take a look at the picture). It was dark, thick and chewy – what you’d expect from black forest ham at an Arby’s. The crust was unsatisfying and stale, and the tomato sauce lacked any semblance of balance. I’d write all the horror stories for your amusement but I’m running out of rant juice. 18 bucks for 4 tiny raviolis will never be okay. Ever.

I ordered chicken picatta which was okay. The service was decent. What I did like about this place was that it was well lit and a great place to have a family meal.

I was there for the first time last night at 7:15pm to join my two other friends. The food was all right(pasta with clams) but I will never go back because of the very rude way they tried to make us leave(at least it appeared that way). While we were eating, they started cleaning the kitchen with such a strong smelling cleaning detergent. Their closing time is 9pm, it was around 8:45pm. Kitchen stuff were out of the kitchen playing with smart phone, another stuff was Constantine watching from the counter. At /around 9pm, they made it very so clear that they want us go home. Stuff were wearing his jacket and anxious to go home right in front of my eyes. While eating desert, I started Snelling toxic Bleach. We couldn’t stand it anymore. It was my friends birthday but they certainly didn’t help us enhance the occasion.

Great Jersey style neighborhood Italian place. Everything’s pretty good: lasagna, stews, chopped salad are standouts.

Great food for an even better price. I’ve been coming here for my whole life basically. The staff is incredibly friendly. Try the sandwiches, a margarita pizza to start or the sole milanese. Great specials as well. And crab night on Sunday.

So I walk in to pick up my order, and am promptly ignored for five minutes, which is pretty amazing considering that the place was empty. So after practically walking into the kitchen, I finally get their attention. «I called in an order.» «Spaghetti with meat sauce?» «And sausage.» «Right. They’re finishing now.» So, within ten minutes, they give me my order and off I go. When I get home and open it up, I discover they forgot the sausage. So I call them. After explaining to two people what the issue is, and being put on hold for ten minutes, I was told to call back tomorrow, when the manager will be there. This is a completely unacceptable way to treat customers. I won’t be giving them my business ever again.

The service was good but the place was crowded and noisy and the Chicken Parmesan was bland, even with meat sauce and cheese on it. I seem to remember this place being that way when I was here some time ago. I think maybe instead of going out to eat, I’ll stay home and make myself a peanut butter sandwich.

A few months ago, this was a great place to eat. The food was excellent, and the service both friendly and efficient. Now, however, the place seems in serious decline. We had a large party on a Sunday night. Some ordered pizzas, which were very good; some had pasta as entrees, and they were absolutely vile. That same evening it became clear that the staff was unhappy being there, as there was a level of indifference — bordering on hostility — never experienced there before. I think we’ll take a break from Hoboken for a few months.

Food is good ! Small place, clean and nice . The staff is very friendly and helpful ! It looks like the mean age of the customers is 60+ but that is fine . The take out tastes as good as the in house food . The Chicken Cacciatore is amazing !!

One of the absolute best stuffed artichokes I have ever had! Luis was very sweet and accomodating. Refilled my water and hot tea promptly and engaged in a pleasant conversation because I am here on business and it was very nice of him to ask. Also took a slice of cheesecake back to my hotel, delish! I’ll be back during the week to try other dishes!

I really don’t know why this place doesn’t have more stars. I came in for a special event with my family and there were about 8 of us. I got the dinner special for that night which included some great soup, chicken parmigiana, and a small dessert all for about 16 bucks. Can’t beat that. The chicken Parmigiana was great. It was perfectly cooked, moist and the red sauce was great. Ill be able for this special over and over.

For the most part Hoboken is excellent. I had the Chicken Parmigiana. It was super tender and good. The beer was super cold as was the glass. Just the way I love it. The service could have been a bit more attentive to refills etc. but overall a good experience and meal.

Restaurant has declined in last few years! New ownership has cut too many corners. Old time waiters remain attentive. Quality of food is poor. My husband and I used to be regulars. No longer a nice neighborhood restaurant. In fact, medicore at best! Many, many other better choices nearby.

Love this place really good food which shares kitchen with the twice as expensive Matteo’s next door. Or so I’ve been told. First rate Caesar salad with plenty of anchovies for the asking. Terrific crispy flat bread w. Humus complimentary to start. I always have the scampi w. Angel hair instead of regular pasta and extra garlic. I make this regular stop when in the area monthly. Wonderful attentive service.

On Mondays they have a great special… when you order my favorite chopped salad(or any salad) you get a free pizza. That means salad for me and pizza for the hubby… all for 10.95…great deal :).

Yeah, home style Italian. Eggplant parmigiana is the best, get vegetables on the side if you want to skip the spaghetti. Garlic bread is good. Marinara sauce tomatoey not sweet or loaded with sugar. Tiramisu nice dessert to end the meal.

My boyfriend & I ate here tonight & will definitely return. He had a huge pot roast, & I had the linguini with clams — both were good. There was nothing at all wrong with the food presentation, & the service was great. It’s a nice, casual place to dine.

Yikes. Not coming here again… food presentation was gross(resort to pictures) and the food itself was greasy enough for me to leave leftovers and waste pasta.(A no no for me) Only thing i liked was the crackers in the beginning. The service was good and the prices were reasonable but the food was awful. One star.
