Arrived too early to the airport to pick a friend up so I decided to get my feet done. The place is a little antique with mature estheticians. So I said what the heck why not… OMG!!! Talk persistent!!! They tried to force me to get a fill after I declined several times! Then this woman grabbed my hand to convince me to proceed with the fill. I literally had to yank my hand away and rudely decline before they she backed off. It might be a gem to the locals but it was a nightmare for me! I wish I never stopped. Ps… Lucy is very kind and did a very good job on my pedicure! She did not try to sell me the salon. The one star is for Lucy!

Shaky hands, the coats were not smooth, and the trimming of the cuticles was poor and not much effort was given.

I love this place. Very nice people and they are good at what they do. The service is good and they are inexpensive! They make you feel welcome. It’s close to the LAX airport so it’s a good waiting spot. They aren’t always busy so they can get you in immediately.

Two stars because the place looks run down and dust is literally sitting upon the work lamp and all along the sliding window blinds. I only bring these details up because it makes me wonder«what else is dirty that I can’t see» The price for gel manicure and regular pedicure is $ 37(they have a spa option for more) I’d rather go to the beach«TOEHEAVEN on Main Street» and pay the same amount for the full spa experience. Did I add that they offer old Revlon and cheap«no name» brand nail polish? Gross! Will not be back.

Do. Not. Enter. This place has bad reviews for a reason. I came here based on a recommendation of a specific technician despite the bad Unilocal reviews. My intentions were to remove my gels then reapply. After my nails soaked she started to remove my gels with her dirty nails. No, she did not use the standard scrapper everyone else uses. I even asked where her scraper was and she said I don’t want to damage your nails. That’s a first. Then she whipped out these clearly worn down disgusting files. If the health department visited these files would not pass inspection. At this point I am shocked I am still in the chair. Then she reaches into her desk to pull out the cuticle cutters without any sign of sterilization. After seeing the files I’m sure this instrument was not sanitary. The longer I sat there inspecting the salon and her tools the more uncomfortable I felt. Needless to say, I told her I had to leave before applying the gels. . Oh yeah, there was this sent that reminded me of a funeral home. I am amazed this place is still open.
