I recommend Ian to anyone looking to get their headshots. Ian suggested I book a session for 5:30pm for an outside shoot, for what he called the «magic hour». This is supposed to be the time in the evening where the sun is just setting and there is a sunset glow. The weather and sky was perfect just like Ian had suggested and the whole process was very smooth. I had brought a couple of outfit choices and Ian helped me choose which ones he thought would pop best on camera. He knew exactly what kind of shots would look good and talked me thru the whole process. He was also helpful with my poses and characters I wanted to portray. After the shoot, he said he would get the photo files sent to me ASAP so I could pick my selections. I got the photos back the next day, so fast! They looked great and I was really thrilled with so many options to choose from. Ian edited each selection well and I got them back quickly also. Would definitely use him again and have referred him to my friends!

Ian takes beautiful pictures, and really captures the essence to who he is working with! I know many folks that have loved his work, and he is very reasonably priced also! He takes time to really pay attention to detail, allows tons of comfortability, and is extremely professional! Go Ian! He’s awesome!!!

Ian is the best photographer in Los Angeles. My wife wanted to take pictures of our family. Everywhere we checked the rates were way over $ 500 as we wanted to take many pics of us plus we have 2 year old baby. As we discussed this project Ian suggested we meet in a park. Once we met with Ian he was very professional and took tons of pics. Afterwards he send us many pics to choose from. Once we chose the once we like he did amazing job photo-​shopping pics and fixing little imperfections. Rates were amazing. I would recommend Ian to anyone looking for Affordable yet amazing photographer in LA area.

Ian is an amazing photographer and an all around great person!
I had a headshot session with Ian recently and was thrilled with the photos I got back. He went above and beyond to make the photo session smooth and successful.
He had already done some location scouting in advance of the shoot (we shot both in his studio and outdoors) and the lighting and backdrops looked beautiful. I was very pleased with the quality of his camera/​lights/​set up.
Ian also has a great personality and is very easy to work with. He is a super friendly guy and very fun and pleasant to talk to. He set my mind at ease while we did the photo shoot and I was relaxed and calm while we took photos, which of course always gives a much better result!
All in all, I would highly recommend him to a fellow actor or singer looking for new photos, and I know I will definitely be using him again in the future!
