Glad to see this nasty place shut down! Hopefully they’ll open something yummy in its place.

I loved the sausage and egg breakfast burrito with their delicious green salsa. I’m pretty sad that they’ve closed down. It was also a great place to grab a big bowl of shrimp tempura udon for lunch. A loss to downtown!

The spicy pork breakfast burrito is great. The combination of spicy pork, rice, beans and a nice runny egg makes for a unique wonderful meal. Order one up, slice it down the middle and make sure to soak up the yoke as you enjoy it!

Just had lunch there about 15 minutes ago. Wanted to try something new away from my office. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t that great either. Got an Alaskan roll, hoping they had fresh salmon. The roll was decent, but it lacked punch and had a slightly fishy taste(the sign of not being fresh). The rice was fairly sticky. Vegetables inside the roll were pretty good. A little wasabi and soy sauce helped. It came with a soggy salad on the side, lettuce looked two days old. It was drenched with vinaigrette dressing. Not good. I might come back to try some of their other stuff, but not overly anticipating it. Might just skip it altogether.

It’s a perfect place to grab a quick lunch and the price is very fair. I tried their Thai wrap and the quality was great. Veggies were fresh and chicken was very tender. It comes with a side of chips and salsa. They also have sushi rolls, sandwiches, and other Korean/Mexican fusion food as well. They make their own sauce from the Korean pepper paste, which goes well with the wrap. The next time I swing by, I want to try their Bulgogi/Kalbi/Spicy pork tacos. There’s decent amount of seating and a TV if you want to take your mind off things and have a quick lunch by yourself.

I was on my way to Oleego one day, when I saw extremely appetizing pictures outside of this place. So I decided to give it a try. It’s a Wrap! Take Two! offers a variety of breakfast, Korean, and Japanese items, as well as wraps. I went with the galbi — one of my favorite things ever to eat. For those who don’t know, galbi is marinated short rib, typically beef from the Korean places around LA. Galbi came with 2 sides and rice. I picked kimchi and cucumber salad. Ray, the owner/operator, is mindful of the many working professionals who frequent his place. He informed me that the galbi would take 10 – 12 minutes to prepare. It’s not a bad prep time for galbi, and I’m not a working professional at the moment anyways. The food came around his quoted time. It was a disappointment. The galbi was on the salty side. I can’t put my finger on what it was about that kimchi, but I really didn’t like the taste. The cucumber salad was perhaps the only truly enjoyable part of the meal. The food really wasn’t bad by any means. Had I not had terrific galbi at many other places, I probably would’ve liked this place better. Oleego, just a short walk away, is probably the better overall option.

I stumbled in here one day in an indecisive panic as my lunch hour was coming to an end, and I still hadn’t decided what I wanted to eat. I ordered a classic chicken wrap, and it was just okay. I loved the creamy sauce and the different textures involved from the cheese to the romaine lettuce, but the chicken itself wasn’t all that remarkable. Fast forward a week, I was inducted into the group office order of Friday breakfast burritos. Spicy pork with runny eggs. I’m a big fan of this now. The pork is grilled Korean style, the eggs were done perfectly over-medium(if slightly under, the whites were perfectly firm, and the yolk was surprisingly abundant), the hash browns soak up the yolk and are a little soft. The red sauce is incredible! This hot and sweet chili sauce just really made the burrito. I look forward to my next burrito.

It’s A Wrap is conventiently located in the lobby of my building. I decided to try it one day when it was raining outside and I didn’t feel like going anywhere. I’ll start with how good the food is then we’ll get to the service… I am a big fan of their food! The breakfast burritos are delicious, so are the breakfast sandwiches. Their bagels are always fresh and they have a good variety. And its all for a good price too! The lunch menu is delicious too! I love their homemade chicken noodle soup and the korean tacos are very flavorful. You can customize any sandwich to your liking and he offers lunch time combos like a soup and half sandwich. Its all very convenient. As for the service… first day I went there the cashier(and I think owner) was very impatient that I had to read the menu and decide even though I was letting people ahead of me. I ordered a bagel and when I produced my card he rudely told me there was a $ 5 minimum to use a card.(Thanks for a sign stating that… NOT). He acts as though you should know his menu inside and out, like what cheeses he offers for sandwiches. I’ve overheard him complain about«new» customers not knowing the menu. Though I find it funny that his business will only grow if NEW people keep coming in. Maybe he doesn’t care. So…if you want a fairly decent priced and good tasting lunch and aren’t worried about bad service then this is your place. If you can’t get your big girl panties on that day then I’d try something else. This guy might make you cry! ;)

At the risk of seeming politically incorrect, the owner of this place is the Kimchi Nazi(Seinfeld reference to the«soup nazi.») He is VERY good at what he does. He takes all the orders and expedites them himself, maintaining quality control. He has his regular customer base, and is very happy with it. New customers are not his favorite. He takes the phone off the hook because, «people don’t know how to order.» Seem a little harsh? He’s RIGHT! I’ve seen him yell at a customer for picking up their order 1 ½ hours after it was ready. He almost didn’t give it to the guy. Why? Because«now it’s going to taste like crap.» Again — he’s RIGHT! This guy is awesome. He is self proclaimed«half Korean/half Boston.» There is ALWAYS a line, but it runs expeditiously. He harasses all his customers with a quick wit and a smile. He has a large TV that plays«Family Guy» all day long. He has an eclectic menu that includes Korean favorites, Asian fusion tacos, sushi, AMAZING udon, clam chowder, wraps, and serves traditional bacon and eggs breakfasts. Everything is flavorful. This guy knows his STUFF! Hint: order right off the menu. Don’t change anything. And KNOW what you want before you start. You really can’t go wrong — everything is good!

Their baby udon is perfectly-sized and so flavorful! The Alaska Roll is a generous portion and comes with your choice of miso or salad. This place gets nonstop busy so arrive early to avoid a long line. A good lunchtime option if you work in the area.

Rude. Food was ok and I would probably go back had I not heard the cashier(owner, maybe?) say to another customer that there were new customers today and it was annoying. Given I was a new customer who had some questions, I took issue.

«A-OK» pretty much sums it up. I’ve never had a bad meal here, but nothing really stands out either. They have reasonably priced lunch combos that are pretty tasty and filling. I think they cook all of their food to order but I can’t be sure.(I’m usually distracted by Family Guy that’s playing in the dining area. I don’t like that show but it help pass the time while waiting for my food.) The reason I bring that up is because the meat doesn’t really stay hot. I always get my lunch to-go, and by the time I get back to my office just two blocks away, the food is generally barely above room temp at best. That might be because the side salads cool the meat off. Overall, It’s a Wrap is a decent lunch option that is pretty consistent and fills the niche for affordable and quick asian food.

I was craving Korean food and so, I Unilocaled the closest Korean restaurant near my office. This place showed up. I ordered a bulgogi plate which came with rice, and 2 sides. Bulgogi was just okay. Decent serving for $ 8.99 or so. Reminded me of Beef Bowl but with better cuts of meat. The potato salad was a bit bland and flavorless and the bean sprouts were so so as well. I may give this place another try.

I have noticed you get a bit more food if you eat in instead of take out. Nevertheless, it’s decent food for a slightly higher price then it should be(but given it’s location in downtown LA, I don’t blame them.) The staff is friendly but the service is a bit slow since they’re a small restaurant.

I wish I could post a picture of Archer saying«NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE» because that’s what I’d say. I mean, honestly, the food isn’t that great or authentic or even tasty. People come here because it’s really the only«Korean» restaurant in walking distance if you’re downtown LA and they play Family Guy non-stop on the TV. I wish I could say something positive about the food but each time I’ve gone, a little bit more of my Korean side dies a little. The owner is great but c’mon, step your game up. And I’ve told this to him to his face(in a nice way of course). Sigh…

Today was my first trip here. Don’t be fooled by the name of this place. Sure, they’ve got wraps, but only like, 4 choices. They also have salads, Udon, Japanese, and Korean food. I went there for lunch thinking I’d get a wrap and I ended up eating Korean tacos… what the?! Well, I was pleasantly surprised, as they were pretty dang tasty! I had one of each kind of meat(don’t ask me what they were… like bulgogi, pork, and the other thing… galbi?). Clearly I am no Korean food expert! Doesn’t matter because I can tell you that the meat was really nicely marinated. I only ended up eating 2 tacos and those satisfied my hunger. The guy at the cash register was HILARIOUS!!! After some small talk, he told me that I’m a ‘fakeasian’…which I find to be really funny yet sad because it’s kind of true. Anyways, I’ll definitely be back just to talk to him again… he was a hoot! Oh, and I’ll be back for the Martinelli’s Sparkling Apple Juice… yummmmmm

Wait, what? This place is Korean? I had no idea… They have a bunch of wraps(surprise, surprise) and salads here, as well as some bowls and sushi too. To do its name justice, I ordered a wrap — the Thai wrap. It was pretty delicious. Standard Thai fare: spicy peanut sauce, bean sprouts, chicken squares, carrots, lettuce, etc. It was pretty tasty and it’s great to take to-go if you don’t want to sit and eat there. The cashier was jovial and nice to the customers but I could tell he was stressed out and less than friendly with the chefs making the food. Overall, it’s a good place, but I wouldn’t eat here every day, as a wrap costs about $ 8! Food in downtown LA is not cheap, and I’d rather eat at a nicer restaurant for the same price.

Don’t get the Korean Food here. It is really sub par. I’d advise taking a short drive(or metro ride) to K Town where you’d get much better food at a lower price. +1 star for showing Family Guy.
