is it possible to give less than one star for a rating? if so, that’s what I would give. placed an etsy order on March 28 with jah lambs and lions for a meskal t-shirt. payment was received by them yet we have not received the shirt. despite multiple voicemails to the store, six attempts to contact the store via etsy, and multiple messages through Facebook, Twitter and Instagtam there has been only one response — indicating the store is moving and the item would be shipped in a week. it has now been two weeks since then and still no response from jah lambs and lions. is this place a scam? how does one claim to represent consciousness and Ethiopian vibes yet conduct oneself with no regard for what is proper. the judgement will be dread!

Been spreading Rasta and Ethiopian culture in Los Angeles since the 90’s. Looking for some books regarding Ethiopia, Rasta, Jamaica, Reggae music, Tickets to Reggae shows? This IS the place! A great place for conscious T shirts too, and they’re made with«quality» cotton with only slight shrinkage.

Can anyone tell me when this place is open? lols, I have gone here specifically from out of the area several times and each time I come it is closed, wtf!?! At least there is good food nearby. I have shown up on a Sunday afternoon, a Wednesday afternoon and a Thursday evening. Any clue as to when I can stop by to browse?

If you’re looking to get a little rasta and get some true reggae sound selections, this is your stop. It’s a total whole in the wall… pretty small, but very authentic. I swear the dudes dreadlocks were 4 feet long. Which to me, mean they know what they’re talking about. I’m not sure about the Ethiopian restaurant next door, but this places serves up some crucial roots culture.

If yer into Reggae music and culture from Ithiopia this is a nice lil place to visit. Rastaman has some threads, selections, and the links to the Reggae shows ina di yard. If you traveled around the Caribbean you know what a culture shack is. It’s kinda like that. RESPECT.
