Yummy! Vegetarian sandwich hits the spot. Triple decker club is to die for. And so affordable!

Love it here. I come here every time I’m nearby and on top of their great sandwiches, their customer service is what makes them get 5 stars. Always so friendly and welcoming. Love their club sandwich and breakfast burrito Great service, great food. :)

The sandwiches are so good. Loved the variations they provide. They also sells a cup of fruit sometimes. Recommend club sandwich and hoagie! This is not a fancy spot but good enough to grab a bite.

Very Bad Service! I walked in to order a sandwich with my mother and father, and as my father and I were ordering, the Korean lady that worked at the counter was being very rude. She watched my father closely as if he was going to steal something as simple as a bag of chips or bottle of iced tea. An elderly man, maybe in his 60s, ordered food and was brought his food to his table. When my mother ordered her chicken teriyaki, she had to come to the counter and get it and bring it back to her table. Everything that we asked for, seemed like it was a problem to her. Whether it was condiments, a cup of ice, or a To-Go Box. We were stared at the whole time, and were treated with total disrespect. Also, there was a strand of hair sticking out of one of the pepper shakers. Now, last thing. My mother is white, and father is African American, now I don’t know if it has anything to do with it, but if you are for equal treatment, I wouldn’t quite choose this location. Horrible experience.

This place is a very small mom and pop shop. Not big and not decorated for atmosphere. But has great food so far from my two times stopping by. I popped in one morning to get something to eat and ordered a breakfast burrito. It tasted delicious. The only downside I will say is that it would have been perfect if instead of rice they had put potatoes in it, which I am not sure they do. I grabbed a turkey avocado sandwich just today and the same… delicious, and yes the potato salad was awesome. I only wish they had given me more. Prices are cheap(cheaper than going to subway or anyplace else) and they are very friendly. Support your local businesses… this is one of them!

I love this place! The Korean couple that own the place always greet me with smiles when I come in to grab breakfast or snacks throughout the day. The healthy breakfast special is my favorite along with their bacon/ham egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwiches, and I always get a bowl of fresh diced watermelon. Service is fast, the place is clean, and food is always good!

Maybe I’m just a sandwich snob but the meat here is terrible, it’s the typical processed turkey you’d see in lunchables. I had the Turkado and it really is pretty bad. I saw a review that said the potato salad was the best ever and just thought this person must have been brought up eating raw potatoes. It’s just mashed potatoes with some chopped veggies, it’s terrible. I hear the soup is good and maybe the breakfast but didn’t try either so the only saving grace is that it’s cheap and really fast. I’d recommend going elsewhere for lunch unless dying of hunger.

Solid little deli, the presentation had a tinge of a high school cafeteria or a prison(according to orange is the new black, but the taste was pretty good. The owners seem nice enough, and very polite. I live close, so I’ll certainly be back. Definitely worth it if you’re into diner style eats.

I live down the street and finally tried this place today. I walk by it every day and it is usually empty inside. didn’t really ever attract me to come in, but I always see this sweet looking Asian couple inside. However, I do usually walk by there after 5, when they are almost closing. I am sure they are probably busy during breakfast and especially at lunch when all the employees in the building and surrounding buildings take lunch. The woman who took my order was very polite and friendly. I ordered a club sandwich and the same woman who took my order made my food. It was done in less than 5 minutes. I literally live down the block and preferred to eat at my apt then eat in there. It would have been a little awkward to eat inside since the place is fairly small and i was the only one in there. When I went home to eat it, I noticed it was neatly packaged and she included a fork inside my to-go box and it included a pickle and potato salad. WOW this is possibly the best potato salad I have ever eaten, no joke. I have eaten a million different potato salads and I honestly this is the best. However, it is a very small scoop. The club sandwich was very average. The meat they used in it was really cheap deli meat. I also think they used artifical(kraft or kraft-like) cheese. The sandwich was not bad, but just very average. In overall, I will most likely come back to this place because it is the CLOSEST, quickest, cheapest place around me to get food. I will also go back most likely to just get their potato salad. I would not recommend driving down to this place, but if you are in the neighborhood and looking for a cheap and quick bite, this is a good spot.

The reason for the 3 stars is because the owners are so nice and friendly. The food is just awful, some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten; low quality. I’m a foodie and have a fine palate. If you like McDonald’s you will probably think Janna’s food is good. I work in the building so if I need something quick I will go to Janna’s. Their soups and the sandwiches are okay. Stay away from the spaghetti and the teriyaki.

This is a cute little mom&pop deli shop owned by an adorable Korean couple. They are extremely welcoming and kind people. The shop is well kept and clean, but pretty bare with décor– nothing fancy here guys! The atmosphere is pretty lacking, but they make it up with great service. Now this is a place that value their customers! I ordered the Healthy Breakfast Special– 2 eggs(sunny side or over easy), 2 pieces of whole wheat toast, fresh avocado, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, and rice with teriyaki sauce… all for $ 4.45. It is quite the breakfast! Filling, healthy, and satisfying. oh, and totallly affordable. Note: They have a $ 5 minimum for credit/debit card transactions

I really enjoyed this place. The owner’s are so kind and generous, very hard-working people. Plus, I usually hate potato salad, well… They have the BESTPOTATOSALADEVER!!! I got the tuna sandwich on wheat when I went, which came with fabulous potato salad! It was delicious! All Around A Great Mom and Pop Sandwich Place! Plus, they got outdoor seating!!!

I was hungry for a sandwich… specifically a turkey sandwich… And after seeing that this café was so close to my house, I decided to go with my friend Stephanie S. to explore our options. To our delight we were enthusiastically greeted by the Korean owner. She was super sweet and friendly. I ate the TURKADO…(turkey avocado sandwich on wheat bread). They do not skimp on turkey. They give you two layers of turkey with the plenty of avocado slices in between. The sandwich is also accompanied by potato salad which was not my favorite and two slices of pickle. It was a delightful a neighborhood sandwich store.

Looky here, what café can a woman remember your name everytime you walk in with an Korean accent, «Oh hey there Danier! What would you like today?» It’s a very chill spot. I cannot comprain! — P.S. I’m the minion that works under Matthew the property manager. Say hello to me on the 21st floor!

The prices are good for regular lunchtime eating without breaking the bank. I feel a lot better about going here and supporting these nice people that going to Subway for the same cost and I get a pickle and a yummy wee side of potato salad which I love. And in the downpour of last week it was nice to only walk downstairs and not get drenched for lunch. The Tofu and Veggie Sandwiches are pretty good, Egg and Cheese Croissants are great. The Spicy Soba is ok and they have Egg Salad Sandwiches which makes me happy. I actually really like their coffee which makes grabbing breakfast there possible since they have a $ 5 minimum to use a card, which is illegal but I am in there often and they are nice and English is not their first language so I feel like a jerk raising a stink and so I get my egg and cheese croissant and a coffee which puts me over $ 5 *sigh* Atmosphere is non-existent and there are always neighborhood weirdos out front, I always get it to go.

Wow… after walking by Janna’s a million and one times, I finally had a chance to try it. I had the Turkey Sandwich with Avocado(‘Turkado’?) which was great. Lean turkey, fresh vegetables and bread, just the right amount of condiments(don’t most of us hate how some sandwiches are drowning in their own sauces — ‘What is this, a sandwich or a stew??’). The side potato salad was also good. I don’t really care for potato salad to begin with, but this one was tasty and again had just the right, small amount of extras, keeping it fresh. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Update: I’ve returned to Janna’s a handful of times. Although I’ve only tried their sandwiches, every sandwich has been great. Again, fresh, flavorful ingredients with just the right(small) amount of condiments.
