If there was a possible way to give a NEGATIVE RATING I would. Jacob is a sleazy guy– NEVER TO BE DEALT WITH.
After bringing my hard drive in, he told me that he would look at it for free and then call me to discuss the cost and whether I wanted to move forward. I left my hard drive there… but on my drive home I got a bad feeling so I looked up reviews on Unilocal.Needless to say I called back IMMEDIATELY after reading the reviews. I told him that I wanted to pick up my hard drive. Jacob then told me that he started working on it already. I was beyond pissed at this point. He had basically started working on the hard drive without my consent. I told him that I did not allow him to start working on it because he never gave me a quote. He then called me «Stupid.» I consulted a friend who is an attorney and he told me that I was screwed because this guy was holding my hard drive hostage. I had to suck it up and pay the money. In the end, Jacod did a less than mediocre job after I paid $ 150.00.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. HE IS A THIEF. DO NOT TRUST HIM.

My projector was knocked over and a piece broke off the chip so I searched craigslist to see who could fix it for me and innovative computers came up. Jacob met me close by when I gave him my broken projector and when I picked it up after it was fixed, which was really convenient for me. He did a great job on the project and it works fine now, the turnaround was about a week and he charged $ 65. He’s a nice guy and at the end of the day was trustworthy, I think people have problems with him because there is a language barrier and I can see that throwing people off. He did a good job though and knows what he’s doing.

I had been looking for a low cost way to replace my cracked and non-​functioning laptop screen. They replaced the screen, and adjusted it, at a good price, Will certainly be using them again for the everyday issues I have with my computers.

AVOID THIS JACOB — SCAMMER — LIAR — THIEF
I never gave a negative review before, but this person really drove me to it. I responded to a craigslist ad, that he repairs epson 3800 inkjet printers. I purchased a used one with out ink and he said he could test it for me and let me know if there are any issues, and the price would include a diagnostic, cleaning and a little more if I needed to replace the heads.
This was on June 10, for these services he charged $ 180, and I gave him a $ 100 upfront, he then disappeared. Over the course of 4 ½ months I had about 5 conversations with Jacob, whereby he promised to return the printer and refund my money. He finally returned it on October 24^th after I was fed up with his lies and threatened to sue him if he didn’t.
When he returned the printer he insisted that someone other than himself take it out of his car and carry it inside. So I did it personally, and carefully placed it on the table. Once on the table I noticed that the front cover is broken and the top cover is cracked. He tried to blame me for the damage, stating that it just happened when I took the printer out of his car. There was no work done on it, not a single test print was offered as proof that he actually plugged it in and did something, he just said that I got a bad printer and all the heads are clogged.
When I asked him to return my deposit he started whining about how much work he did, and that he didn’t really promise to give it all deposit, and perhaps he can pay it back with other work by fixing other printers for me, and maybe he can give me only $ 40 out of $ 100, and then when I agreed just to have him leave, he suddenly didn’t didn’t have cash, and I offered to run his credit card, but he said he would if he has to run it himself. I was so annoyed with him that I kicked him out of my store.

Jacob is outstanding. He has no problem coming to your place and will give a fair price despite the high price of gas. He not only repairs but will set your computer up for you and will show you all the modern day upgrades in technology that you can take advantage of on your pc. I highly recommend Jacob and his service.

Twice I’ve had Jacob repair a lap top for me. Both times he has been on the job, fixing what I needed fixed, making them work as they are supposed to. The first time was to replace a bad key board on my HP. Then, to replace the front cover to repair a broken on/​off switch. He rushed the job for me without my asking as he knew I was leaving town two days after delivering it to him for repair. I was delightfully surprised to have the unit available for me to take with me. Great service, easy to work with, good pricing, and all right «in the neighborhood» instead of having to take it downtown to a store front where you become a number. Jacob personally handles everything. He’s my «go to guy» from now on!
