Since I had so much fun the last time they were over, I had Hot Basil Affair plan an afternoon brunch for my friends, including one studying here from Finland and new to American food.
Chef Carla easily made herself at home in my kitchen to cook. It made the place smell inviting, like a homestyle diner, by the time guests arrived.
Hot Basil Affair prepared flavorful dishes using high quality, organic ingredients, including the following:
— MOUTH WATERING VEGETARIAN SAUSAGE QUICHE (see pics)
— MINI CARROT ZUCCHINI OAT MUFFINS
— PROSECCO MIMOSAS
— MARGARITAS
— MANGO SALAD with fresh greens and secret recipe salad dressing
— COCONUT CREME FRAICHE W/​MIXED BERRIES
They even brought a 6 foot folding table to serve brunch outside. It was perfect!
Hot Basil Affair thinks of everything. They even leave my kitchen cleaner than they found it… Great for when I’m eating brunch leftovers well into the week! ;)
