Horrible service!!! Pharmacists should do their jobs. They’re not doctors. Pharmacist actually called my doctor to tell him not to prescribe me medications. That’s the doctor’s job&judgment, based on my chronic illnesses I’d been suffering!

Sooooo bad. I received horrible and extremely rude service by this old lady.(owner) My mom has been a long time customer to this place. Once a month she picks up her medication from here. I noticed her medicine changes all the time. They have been giving her diferent medicine depending on their supply on hand. Of course, with no explanation to her at all. I told my mom not go their but still she didn’t switch to another pharmacy because she became used to going to this particular one. This morning around 10 am, I met my mom at this place because we had a question to ask. This old lady was very rude to us when we asked a question. A very nasty attitude(rolling her eyes, scanning me from bottom of my shoes to top of my head, etc…) She even cursed at me when I told her that she was being rude. She said we shoud not have come to her business in the morning time and ask any questions. Why not??? My mom is a regular customer. I changed pharmacys right after. I think this new pharmacy will take care of my mom. I saw dozens elderly people in and out with smile. This place has nothing to offer their customers. Horrible service, no honesty, no parking and terribly expensive.

Hyundai Pharmacy soldiers on despite competition from a nearby CVS and other Korean pharmacies along Western Avenue. Hyundai — no relation to the South Korean heavy manufacturing concern best known for its cars — is an old-style stand-alone drugstore that is an endangered species. The store stocks mostly medical-related general merchandise along with Korean patent medications and Metro passes. It also fills medications and carries pharmaceuticals as broad as the chains. The big problem is that Hyundai almost always has trouble accessing insurance companies for payments. It will still ask for the co-pay rather than full price, but it seems to be a big hassle for the druggists. Also, the store only keeps banker’s hours. Transit access: Metro Purple Line, Metro Rapid lines 720 and 757, and Metro local lines 16/316, 18, 20/21, 207 and 209; LADOTDASH Wilshire Center/Koreatown and Wilshire Center/Hollywood; and Foothill Transit Line 481.
